My Mvp

MVP, Lebron James
You're the king of all your games
A true color of a leader
which fades to no reader

A POETIC WALK WITH MARIANNE MOORE

Come read and let my voice
take you along a
syntactical line
                                  Better yet
                                   if well met
listen, make
this a unique
‘as is moment’
                                   ‘twixt you & I
Line indentation
underlines the parallels
of my verse
                                   The shape
my syllabic disposition,
the stanza
my unit of sense
in ‘sentence sounds’
                                  surrounds

Premium Member Imagist Mvp Hulme

Filling his verse with metaphor
Vers libre, not metre was the core,
He lit the fuse and walked away-
So little did his talent yield, for
He left his light on Flanders Field

Premium Member Imagist Mvp Adelaide

A well travelled lass named Adelaide
Innovative and never staid,
Unmarried,single but no old maid-
A short life, latterly full of pain,
Her epitaph,the American cinquain.

Ekphrasis tribute to and inspired by imagist-F S Flint

 musical rhythm of vers libre
in a sequence of concepts
&propositions
 recording impressions
clothed in beauty.
instinct over thought
independent of form
cadence lyrical expressed
where emotions
   are the driving force
in
 harmonic flows
 of nuanced length
&breadth

TRIBUTE
each day a new beginning
a time to start anew
cherish the gifts of the earth
with stewardship lent to you

within the heart of life
we each, must make this choice
fear not your tenderness
listen to that inner voice

beyond bitterness beyond tumult
there lies a better place
world without end
with Him,living face to face

Be My True Brother, Sister and My Mvp

*BE MY TRUE BROTHER/SISTER AND MY MVP*

The sunshine will set at its time
And the glittering life will fade in no time
The silver clouds will turn bloody gold
With the sun floating half on the horizon
My name would be on many lips known amd unknown
Maybe for good or the bad you never knew of
My good and the bad wold be told behind me
Body laid in six deep breathless
You will search my pictures
The best to crest the RIP
With emoji of broken hearts and tears

So I tell you today brethren
Post me today while I'm here
Make the call and send me that text
Celebrate me when I can view your posts
Come around when we can cheers to life
Call my name when I can answer
Beep my phone when I can call you back
Dine with me when I still know the taste of wines
Let's wine now that my liver hasn't failed

The whistle man isn't at the crossline
The deathpost is never stable
Long life isn't that long again
Death is the ultimate end
But the endline isn't calibrated
I won't be here tomorrow
Our memories is the evidence that we lived
Don't keep the best from me till I'm gone
Show me love today
Be my true brother and my sister
Be my muss and my MVP
