There Was A Gentle Man, Known As Jimbo
Who Had An Exceptional-Voiced, Poet-Lingo
That When He Spoke To The Trees
They All Dropped Their Leaves
At The Autumn Song of His Classical-Soul-O
For Jimbo ... Because of His Depth of Soul
Tenderness For Nature
Strong Convictions, Multi-Faceted Triumphs
and an All Around Good Guy
Your Poet-Friend, MoonBee
I lay here, half awake
seeing shadows of trees
leaves swaying
In the faint Autumn breeze
making patterns on my bedroom wall
now still
now moving as cars rush by
their headlights
splashing a golden glow
into the darkness
keeping me awake
so that I see shadows of trees
making patterns on my bedroom wall

Leaves still clinging golden and true
after the first Autumn snowfall.
Boughs waving windy good byes to
the last of the yarrows white pall.
Fallow fields of rye long gone by
who also wave heartfelt adieu
as the wild geese cry flying by
so neatly arranged in their queues.
The color of winter and snow
Fly through the sky now and then they fall
Time drifting trees spun red, white, blue snowflakes of earth
Down along mosaic chimneys these wind-fingers whisper
On cold print ice
Delicate rich crystalline smoke
Turns blustery blow autumn sun holiday...
