Caring

Our lives are one of constant care,

As we are always running from here to there,

Yet the care we show is no care at all,

Except for ourselves since Adam's fall,

And still He came, His death and life for us to share.

The Three Days, That The Three Of Them Changed Me!
~
I was minding my own business, when
my wife wanted to go to a bookstore,
she just needed some cards, dumb me I
went in with her, looking around as I
started out the door a book caught my
attention. “Free Book” 50% off, of coarse
I had to buy it God was just daring me not too.
~
Have you ever felt like Jesus was just talking
to you alone and no-one else.
That is the way I have felt all weekend,
I feel like I am having my own alone time right
now to get things right with God. For too long
I have been trying on my own, and it has not worked:
Now I am turning it over to Jesus and the Holy Spirit,
and letting them take care of the big things,
I’ll take care of the little things.
~
Oh yea, this week my bondage’s and struggles’
were taken over one by one by Jesus and his Father.
They did not have a chance once the Holy Spirit
got moving in me. I never in my life
felt this way until I felt the Holy Spirit move in
on me. Now I know my life has been changed forever.
Darn them for all ganging up on me anyway; I just was
not ready for them all at once.
~
But oh what a ride, I guess I needed this journey
I was on, for me to grow in Jesus’
name. So don’t despair in your journeys
as you travel through life, enjoy them as
you grow with the Lord. The Holy Spirit are
going to be part of your growing adventure.
Sit back and enjoy them, don’t fight them like
I did; let them become a part of you. Amen

He Loves Me

He spoke to me one morning
As I strolled along the beach.
He spoke in silent whispers
My very soul to reach.

He told me that He loved me.
And without a word to say,
He gave to me a sunrise
To begin another day.

Onward I walked along the shore
Looking upward to the sky.
Saw the vastness of the universe,
And in silence; asked Him, why?

“I made it all for you”, He said,
“And gave you eyes to see
The beauty of my creation
As you walk along with me.”

He spoke to me this morning
Through the oceans mighty roar.
I saw his hands of mercy,
His gentle fingers on the shore.

He fed each bird that wandered by
And by that He said to me,
“I’ll care for you all day today
As you saw Me care of these.”

Everything I saw was His
The earth, the sky, the sea
And everything in every place
He’d put there just for me.

Why does He love me as I am?
I haven't the faintest clue.
He's loved me since time began
And will 'til time is through.

I saw His face and felt His hand
That morning by the sea.
And feel His presence every day
As He walks along with me.

The Passenger

He is only a passenger,
In a fast moving car.
Full of selfish, reckless people,
Who don’t know who they are.

They race through a crumbling world,
Desperate to be seen.
Their attempts to gain attention,
Are thoughtless and obscene.

They’ll do the necessary things,
To make you notice them.
But if you don’t accept their ways,
They’ll rebuke and condemn.

They’ve chosen a pretentious road,
And don’t know what’s in store.
They have no care for life and limb,
His warning, they ignore.

His good advice falls on deaf ears,
They don’t care what he knows.
They act as if He isn’t there,
Faster the driver goes.

But when they reach the highway’s end,
And the ground disappears,
That’s when they ask Him to step in,
Hoping He’ll ease their fears.

But the passenger wipes his eyes,
And in a somber voice,
He tells them what now lies ahead
Was utterly their choice.

“I have offered you direction,
To keep you from this fate.
It was not my wish to lose you,
But now it is too late.”

“You said, ‘I will heed your warning,
Once I have had my fun’.
But if you die before that day,
Your deeds can’t be undone.”

“I tried to warn you of this path,
But I was never heard,
You had salvation in your grasp,
If you’d heeded my word.”

“But you thought you knew everything,
And so ignored my call.
Now what you knew has brought you here,
Eternally to fall.”
