Premium Member A Sad Tale You May Want To Skip

True stories are often the saddest, so go to another poem if you
are afraid of this one.
Seventy-five years ago a Mommy died leaving a boy of two
with her husband, a farmer.
The husband was a father, but no Daddy;
he plopped the motherless child in an orphanage.
But refused to relinquish his rights, even though several
families wanted to adopt the toddler.

The toddler grew up in the orphanage, and reached the
sad age of fourteen, one of the few to do this.
When he was fourteen, his father came by and picked him
up to go home which was his right.
He did not recognize his father who was harsh,
and as you can see, not a fair or nice man.
With a father like this is it any wonder the child
had difficulty at school and got into many a fight?

As soon as he was able, the toddler-orphanage-lost-fighter-child
joined the service and left the state.
The service was terrific for him, he knew how to share a room,
and live in a bunk bed, second classed.
The man who told me this story explained
that this lost child was his father, but he never spoke of this.
Not wanting his family to know what a horrible life he had as a child.
His children who adored him learned of it after he passed.

He was the kindest, most gentle father in the world,
my friend told me. He always hugged us.
He could not tell us that he loved us enough.
He said it so many times it embarrassed my mother,
But it pleased my older sister, and me, and of course,
my one and only brother, Big Maddy.
The man who told me this story had tears in his eyes
for that little boy, his own sweet neglected Daddy.

City of the Bean People and Giantvillism: the Yellow Orange

It is crop time in Beantown.
The people of the City have the seeds to plant.
Their best harvest is the orange that is yellow.
Jake Castle is a great farmer.
His wife, Nefreda Maria, is one of the conservators.
Their yellow orange yields a greater harvest.

The children of Beantown are full of excitement.
They are the ones that florae.
This year is hyperactive because six years have passed.
The yellow orange is now in vegetation.
Once picked, the seeds are replanted
making the next garnering even more fulfilling.

This year Jake has a plan.
He will visit Giant’s land to plant the yellow orange to grow afar.
He desires the experience of a different crop.
He knows the rich soil of Giantvillism will bring forth a larger fruitage.
This is an ultimate gain to a more endowed yield.
Therein, the next six years will culminate in both places.

Once the harvesting was completed in Beantown,
Jake journeys to Giant’s sphere of influence.
His bag of seeds was his gift to the Land of the Big People.
Giant of the Big People embrace Jake
while Maddy shouted “A hearty hello to Jake.”
Tomorrow they will scatter the seeds of the yellow orange.

Six years later…

Beantown sings as the yellow orange gleams
in the photosynthesis of the sun.
Every family harvested their fruit and
people from other realms travel to purchase the fruition.
Beantown economy flourishes.

In Giantvillism, Giant harvest was grandiose.
The yellow orange fruition was up to
twice the size of Beantown’s fruitage.
Jake and Nefreda along with their three children journeyed afar
bringing back seeds of Giant’s yellow orange to grow in Beantown.
The next six years will make all very proud.

But for now, Beantown wealth is the show stopper.
All over talks about how those people of little means
     henceforth a world of meaning.

Giant and Maddy of the Big People Stone

GIANT AND MADDY OF THE BIG PEOPLE

Productive people on the go.
The Big People are God’s formidable soldiers exploring the world.
Never do we fear what is to come.
A better tomorrow is what we aim for.
Heights elevated more and more.
We seek to be enriched from our struggles.
Not a feeble mind involved with the strength of Samson and the strife of Goliath.

Fecund in farming and prolific to our verse, canonically we will write.
Elevated from summits we have achieved, we continue to aspire.
We are fortified through our wants and desires, therefore, our language is fulfilled.
Our nation is contented.
The pleasures given by God are the amenities.
May peace be with us throughout as the past becomes distant in ways of thinking?
Our carnage has ended.
Likewise, bountiful is sentimental.
We offer all the same peaceful existence.
This is the world of Giantvillism.

Productive people on the go.
The Big People are God’s formidable soldiers exploring the world.
Never do we fear what is to come.
A better tomorrow is what we aim for.
Heights elevated more and more.
We seek to be enriched from our struggles.
Not a feeble mind involved with the strength of Goliath and the strife of Samson.
This is the world of Giantvillism.

The Adventures of Wizard Herpolits

THE ADVENTURES OF WIZARD HERPOLITS

A magical bliss and a fist of wits
Sprung from Herpolits.
As a Warlock, he loved to nature walk.
He would discover Jake’s beanstalk.

On this very day, he ventured and climbed.
And, when he top, he rested to unwind.
Several minutes he took and then he rose.
He stood bare feet and decides to put his shoes on.

He begins to think aloud in speech.
A spell he song.
His voice being discrete
While he pulls out his magical wand.

"She stuck her finger in the sky and all the stars shook out.”
The beanstalk I climb is spooked no doubt.
With my rod, I am spellbound.
To discover this world Jake Castle found.

Herpolits would journey afar
To quite a different end of Giantvillism.
Herbert (Giant) and Maddy of the Big People Stone knew Wizard Herpolits climbed
Jake’s beanstalk.
They well wait patiently to see how far he ventures.

An Introduction of Nefreda Maria Castle of the Bean People

AN INTRODUCTION OF NEFREDA MARIA CASTLE OF THE BEAN PEOPLE

I am Nefreda Maria Castle of the Bean People.
Today, I feel appease and pleased by the peace I see in Giantvillism.
Giant and Maddy are an ordered paired in harmony in that they are structuring a meaningful world.
My husband, Jake, and my children; Jake. Jr., Nefreda Marie, and Joseph, and I have travelled afar to this beautiful existence beyond.
We bring unity in the belief of what the future holds for all of us.
Therefore, we are prepared for the troubles that confront us and we are armed to protect and defend each home front.

Nefreda Maria begins to sing…

A SELF-IMAGE

I am a lifespan.
I am a journey partook.
I am woman.
I am the light and the truth.
Within destiny, I strive for meaning and peace.
I am a schema of thorough belief -
A base of knowledge that breathes discovery.
I am life now and I am here to acclaim my own.
Imminently, I frame.
I am a niche in a divided space.
Proclamation of the existence of personal recourse –
I am a voice, a look, and an expression.
I am a Bean person.

In years to come and not beyond that, life will span.
The future I am not.
I am here to create a better tomorrow.
My destiny has not been perceived.
I am my creator.
Life formed for meaning.
Peace is an ideology.
I am a lifespan that endures.
I rather be rich than poor.
I am a self-image by the way I live.

Life is only a span of time.
The future is infinite.
I am here as I am now.
Bean people are limited.
Many bridges will be crossed.
Life formed to structure.
Within this medium, my life spans.
I am proclaiming my own.
My niche is well-defined.
I am a self-image refined.

Jake Castle S - the Thrill of Things

JAKE CASTLE’S - THE THRILL OF THINGS

Characterized by routine or superficiality, his mouth was full of draught when he spoke unthinkingly.
Awry was his eyes as he told of events that had transpired.
He laughed aloud with his audience.
This was Friday and Jake Castle was the life of the party.
As always, he had a song to share.
His wife Nefreda Maria Castle patiently sit as Jake begin to sing “The Thrill of Things”.
********************************************************************
This is the City that develops the mind.
This is the City that cultivates and design.
A world of culture that has been found.
We are the thrill of things profound.
This is the mountain that we have climbed.
Over the top and back down.
We are the suppliers of our way.
We are the thrill of things each day.
Over there is a faraway place.
I discovered just yesterday.
Took my sack of nutriments as well as my confidence.
Unearthed new ideas as well as civilization.
The thrill of things and a great nation stood over seven feet tall.
Giantvillism this place is called.
Now, here in Beantown we explore.
All will meet Giant and Maddy if they visit our world.
Much ado we have done.
Our stories are always forthcoming.
We are the thrill of things and they are also beyond.
This is a wonderful day.
This is a Beantown's escape to our favorite thingamajigs.
Plus, the thrills this gives are magnanimously felt.
All enjoy the revelry.
The thrill of things happens in Beantown accordingly.

Thank You Miss Maddy

THANK YOU MISS MADDY

Maddy baked some cookies,
She shared a few with us.
When we took a little taste
We got a full flavor rush.

For hidden in those cookies
Buried away down deep
We found some flavor chips
A great big giant heap.

There were many different kinds
A virtual rainbow of rich flavors.
Each one seemed a favorite
My sweet tooth often savors.

But have I mentioned the size
Of these tasty, giant hub caps.
You can’t eat a whole one
Or they’ll begin to play taps.

We found it best to break it up
Sharing each one with a friend
Or you might simple burst
Before you reach its end.

So here’s a “Hats off”
To our new family cook.
If she keeps this up,
I’ll need my belt to unhook.

Thank you Miss Maddy
For sharing them with us.
As you practice techniques.
You’ll make extra, we trust. :o)

Bedding Down With Bigfoot

Hey, I've got me a plan to survive World War Three
And it doesn't involve living deep in the sea
With a mermaid named Maddy from that '80s movie
Or a grey-skinned E.T. hoping to crossbreed with me.

There's a bunch of big blokes known as Bigfoot to some
And they live in the woods where most humans won't come
Though they've entered our culture as the years have gone by
They are still seen as legends and old myths, that's no lie.

See, in spite of their fur and their size they're quite smart
For their fondest desire is to live well apart
From us primates who ravage the Earth without pause
Like the virus that spreads through its host - just because.

Called by Yeti and Sasquatch and still other things
They refer to themselves as "Jemah" and are beings
Who, unlike the poor bipeds that include me and you,
Can converse without speech, like our pets often do.

Though the tallest are known to have grown to nine feet
And they stink like old garbage, not to mention dead meat
I shall fashion my life on this heavenly lathe;
I'll make Sweet Thing my wife, and I won't have to bathe.

The Providentiality of Farming In Giantvillism - Page 2

The Providentiality of Farming in Giantvillism (Continued)

Jake: Make sure the crop is irrigated Giant.
Giant: That means make sure we provide water to each acre?
Jake: Yes.
Maddy: Would you stay for another two days to help us develop a plan?
Jake: Yes, my plan was to stay at least 8 days to ensure you know all the ends and outs of farming.
Giant: Well, let’s get something to eat and we can begin our discussion, once our dinner is consumed.
*******
Dinner was ingested and discussion therein took place.
An irrigation system would be placed in the southwest of the Village by way of small canals.
The first canal would be built in three days if all goes well.
All the Village would be involved in constructing these dams of blocks mortared and also loosely piled rocks.
Haphazard flooding would happen, but controlled water was more often.
There would be fifty-seven (57) small canals or storage dams completed.
Jake would stay to make sure that the Village people was well-schooled by knowing the blueprint and design.
He would begin his journey home on day nine (9).

The Love of Our Two Cats

Sammie and Pepper are like our children to us
Their bright eyes are so expressive with much love and trust
So many years ago I just never did know
About the deep love of a cat and my impressions were low
But I was just a young man during those growing years
Gettiing over some rough spots and so many fears
As life has continued to mould me and I became a cat daddy
At my more mature age I even baby sit our daughters cats, Cody and Maddy
So, every now and then their are four cats in the house
We are honored to have them all, me and my spouse
We are now very much cat lovers and so very proud and happy
We are greeted whenever we come in the door, loving mommy and pappy
They both rub against our legs and look up with inquiring bright eyes
Where you both been? Did you bring us a surprise?
And we always do bring them something to enjoy
A goodie to eat and perhaps a little mouse toy
Just wanted to tell the world how wonderful it is to be in love
With these furry Gods creatures so delightfully created in heaven above

.why the Cow Goes Moo.

The cow goes moo
when he's taking a poo
then he says boo hoo.
cause it just sits there
and hangs.
then it slowly slides out.

Premium Member my best friend Joe

my best friend knows my stories, has my back, laughs with me
He and I share two dogs, they are our babies, Maxie and Maddy
We are silly enough to call ourselves their mommy and daddy
Been together for fifty-seven years, my best friend and me

My best friend misses me when I am gone, which is a rarity.
We are evenly matched in wit and wisdom, in complete parity.
My friend and I both have hazel eyes and dark hair, but I dye mine.
We take turns napping now, because babies want one up all the time.

There are so many reasons that I love my best friend, impossible to choose.
He knows me better than anyone else; can find anything I misplace or lose.
Knows what foods to buy, so he does the grocery shopping.
He also does the laundry, this man is a dynamo who is forever hopping.

We can finish each other’s sentences,
so claim we are redundant all the time.
I guess the best thing about my best friend
is that since 1968 he has been mine.
