That Which Must Not Be Looked Upon

Arise dead ones; the grave has been loosened,
It has been crumbled up, like a man crumbles up a dream.
I Looked into myself, to the emptiness that is me
A dream lies before me
My foot has crushed it and in anger I have buried it
I have closed myself to it
For a buried dream must not be looked upon
It must not be remembered,
It must not be spoken off
For in the eyes, in remembrance, in the word- the grave loosens it.

You Must Not Know Inspired By Yulli B's "you Must Not Know"

You must not know
how I picture your lips on my bone
and if I'm not thinking at all
he'll burst through the International Concepts
70% pure, im fiend-ing for you
Can't get up from my desk because everyone will think im a Nazi, saluting proudly
the best sex around and I haven't touched you
just this wet dream
I'm trying to beat off
because that honey is the best
I bet the town next to us will know my name
You don't have time to smile when you're biting your lips
When i'm biting your lips
like a canvas brush painting
Varying stroke patterns
o's o's o's o's all over your face
You must don't know how it feels
when it is hard and ready to blow
you just melted all over it
pudding that good got me stalking your whereabouts
intercepting your dreams
and standing on stop of the roof with my jacket on in the middle of summer time
threatening to jump off if I don't get another lick
call the coroner
tastes so good
I just left a skeleton
You must not know
I"m a professional
boxer without the gloves we lost count of all the rounds
What number on you on?
I'm a master
so you could go to up bat all you want
look you are surrounded by the cockpit
wrapped around you like a bow
I bet you didn't know
Im a gift in bed
Write down the month
write down the time
you will never get this high again
sorry I had to go and do this
pounding so hard that it is
breaking your heart
now you writing how much your heart cries
You must not know
put the danger signs up
he is a heart breaker
Just when you thought it was over
the levees broke
and you flooded your panties
Operator: "Do you need FEMA ma'am"
You: "No, just called "T" instead
I'm flooding and I am drowing in my bed
I don't know what he put in me, it seems like
I can't stay dry!
How many girls do you think he hit before me?"
Operator: "You must be the victim of the call we received about a big bang sound; hold on
ma'am we are sending help now!
You: "Hurry, I'm seeing galaxies now, don't come without him"

Must Not Withdraw

No matter how slow we begin to move,
But if the pace is paced, in the right direction,
Sooner or later we are due, to be rewarded
With what we wanted - our destination.

Our destination, may be, far, far away,
Inch by inch, bit by bit, but we move.
Must not withdraw without being afraid,
All the obstacles, surely, will nature remove.

In the course of our struggle we might be alone,
We may lose hope if we lose aiming at the goal.
Moving and marching, aiming and advancing,
Will make up our mind and strengthen our soul.

Out in the world, tales tell us, those who sleep
They neither reach anywhere, nor get anything.
And those who keep on moving, though tortoise,
Always win the race and victorious songs sing.

We must not afraid, of fortune or fate,
Keeping in our mind, it favoures the brave.
"Despair is dangerous", must be our motto,
Success goes to them, who keep on and crave.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

God Must Not Exist

With all the sorrow in the world,
And horrors that persist,
The fact that evil things occur,
Says God must not exist.

I see planes flown into buildings,
And bombs on crowded trains,
I see children raped and murdered,
Not finding their remains.

There are crooked politicians
Vying to take control,
There are priests who serve the body
And do not feed the soul.

There are people who are starving,
Who suffer on our streets.
The environment is dying,
A cycle that repeats.

So I climbed the highest building,
Screamed at God above,
I asked, why won’t you do something,
If you’re a God of love?

Then the skies began to darken,
Lightning bolts crashing down,
As I looked I saw an Angel
With a sword and a crown.

He bade me to cease my groaning,
My complaints had been heard.
And he had been charged with a task:
Delivering God’s word.

I listened as he spoke to me,
His voice was so serene,
He revealed to me the reason
Why God won’t intervene.

He said, the evils in this world,
Result from our free will.
It is man who makes the choices,
To steal, deceive, or kill.

And if God were to intervene,
We wouldn’t have a choice.
No freedom left to make mistakes,
No questions, and no voice.

The only choices we would make,
Would come from God above.
You’d have no say in what you do,
Or even who you love.

Like fish in an aquarium
Unable to be free.
For they’ve never had the option,
To gaze upon the sea.

Is this what you are longing for?
Shall He grant it for you?
Would you like the Lord to decide
The things you say and do?

I pondered what the Angel said,
Until I understood.
There’s a price to pay for freedom,
Knowing evil and good.

It’s our responsibility,
Our range of choice is broad.
But if we choose the darker path,
We must stop blaming God!

He would not chart that course for you,
He grieves each time you lose.
But He allows your destiny,
To be the one you choose.

With that, I watched the storm subside,
The skies began to clear;
As the last words the Angel spoke,
Rang loudly in my ear.

“You may choose to heed my counsel,
Or disregard my voice.
The grace of God is found within
The fact you have that choice.”

I Must Not Taste Your Tears

I know the bitterness
Of your soul,
I must not taste your tears-
To know.

It is clear in your weary-
Beautiful eyes,
And more scary-
To me you become when you put on the mask of smiles.

I must not feel-
The dampness of your pillow-
To know your heart was the kill-
Of sorrow.

Its a battle for a throne-
Between angels and demons.
I need not see smoke nor pick a bone-
On the battle field nor hear shooting guns.

I set my canoe adrift-
On the flooding water of your tears.
I paddle to your abode the pace of a swift.
As a love drunk amour deaf to the cries of his fears.

O that you will melt on my shoulder-
Emotions molten in a great heat-
My obliging soul let your anguish smoulder.
Do not go to the cave of your thighs to have your face concealed.

I curse my idle hands-
Each time I watch your tears-
Your troubled cheeks caress
With jealousy so bizarre-
I burn my hankerchief with a stare-
For a stolen chance to care.

You are not weeping-
Laughter is only sweeping.
You are not crying-
Laughter is only purifying-Her golden vessel with a rough sponge so hurting.

O! let time do the telling-
Of the dark metamorphosis of night to morning.

Premium Member We Must Not Wait

Why aren't words spilled, have voices stilled?
Our protest songs barely a squeak.
Have we grown inured to a hateful world,
now rest on our laurels, so to speak.

Does a hate virus pour an infectious spore,
allowing cacophony to poison the truth?
Words need to be aired, and honesty shared
if for nothing else, to rescue our youth.

Teens' past recalls Saturdays cruising Mall
But now they fear gunshots will ring out
A walk at night among star-filled quiet,
is a peace we can now seldom bring about.

We shudder with disgust with days we can't trust,
our children feel unsafe when at school.
Many lives have been lost, at terrible cost
Do we remember the Golden Rule?

"Love thy neighbor as thyself" no longer on shelf,
The book, "Love Thyself" is best seller, easily instilled.
Houses, drugs, money blown, more and more to own,
while some children sleep with their tummy never filled.

Drugs have become a game, our nation in shame.
Why is it legal for celebrities to imbibe?
Their noisy abuse keeps drug lanes in use,
while their friendly doc will gladly prescribe.

Words are our swords; truth cannot be ignored:
a powerful word often determines fate.
Lessons to teach, the whole world to reach.
for Earth and Humankind, we must not wait!

Love To Lust: Love That Must Not Last

Love heals.
Lust kills.
Love is affection.
Lust is infection.

Love starts a goal.
Lust ends it all.
Love results fusion.
Lust leads to separation.

True love lasts.
Fake love- lust.
Love’s end product is us.
Lust’s end product is dust.

Love is god.
Lust is bad.
Love to lust:
Love that must not last.

I Must Not Kill Your God, I Swear

Do you know what God you have?

Do you know what God you need?

Have you tried to find your God?

Have you got anyone?

How is he or she?

If you know, describe.

If you not, hear from me.

Only the person who can find

A God for you is a creative writer.

Our Children Must Not Be Lost

In shadows dark, a warning I must weave,
Of a predator whose presence makes hearts grieve.
A topic grave, a tale of caution, I implore,
To raise awareness, to keep innocence secure.

Beware, dear souls, the menace known as a pedophile,
Whose intentions cruel seek to defile,
The tender hearts and fragile trust of youth,
An abhorrent act, a breach of sacred truth.

They lurk in shadows, wearing a deceptive guise,
Charming smiles and false, alluring cries,
A web they spin, with cunning and deceit,
To lure the unsuspecting into their sordid heat.

Their targets, the innocent, pure and small,
Their vulnerability the predator does enthrall,
Manipulating kindness, gaining trust with guile,
They prey on the innocent, leaving scars that will compile.

Children, dear children, listen to this plea,
Stay vigilant, be cautious, stay safe and free,
If someone makes you uncomfortable, or violates your space,
Trust your instincts, find help, reach a safe place.

Parents, guardians, protectors of the young,
Educate, empower, ensure your voices are sung,
Teach them boundaries, self-worth, and respect,
So they may recognize danger and swiftly deflect.

Communities united, let us raise our voice,
Expose the darkness, let the truth rejoice,
Report suspicions, stand against this vile crime,
For every child deserves a life sublime.

In the battle against this wicked threat,
We must remain steadfast, never forget,
To keep our children sheltered, cherished, and free,
For their innocence is a treasure, a sacred decree.

So, let us unite, raise awareness high,
Against the dangers that make children cry,
In the name of love, protection, and care,
Let us ensure their safety, everywhere.

Life Must Not Be Lived In Haste

As I fly away through broken dreams
The reins pull fiercly at my grip
For everything is not what it seems
As these words pass by mothers lip
She gives me all her words of wise
promises me them I must use
As my journey takes me to the skies
All I have learnt I must now disuse
For all those broken dreams
Were only waiting to be chased
I open my mind to my supreme
Life must not be lived in haste

The Show Must Not Go On

Dark and mischievous clouds of deceit hang over the palace of the pharaoh's
The people once again 'in their 'droves gather 'call out and speak what has been placed into their tired and abused souls .

The uncaring potential rulers each wear a wry smile ,
Trying their best not to let utter contempt for the people shine through.

The spectacle begins with music that is supposed to show these dark creatures in a shadow of in-common.

Frantic Calls for hate and war too continue along with false hope are thrown out by these mesmerisers like bread to the hungry .

Famished these people are for change and release from their bondage.
The repeated re-shackling of themselves willingly 'by themselves has beaten them down into complete blind submission.

Their faith in the old gods without any care of consequence was given up in exchange for gold long ago .
pharaoh's from past and present have 'and continue to give their gleeful blessings at this evil and wicked truth .

The stage is set and the people in total trance as these two demons begin to square up to one another 'repeatedly asking for their captives trust, whilst spitting reasons as why not trust the other .

Through the window of the palace 'looking upon this deceitful showing
Is pure evil 'awaiting the out come of Either way .
As before and so shall be again the people will dutifully demand their freedom and rights taken away through fear and trickery 'He then shall step back in 'and make it as such .

Under his Dictates 'The newly elected pharaoh shall continue to lead and command these people away from the light 'but yet ever further into the cold darkness of hopelessness and despair .

It is now time to awake 'and walk away from that Demonic showing ,
for the good of all and that of 'freedom sake ,

And so mote it be .

I Must Not End This Story With a Happy Ending

I must not end this story
with a happy ending as many
stories that are written for money;
I have come to the conclusion
that I must not end this story
and enhance it with allusion!
My story began two summers ago
when the enchanting blueness of the August sky
was as vast as the serene sea below;
in November leaves change colors
bringing shivers down my spine,
I started to show some sadness,
yes, it announced its imminent and final goodbye!

I must not end this story
with a happy ending
to please none other than me,
because it's a real victory
being fair and exposing
any truth that the writer
may omit for monetary gains,
or for a conviction, he thinks
it's plausible and self-explanatory;
never conceal your guilt through fear,
and protect it from inner threats...
when conscience reverts to anger!

I led a very obscure existence,
shunning gestures of amicability,
not trusting in their sincere intent;
I went in the opposite direction
instead of embracing their trust;
my train derailed and went off its tracks,
I found myself alone and hurt
nullifying my invincibility as that man
who knocked down walls and intimidated minds...
all in all, it lessened my confidence
in strength and refusing to hear woeful sounds
of reprimanding and utter shame...
nobody heard my lamentations, I felt so lame
and fragile while my convictions
became opinions that meant little or nothing!

I must not end this story
with a happy ending
to meet the requirements
dictated by a distorted society
that praises thugs and villains,
and despises the virtues of heroes;
I must not end this story
and be acclaimed for my infamy
that will restrict the joy of living!

I Must Not Have Noticed (Maybe I Didn'T Want To)

(You have stolen my heart again)

I don’t know how it
happened
when I was
busy saying goodbye
from the last time you left
you must have slipped through the
back door
with that smile of yours
(oh that smile)
I must not have noticed.

Maybe I didn’t want to.

Because I know
It’s all part of that game
we play
I chase, you
run you chase, I run
And so the minute I turn around
you will be gone again

(and I will frame your smile
and hang it on my wall
to gaze at over breakfast.)

(and you will tuck my heart in your
pocket for safekeeping.)

Premium Member While Death Waits, We Must Not

Like it or not, or try to will it away.
Death is directed to come our way.
It's unavoidable; so none need be dismayed.
It's coming whether we meditate or medicate.

It's not our fault or because we chose to stray.
On occasions, there might be a slight delay,
depending on God's mercy and if we pray.
But while death often waits, we must not.

Allow me an attempt to explain it this way.
So often, when we hear the footsteps of death
coming our way, we grieve and weep, or fear and tear.
I tell you, life is meant to be lived and shared to the end.

Whatever in life we were designed to be or do, let's be/do it.
Let's share that God-Gift while we can for as long as we can.
If it's something we cannot do physically, let's teach others how.
Let's not take our God-Talent to the grave, but use it; give it away.

We all have been challenged in some way, or given bitter herbs.
Whatever our lot in life, we and our lot matter to God and the world.
There's room enough on the stage of life, for you, me, they, and them.
Yesterday is gone; tomorrow may never come. Let's be/do it today!
