Best Political Party Poems

Dwight D Eisenhower

Choosing a favorite President is quite an arduous task
Given that most politicians usually wear a spurious mask,
but as a student of History, there was one that I admired;
" the scrappy kid from Kansas."* So many he has inspired.

In his biography there's a plethora of interesting information.
'Ike" was a 5 star general, besides leading this great nation.
A war hero, selected to be America's Commander and Chief.
A man of great integrity, who did not cause his country grief.

In his honor, a Washington Memorial was dedicated.
His bravery in war, and acts as President are celebrated.
After the war, he commanded European NATO forces
and overthrew communism from it's evil courses.

Voted U. S. President in 1952, with the slogan, "I Like Ike,"
Richard Nixon was his running mate; they were nothing alike.
In two terms served, he created a grand legacy for his name.
A President for the people, to him the office was not a game.

There are many valuable quotes that Eisenhower left behind
and I'll end with a few that I feel worthy for us to keep in mind;
none more appropriate than this one, I was happy to find...

"Some day there is going to be a man sitting in my present chair who has not been raised in the military services and who will have little understanding of where slashes in their estimates can be made with little or no damage. If that should happen while we still have the state of tension that now exists in the world, I shudder to think of what could happen in this country."

"The middle of the road is all of the usable surface. The extremes, right and left, are in the gutters."

"Leadership consists of nothing but taking responsibility for everything that goes wrong and giving your subordinates credit for everything that goes well."

"If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power."

Premium Member Might Never Makes Right

Violence in the political party

A pebble thrown to defend oneself from a barrage of 100- stones
The bully then complains of abuse—might never makes right
will we unite?—I Am Anaya “All for one and one for all”

Bullied everyday was he, his peer would tell the news agent
He was different, a loner, weird, wore camouflage
And so, we tormented him
A lunch bench, a boy sequestered was “bullied every day”
Silent, defeated, sunken, he rarely spoke a word
Clean slate, passes a routine background check
A dietary aid prepping food in a nursing home
Nothing unusual nothing remarkable
Republican at heart for God knows what gave way, donates
to the loyal opposition a progressive bent
A bit addled and mixed up, can we see?
Unleashing his wrath a man filled with hurt with hate
In his own backyard, the tormented dons the guise of the tormentor
The assailed becomes the assailant
The unthinkable is done, perched upon a roof
four-hundred feet away just minutes into the oration
he aims then pulls the trigger
obscure and distressed Crooks alters history’s course
with a firearm at the ready as a duty and right
Father Crooks kept many, in a very pro-gun town
At the hands of a 20-year-old man who was
bullied by their own sons and daughters
Counselors, both father and mother
trained to help troubled minds, how ironic
Where were they as their son’s inner storm brewed?
A blind eye turned away what shame, what horror
Yet the world’s most salient story

Political Futility

No more new year resolutions,
no more lie on government restitution,
no republic can survive its dilution
 no more pandemic blues,
 no more wild-eyed cons[iracy cues
 no more revenue that's due,
just a prayer for every ordinary me and you;

give me liberty, opinion and my own discretion
a say in the congressional gridlocked sessions
and give me my freedom of choice,
keep your Beemer, Lincoln, Lexus and Rolls Royce,
 help me vote, let me speak my voice;

let me give my fair share
 how much do you care
about health, hunger, poverty and medicare,
brother do you have a dime to spare,
is anyone with common sense there?

Where are the children too long missing
who's corporate behinds are you now kissing
what's with all the anger and the hissing,
end these shootings, hate fires the looting dissings
help the homeless and the poor, stop the dismissing
are your senate raging rants just visual political pissing?

Schumer, Pelosi, Manchin, McConnel and McCarthy
what is the point of your political party,
you play your little games of cat and mouse
while nothing is done in Senate or in House?

Get to work, do your jobs
stop the lobby dance and cut the hobnobs,
too long perhaps you hold power
all governments are now, equally soured
while the general population is deflowered.

Premium Member Sanders the Clown In a Circus of Democrats

Clowns at the Abyss

I’m not a communist,
I’m a Democratic Socialist
Cries the independent Elitist

It’s a right to have healthcare
It’s a right to have welfare
Yet, funding for these generous proposals is no-where.

The clown behind the podium is a saint with your resources.
He proposes everyone pay their fair share, but more so by titan economic forces.
He hails we all work hard, or maybe not, assuming he is a party to the class of workhorses.

But the political party leaders are less like workhorses and more like jackasses.
For they too look down on their Animal Farm with tilted looking glasses.
Under their more-equal-than other proposals, in time all resources will be exhausted for the masses.

We have seen in the last century the million on million dead from empty promises given with a kiss.
We witnessed the suffering. Excuse me but was there something I missed?
If we cannot resist repeating our mistakes, like clowns we be, looking up from the bottom of an abyss.

Coveting is not a virtue.
You can vote your way into Socialism,
but you have to shoot your way out.

Premium Member Memorial Day, 2019 In America

Americans are Americans, period.
No matter color, sex and for heavens, sake!
Not ....Their "party affiliation,"
On which some are insanely fixated.

We were born au natural.
We were not born as a member of political party.
That's a choice you make way later.
But some think they must be of the same political
lineage as their pater.( father)

I bring all this up as today is Memorial Day.
Millions died to keep America free.
Guess what?
All colors, ages, political parties under the
earth now lay,
Who gave their lives for you in foreign lands!
We are supposed to honor the dead today.

So today, only one channel with backbone
Carried the ceremonies to honor them.
The other two,  busy trying like insane bees,
To destroy the current Presidency!

These same two channels that lauded criminal
Michael Avenatti for the next President.
(Had him on over 200 times!)
But neither showed few if any of the ceremonies
at Arlington Cemetery?
Get a clue! That tells you something!

Are they really that dense? Do they think the dead
in wars did not include Democrats?
They will have criminals on and America haters,
disgusting race- baiters, and all manner of
impeachment go-getters.
But can't honor fallen heroes? Not a chance!
The true heroes, go ignored by two major networks.

Meanwhile, the dead sleep under grass and flags.
I am glad they cannot see, how un-American, we
Americans have become.
Destroying the Constitution, killing babies and worse.
Forbidding-saluting our flag and hiding statues of
American heroes.
And banning cauliflower~as its is too "colonial?"

Today, we stuff ourselves with processed foods
Growing bodies like balloons.
Walking barefoot on lovely poisoned grass,
All too perfect!
Poisoned food in our faces, while we sneer in
hatred at this great nation.

It's so terribly tragic.
The political blindness, the sheer ignorance here.
Causes me to pray to stop this endless vexation.
Before we become a Communist nation.

Premium Member Some People Live the Same Day Every Day

Some people are bored.
I am not.
Some people live the same day every day.
I don’t.
Some people never change their opinions.
I do.
Some people have not picked up a book since high school or college.
I am not one of those.
Some people do not believe in life-long learning.
I do.
Some people like to clean.
I don’t.
Some people stay with one political party or one religion because it was their parents’.
Laugh.
Some people are garage-door opener sellers because their mom was a garage-door opener seller.
Really?
Some people never find out that they are a cartoonist, a poet, a painter, a gardener.
I did.
Some people live the same day every day.
Exactly as their parents did.
Other people live a fresh new day, every day.
The bound out of bed, delighted to be wearing mismatched socks, both fluffy of course.
They pop into their stretch pants, and their saggy, baggy, comfy, sixteen-year-old favorite Mickey Mouse sweatshirt and they head for their art studio.
Or they run to their office and plunk themselves down with a coffee or a tea and a piece of pie or something equally delectable, and they begin to write or draw or throw glitter in the air.
Guess which one I am?

Premium Member A Cheap Pleonasm: Make America Great Again

America has been GREAT, great for the last two centuries.
All right, America has been the greatest among all countries,
For a long time. MAGA is a cheap pleonasm, which just
Won the most contentious election in American history.
The problem, as widely reported, Trump is corrupt, unjust,
Sexist, racist, homophobic, xenophobic, vociferous, and nasty.
This is the first time that we have such a hyperactive loose cannon,
Who is despised by his own political party. He is an orchestra
Of unusual lyrics and melodies. The man is like an untamed lion.
As a reminder, money, strength and power are not everything.
Humility, wisdom, decency, and common sense, in America,
Are extremely crucial and important, to make the dogs sing.
A president should be a role model, a beacon for children;
A fighter, a problem solver, a savior for the entire electorate;
A leader, a giant not a bully, a diplomat for the world to emulate.
The jury will be deliberating; America does not need to be 'great again';
We need an improved economy, mutual respect, controlling the flow
Of immigration, money, illicit drugs, and put our ducks in a row,
To be a haven for all, regardless of race, color, gender and ethnicity.
America is the greatest, I am not lying; simply ask the Statue of Liberty.

Destined to die too young, a young bride's fright

Married to my first love, a baby rings
There is a murder in our young sight
A handsome young Kennedy on TV springs

A young bride crawling away as if she has wings
A baby boy kicks with all his strong might
Dating my first love, hearing Elvis sing

In the sixties young love into marriage zings
Hope for a different future takes flight

Sudden end to hopes and dreams death did bring
Deep down in the spirit a seed planted alright

To me my meeting my future husband and my marriage then children was
an important part of the sixties but of course only to us did it really matter.

Leftwing defined: members of a liberal or radical political party, or those
favoring extensive political reform..

Leftwing origin in the political sense in the first half of the 1800s where
in European legislatures the seating practice to seat those holding liberal
views were assigned the left side of the house..It also had use in military..

Save Malaysia Today

Save Malaysia Today

S - Some time ago, there was a sovereign fund named 1MDB...
A - All too soon, there were mounting allegations of suspicious activities...
V - Various allegations hinted of serious financial and administrative irregularities..
E - Ere you know it, the hot potato that is 1MDB is fouling up the economy...

M - My country Malaysia today is a nation of highly stressed daily living….
A - All my countrymen are suffering from a drastic rise in the cost of living…
L - Lives everywhere are struggling to cope with a falling economy…
A - As the drastic price rise in raw petroleum has pushed up pricings..
Y - Yet the government saw fit to introduce after 1st April 2015 GST, a pervasive
      6% sales tax …
S - Sure enough, consumer prices immediately spiralled upwards as GST is a
      cumulative form of tax…
I - In fact, the high petroleum price and this new sales tax has effectively double
      the cost of living..
A - All Malaysians are increasingly disenchanted with the top man in the political
       office…

T - There is a most historic gathering today of politicians in an effort to save the
       Malaysian nation..
O - One impossible gathering of leaders from the ruling political party in cahoots
        with the opposition …
D - Demands were made through various speeches presented by all the political
       bigwigs in attendance..
A - All were in agreement that illegal donations, GST and 1MDB were linked to the
       top minister's silence …
Y - Yet to be seen, will this gathering and a Citizen Declaration be just the spark to
       save Malaysia?

Introducing, New - Diet Dr Dishwater: a Manifesto For a New Kind of Nihilist

What's the point of Dr. Dishwater?
Well, what's the point of anything?
The only thing that appears
to have a concrete purpose
is my car key
- And I haven't been able to afford a car in years!

Dr. Dishwater emphatically rejects anything
that is not dishwater,
and fully supports anything that is:
And that's how we'll keep the human race
pure of interbreeding
(with the always friendly faces of "eugenics"
and "Social-Darwinism" as our watchwords.)

The better you understand something,
the more like dishwater
it turns out to be:
In a triple blind taste test
- I preferred Dr. Dishwater
to having my eyes yanked from their sockets
(even while under general anesthetic.)

Dr. Dishwater says,
"Don't be fooled into thinking
there has to be a reason
for everything"
 - Because you'll buy whatever we tell you to:
Dishwater or not!

Dr. Dishwater reveals the surprising truth
about people and situations
- Just add a little dishwater
and they're pretty much all the same...

...Dr. Dishwater does not subscribe to any religion,
or endorse any political party,
or do anything other than dishwater
- Those who disagree must be illegal aliens.

There is no real secret to feeling dishwater
- But if one is foolish enough to drink Dr. Dishwater
while visiting Seattle,
their stomach will explode!

Dr. Dishwater may be the preferred drink
of other people
such as yourself
 - If you're anything like other people
and the situations they find themselves in
with dishwater.

Never overestimate the remarkable abilities
of Dr. Dishwater brand soda
- Try 'new' Diet Dr. Dishwater instead:
You'll swear you're drinking genuine dishwater,
at only half the calories!

Please wake up every morning
knowing that things are going to be dishwater
- They had better be, or you'll get diabetes!

Premium Member New Resolution Discernment

Time for New Campaign Year ReSolutions,
perhaps informed with some new political economy
discernment questions.

Why is a free market
most accessible to those with the largest investments
in marketing?

Could this be the same question:
Why are our free political elections
most accessible to those who invest most heavily
in self-partisanship?

Why does suppression or oppression or repression,
some kind of taxing expression,
of the free cooperative-barter labor market
feel related to the rapidly increasing disecological cost
to Earth's formerly free commodities,
elements,
communionation,
co-arising intelligence,
ecosystemic integrity,
and possibly some cooperative research
hunting and gathering nutrients,
while avoiding toxicity?

Why does it cost so much
to competitively market the economic policies and political procedures
intended to evolve healthy cooperative free markets?

Why does freedom from fearful need for
--debt forgiveness
--redemption
--absolution
--ever more effectively voiced competition
to avoid untimely divestment
feel so much like freedom to give
mutually cooperative compassion
--for being merely human,
--for not being humane enough for our own SuperMonoTheistic
Awareness,
--for not being unnaturally spiritual enough
for our EgoCenters to entirely forget
our ubiquitously shared neurosystemic
empowering political
and enlightened economic
RNA regenerative roots?

Why do I feel
and not think
free of participating in competing
racist
sexist
homophobic
eco-political networks,
structures,
systemic trauma

When I buy groceries and clothes,
every time I support an
--overly anthro-indulgent,
--over-commodified
--overly toxic
--overly carbon-footprinted
--overly LeftBrain dominant
corporation

Including political party corporations
competing for market shares in votes,
and how do I feel free to support overly incorporated candidates
for overly-commodified public offices?

Why does an independent multiculturist
sound like an oxymoron?
while a cooperative polyculturing network
sounds like deep nurturing
nutritionally healthy
resonance?
