Being bolsters blessings
Subtle spirit staying

Pamper posture primal
Discern discards dismal

Boom boosting blossoms bright
Laughter lingering light

Seeker strokes sound sightings
Mindful moments moving

Living lovely laughter
Signing simple saunter

Juicy jumpstart juggles
Dancing dizzy dazzle

Silent stillness succinct
Dreamy dazzle distinct

Knowing knowledge kneeling
Purge proud pure pride praying

Urge unseen utopia
Meet mystic myopia

Times telling troubles true
Yes yonder yielding you

There’s nothing more satisfying -
Than seeing clearly.
The sharpness of the edges -
Cutting through you,
Leaving you starstruck.
Inspired.

Blink and you just might miss it.
Rest and you may never find.

The speed of reality is self destructive.
Slowly, the lines start to blur.
Fluid motion becomes static image.
Your eyes lose focus, the light starts to stir.

You lose sight of what once lied before you.
Frame by frame, the truth within grows.

Slowly now, and unsavory,
Vision becomes what you can not bear.
One picture perfect smear.
Anxious, and forever still.
Close your eyes,
It’s eternity, after all.
What have you got to lose?

A Plethora of Myopia and Hysteria

The truth like stark reality remains immutable
Despite attempts to promote sophisms
Dressed up as verity and verisimilitude at a high table
Where misguided minds dabble at euphenisms and cynicisms

To disembowel and undermine global discourse
Indulging in fallacies
To subvert its course and purpose
Concealed in feeble diplomacies and convoluted obstinacies

Whose flak erupts in fits of anger
In inopportune circumstances
Where the longer
Ego tripping attempts to project wrath instances

Couched in veins of business as usual
At the wrong time, in a wrong forum
Strikes an overly assertive tone so unusual
The world is left to wonder why beating a war drum

Can’t drive a spat
Among allies
Who fail to pat
Diplomacy rallies

On the back
Considering the bigger picture as a loftier objective
Than a protectionist posture to pack and unpack
Rising temperatures and mounting tensions in spite of subjective

Positions concealed in the thin veil of national security
Stratagems advanced in intransigent camps
Determined to undermine global authority and purity
To feed bumps, mumps, jumps, stumps

In garrulous annals of history
Rewritten by myopia
To recount a one-leader story
Fed on a plethora of hysteria over Syria.

Myopia of Life

We are sort of short-sighted
when looking at the life we live .
That's why we stumbled in time,
delaying progress itself...
Clogging up our mission,
of development... !

To see
Just be
Now free

To hear
Sync near
Right here

To smell
Charm tells
Grand dwell

To taste
Purge waste
Sheer haste

To touch
Wise nudge
Give much

To feel
Be still
Love heals

The Distant Land of Myopia

Dull tones smear and coddle in a gray muddle.
Cow munch cloud fields.
A reality steeped in prismatic conjecture
until I find my spectacles.

I enter reality, a Columbus arriving in America;
not on the continent, but on some island
and outcrop just short of finding.

Gradually, through the resurrection
of rods and cones,
a little myopia and less blind faith
feeds the expectant mind,
until it can see both the daffodils
and the ancient hands that brought them here.

Myopia Cured

I must concede, I must confess
My wisdom’s from unhappiness:
The insight of the salty tear
Stings my cloudy vision clear.

Start with good heart
Let cheer now art

Start then to yearn
Let poise now earn

Start to know truth
Move act as proof

Start to just be
Kind soul set free

Start with clear choice
Live happy voice

Start to be still
Discern love's will

Start with sure ease
Live soul's calm peace

Start to feel light
Sense wonder sight

Start here and now
Watch grace endow

Set succinct seek
Meet moments meek

Juicy joy jumps
See succinct sums

Love lifts laughter
Stream sweet saunter

Bubbly beams breeze
Sample sweet squeeze

Mind meeting mist
Glimpse gainful gist

Prize playful plot
Take timely thought

Hurl healing hurt
Dust dreamy dirt

See sensuous sway
Walk winding way

Breeze bouncing bourse
Craft clever cause

Note noisy nerves
Stretch slanting swerves

Humour hurts here
Set sparkling spheres

Speak if you must in wild card fling,
Each surge now shows how harsh pun cites;
Note crude blind trust as flashback springs,
Streaks of vain flow greet fragile bites;
Obsess the grain of hollow mood,
Rush of fire then swallows all;
Ignite the strain that burns dry wood,
Attest just when strange crackles call;
Life myopic is but a choice.
Meet vague etchings in fate most vain,
Yield dystopic worn jaded poise;
Old line sketching forfeits complaint,
Pique of pride swells an empty mind;
Ink stains now tell of heart most blind,
Apt flavours dwell in moments kind.
