Best Rappers Poems
I'm tired of rappers bragging about things that make no sense
We get it, you're going to have sex with our girls because you're unable to get your own girlfriend
What good is you wearing a diamond chain if you don't pay your rent?
You rented a mansion for your music video but go home to live in a tent
Instead of taking the time to create a good work of art, you'd rather put the most amount of songs on an album
Well done you can rhyme with a million words, but you can't spell one
You say you made 10 million from selling drugs, yes of course you did
Stop showing your jewellery off if you don't pay for your kids
You've been popular for 5 minutes and call yourself the best, but soon you'll be irrelevant
You brag about taking drugs, well done, aren't you intelligent?
I'm sat listening to today's rappers and my patience is wearing thinner than a strippers G-string
Because of all these 5 minute rappers calling themselves the king
You brag about being covered in ice, so how come you can't spit a cold rhyme?
You think Gucci gang is a classic song, and anyone who disagrees is an old head with an old mind
You'll do something dumb on Instagram to try and prove you're a mad dude
Well done you should win the award for "Rapper with the most face tattoos"
I'm tired of rappers bragging about things that make no sense
Your song has 7 different words, and you still forget them when you perform at events
You rent a mansion for your music video but go home to live in a tent
Rappers please stop posting pictures of cash when you don't even pay your rent
write about what sells
the producers yell
as i ponder the story and the story told well
whom do i obey, the art or the story that sells
which of these two will make ME do well
of course a classic will be fantastic
to be well known my heart says blast it
explode upon a world unknown
phrases which the world has not known
phrases of a world rarely shown
but when exposed to reality
true wisdom and hearts will see
the right words this poetry be
not jest to man or God this glory be
but to words that touch your reality
your hurt, your pain, your happiness, your glory
jest what the producer liked will be in this story
the passion that makes people go wild
that will be this stories style
a style they haven't heard in a while
a good ole classic in good ole classic style
One thing I'll neva do is provide a pre-packaged product for you
I'm quality food, so mouth shut, shallow and chew
Speaking in tongues. I came to shower people with love
like, you're not breathing enough, and that's the reason you suck
some cats can't follow me past the first line
too deep for the small mind
I laugh it up, no matter what's happening, I'm fine
just glad to be alive
focused, precise, and in total control of my life
you ain't nothin but a chump to me, just company property rap
I'm watching my back, burn bridges at the drop of a hat
ripping mics and living like Jesus for now
so if you see me in town, let me sleep on your couch, really
am-bivalent about the thought of fans listening
and watching my hands scribbling contraband images
yes, you are now in tune with the sound of poverty
album quality, straight to underground economy
you heard about the dirty weapons cause you never witnessed it
Imma human television with depth and vivid images
what's the gameplan? watch my ego do a faceplant
a chan, a god man, used to have a basic cable brainspan.
what you got, dude? nothing but a rhyme and a hot loop
and a promise you can stop it the second it's not true
now you rappers make it hard to believe in your music
I hear what you're saying, the problem is I see what you're doing
now if I bless the beat, best believe I spoke it honestly
because I know you're watching me like the flow was stolen property
so from all the love and respect to all the stuff I regret
when it's five o clock in the morning and nothing is left
no lies and no secrets to hide from those demons
cuz we live like dogs and we die for no reason
so strip the language away, the games that we play,
be creative and brave and drop some knowledge today,
with single moms living on some government checks
who struggle with debt facing a future that's nothing but stress
see, I choose to speak to those who truly need the food and heat
losing sleep while their favorite rapper shops for jewlery
kids who learned firsthand the truth is useless
going to school with bruises and a thousand smooth excuses
broken down for those who doubt the pain behind the music
like, let's rewind the tape so I can find the frame to prove it
Some people are afraid of going outside,
Because they messed up and they have no guide
Prowling dogs, waiting, watching for a time to strike,
They’re just trying to buy themselves a motorbike
All the hate, where does it come from, Insecurities?
Maybe we all have a false sense of security?
But how will we know if the only side we see
Is the media with their far-fetched hyperboles
Death is right outside of my door
The only way I’m avoiding it is staying in my drawer
People seeking me out to get famous
Sometimes I think all of this is contagious
One falls and then another and another
All I wanted to see was my little brother
What do they get out of it except to say
That was me, the one with a gun on Champs-Élysées
Let’s take, for example, a rapper with a few tattoos
Only trying to tell us “live the life that we choose”
He became so famous he told everyone to look at him
They sure did, gunned down on a whim
LLJ, the rapper from Plantation
Is now being ferried by Charon
Death is right outside of my door
The only way I’m avoiding it is staying in my drawer
People seeking me out to get famous
Sometimes I think all of this is contagious
I know you were struggling your whole life with jealousy
But I just want you to know you left a legacy
i don't write poems like poets
or rap like rappers
i flow boats like rowers
talk what matters
wasn't raised on council estates
still a victim to down force weight
gravity pulls seeds from trees
it's a vertical growth without no treats
see how poetic wordings breathe
evading me in the verse and beat
as i rap beneath the expectations
a difference without explanations
tap my toes to extrication
set up camp an extra station
stuck with pens and pencils
this stationary cupboard ain't for me
won't buckle when standing tall
rising vegetation will reach the breeze
above and free
the highest tree
you be you and i'll be me
an artist of originality
harvesting brutality
I'll teach myself and I'll be me
and if you're you and true to thee
I'll see you and you'll see me
we'll be our own unlike the rest
and we'll be we, we'll be our best
RAPPERS & LEGENDS IN THE UFC
In the Octagon, where fists collide,
All Eyez on we, the view is worldwide.
This battle's a wild mix of might & rhythm,
But when the ref calls time, it's all for a gold limb.4
Tupac enters first with ferocity and might,
Throwing rhyme-punches at anything in sight.
Shakur is a warrior with words that pierce,
In the cage, his passion is so fierce.8
Biggie Smallz steps in, swagger and style,
His lyrics hit hard, his punches fueled by guile.
A heavyweight with rhymes so smooth,
In the UFC, his flows would make crowds groove.¹²
Eminem jumps in, the lyrical genius unbound,
With lightning speed, his opponents confound.
The real Slim Shady proves he's the lyrical master,
His rapid-fire knocks out opponents faster.¹6
Here comes Kendrick Lamar, a UFC pro.
In the octagon, he brings the flyest flow.
A warrior poet, he weaves a lyrical spell,
Knocks-out his foes before the jingle of the bell.²°
50 Cent's in the ring, ice cold, bold & untamed,
Knocking out opponents, leaving them maimed.
When he brings the Gorilla Units, there's tremor
But when he's solo, he's sharp as a razor.²4
Snoop Dogg's turn, laid-back, swag & chill,
His flow hypnotizes, his punches kill.
Unleash him in the cage, watch him brag
With hit smash, he's always on track.²8
Lil' Wayne joins the fight, tattooed and bold,
His wordplay stings, his punches take hold.
Young Mulla won't back down from any rap mission,
His punches hit hard like a lyrical collision.³²
Wiz Khalifa enters, smooth like no other,
His punches light up foes, he's a stunner!
With his cold-chill swag & cool demeanor,
He brings the smoke & reigns like the guvnor.³6
And last but not least, Travis Scott takes a stand,
His melodic punches echo through the land.
Trap Music King with energy on full blast,
In the Octagon, his performance would last.4°
As the rappers clash in this UFC rap quest,
Their words like punches put their skills to the test.
Each with their own unique vibe and flair.
Envision the battles they would share.44
As the crowd roars, this sight appeared sublime,
Their applause jubilant, returning us from the dream,
For in this arena, these rappers reign supreme.47
