Beautiful Profits

Slam entry for contest

Being british through and through, what the hell!
Even here in England I smell the crude slick smell.
British Petroleum, BP, yes I said it!
Feeling to blame for the fat cats messed up S##t!

I’m sure that the story here is only half told
News dies off fast when all the papers are sold!
£13 billion pounds to “compensate” the damage
That’s ok then?! Let’s relax and have a cheese sandwich!

How sad, Mr BP losing his job, he’ll have to sell his Rolls Royce
Lets be honest, he’s not gonna line up for a job through choice!
13 million barrels leaked, no wonder a gallon is £6
At that price it amazes me how they afford to get a plane off the ground!

Lets go on holiday…not to America though, why though?
Embarrassed to be fair. I shouldn’t be that much I know.
‘The dead sea’, full of oil, not the one that replenishes skin!
‘Sea of death’, full of hurt,…oh, hello Mr BP, your money is gonna wear thin!

Premium Member A Population Balance

Population
Seems to be a constant ratio
New born and deaths
Always keep a balance
Marriage and pregnancy
Triple the populations
New generations emerge
Wars ,disasters ,epidemics, natural causes
Double the diminishing
Deaths occur
What's a hell
Who is guilty
Man is a part of the violator
Because he starts a war
Because he persuades the virus grows
Because he's careless about the natural disasters
And too bad
Some people are still making profit out of them
And life becomes harder and harder
In the end
Man pays an extra debt for his own deeds
Just because of
A fake population balance
A real scandal
To kill and to conquer( wars )
To pursuit freedom of choice of life styles ( selfish and careless )
In the end
Some people just sigh
They can't do anything
Because this Omicron is also just a population balance

Pirate Eyes of False Profits

They love to sell into the dark end,
where covetous souls
plunge to the bottomless debt deep

Parrot voice chirps got the suicidal siren blasting:
Saying a lifestyle of surfeiting
is an overdrawn bank account pleasure drowning

Pirate eyes cast a silver tongue hook
of bait-and-switch repo
to the blue wails

Underwater mortgage
from a pirate lending shark loan
cause the cash minnows to prey groan

Heavy is the dropped credit anchor pain,
sinking life savings ...
Treasure chest safety net
401k disappearing

Another black pirate patch
cast a hollow gaze
False profits on the rise,
usury rescue in pocket tearing decline

Pirate eyes wink leviathan;
spearing desperate, money hungry short fins
at the bottom feeder end

Purse plunderers sale on the pirate flag
wavy death tide ...
Peering into the empty wallet
abyss dark
Where all false profits
foggy deceit hide

How It Will End

You will become old
Older than the wild
Older than dull cutlery

Someone will feed you with a spoon
You will eat the spoon and ask for another
Tubes and wires will hold you together

Nurses will come in the night
Roll you from room to room for tests
On beds with rotating wheels
It is for the best so rest

They will come with white sheets
With cutting machines and drills
With smiles behind dark masks
Stitches can only hold on so long
Is there oil or a cure for the cold in there?

Words mumble through saliva
Slip from the tongue in a dribble
Anesthesia soothes the soul
No one listens to old people
Is there gold in there?

Wrinkles build highways on faces
Take on a life of their own on the elderly
Stretch for miles over peaks and valleys
To the valley of death for what cause

Doctors operate for a profit
To find what's inside worth saving
How it will end is not for us to say
There must be something left in the pockets

The Flesh Profits Nothing

To have a heart that is tied up in knots
when their are a dozen of pots
 in your sink;
 Can't even think
 to dismiss this Earthly bliss
in a time well spent in thought.
Yet the Spirit brings life & peace.

A heart saturated with unconditional love
shall withstand the true test in time!
Words have an effect on people
 so choose words of edification.
 Smile 'cause it's contagious
 so pass yours on.

We can each do our part in making this world a better place.
Love should be the true essence of our existence.
 Become a beacon of light
to a hurting world in need.
 Love your neighbor
spread words of peace and togetherness.

Each of us has a responsibility in this life.
Our life will soon be passed
only what's done for truth will last.
What we do with our time today
 will become evident through eternity.

Children of the Profits

I was told I was liberated
by the children
of the people who enslaved me

I was told I was emancipated
by the graven image
on the penny

The children said:
“Please forgive their forefathers —
It was only business,
nothing personal”

The pennywise children said:
“We were taught to multiply the dollar
Every money tree
need seed money to grow

Deprive not the blood soil —
Tear dirt needed
for the golden apples”

The children of the profits told me
their living will ~ last testament legacy
was to vow forevermore
to keep romancing the stone

The devout offsprings told me
they remained genealogy faithful to giving widow coin charity
See how the blood diamond riches of their mercy
have grandfather clause grown

But what the children of the profits
neglected to tell me ...
they were market driven
to set me free

That my unpaid labor
was bound to be replaced by soulless machinery
Children of the profits
do usury deed show forth their brotherly love greed

Profits Are Poets

Two thousand twelve, just a new year,
No one knows the end, except one.
With faith, knowing right, none to fear,
Everyone just hypes to shun.
Others do it, in lively pun.
Outcomes of profits can be fit.
They can be played, on any bit.
Profits are mans weakness, in life.
They make all people, fear their wit.
Profits are poets, giving strife.

The Profits In a Prophet's Prophecy

there are profits to be had if you listen to a prophet of the Lord
blessings of infinite proportions if you choose to get on board
the prophecy of a prophet, the words from a man of God
a man whom God will use, a man after His own heart
one who is willing to sacrifice and still do all that he can
to spread the gospel, intercede for others and follow God's master plan
but where are those kinds of prophets today?
true men of God whom we desire to obey
many of them have forsaken their ministries and compromised their callings
and can't seem to realize that spiritually they seem to be stalling
for it's quality and not quantity that the Lord God desires
it's not how many, but how devoted are those whom you inspire

Elijah was a prophet who had an intimate relationship with Christ
he lived during the times of Queen Jezebel's opulent life
but Elijah was a simple man of God who was most adamant
he stood on the word of God and was determined to follow the commandments
he declared one day that God said there would be a drought
and until the people changed their wicked ways, the rains would not pour out

one day on his earthly tour Elijah met a lost soul
a widowed woman of little means who had abandoned all of her goals
Elijah asked her for some water and then he asked her for some bread
she said I only have enough for one last meal and then I will be dead
she had given up, she was defeated, she had relinquished all hope
she had forsaken her belief system and no longer had a desire to cope
yet in the midst of all this virulence and all of this stress
Elijah said to trust in God's word so her testimony would progress
and after she committed to the word and took that leap of faith
she received a profit from the prophet's prophecy, she got a food rebate

when you trust in the Lord to provide all of your needs
He will overflow your storehouse with an abundance of seeds
if you believe in Him, you'll then receive from Him, come out of your comfort zone
trust in a prophet's prophecy it has the power of the heavenly throne
be obedient to God's commands, on His word you can depend
trust in God's promises, they will profit you in the end
the profits in a prophet's prophecy you will then receive
just say yes to all God asks of you and in His word truly believe

Parent Sales

(buy two for the price of one)

Serve your mom and dad a tea at breakfast
With ginger and drops of sedatives to relax
Drive them to the market in Happy Town
Buy them new outfits and shoes
Parents must look good for a presentation
Comb their hair. Part it in the middle
Nix that. Your dad is bald.
Pat him on the head for good luck. "Good boy!"
Buy two leashes at the leash emporium
One pink, one in blue to tell them apart
Attach mom and pop around the neck but gently
Strangulation is against the law and not too friendly
Remember they are parents so show respect
Sell them at the marketplace. Kiss them goodbye
Slaves are in short supply these days
Parent sales are precious and fetch a pretty penny
They make great gifts at Christmas
Take dad’s wallet. It is the least you can do
For all he has done for you and don’t forget mommy
Leashes look great on them in pink and blue
Toodaloo you two

Authors Note: The author loved his parents. They were great people. He wants to inform you that this is a fictional piece and advises against selling your family members unless they start to annoy you.

I Am On the Light Side of History - and U - English Apologize 4 Slave Profits

It is better to ask JESUS what ought I to do, say, write ... than be in the SOUP of History.

HEADLINES: 8 hours ago: UK Banks and Church apologize for Slavery - WHY NOW?
Because BLACK LIVES MATTER. And you thought tjust "law and order" to make more dough.

'Former Bank of England governors and directors profited from slavery, as did a bishop and dozens of other clergymen.

The Bank said it would ensure that images of former governors who were involved in the slave trade are not displayed in its buildings.
The Church described its history as a "source of shame".
"Slavery and exploitation have no place in society," a Church spokeswoman said.'

Who Loves the First and Lastwords

The year 536 was
Named the worst year in
Human history.
When the sun refused
Toshine.
Men and women were
suffered by plague and
Illness.
Eruptions from the
World abroad
The Year 536
The Worst in
The history of Man!

Luke 4:24

'Verily, I say, ' my words unfold,
'This prophet's heart grows faint and cold—
No honor waits where I was known,
For in my town, I stands alone.'

They see the child I once had been,
Not dreams of what I'd come to win;
My tender voice, yet strong and clear,
Falls dull on hearts that will not hear.

The gifts I bring, they cast aside,
The light I hold, they fail to see;
How strange that near can be so far,
Their blindness hides the brightest star.

For in the soil from which I sprang,
My song goes mute, my harp can't sing.
Yet far beyond these familiar skies,
My vision soars, unbound, and flies.
