he tells her he loves her as he kicks her across the floor. she's lying there, curled up
in a ball, wondering if this is all,she will ever deserve. she goes to the store,to buy
the kids some milk and juice, but its no use,at the counter she realizes that her
money is gone,he's out spending in on beer for all of his friends. when she gets
home, she finds that he's not alone.theres a woman who says he's her man! she
looks dazed, she's amazed at the events that came next. she went to the bedroom
and picked up his gun. this girl thats never hurt no one. she took his life first, and
then she looked the other woman right into her eyes, started to cry,put the gun to
her own head,said goodbye...she died.
Once I knew a woman worth waiting for.
We met along the way.
Once I knew a woman worth living for.
And we met along the way.
Once I knew a woman worth loving.
She was there, along the way.
Once, but she has long since gone now
And I lost her,
Along the way.
The boogeyman is real!
Not under my bed but in it
This woman is nuts, I'm done with it
But I gotta plan it better this time
Cause she almost killed me last time
Tried leaving her before, but I wouldn't be heard
She nearly shot my manhood like a small bird
Time before that I ran all the way to another state
She followed me there , we bumped into each other as if it were fate
I'm scared!
I am a man, but theres only so much i could take
the woman is a succubus for chrissake
I should call the cops , but another bone of mine will break
She walked in and said "You leaving me?"
I said no, she smelled the lie and pointed a gun at me
We fought for the arm of fire
Then a huge gust of fire
Blew from the weapon
She's dead!
What do I do? I repeatedly said
Frantically I put her in a box
Laid her under my mattress
A tear I did shed
Only of Happiness though, now the boogeyman is under my bed
It's been a year since you broke my heart
I'm no longer the woman you once knew
Since the day you left me
I haven't been the same
Turning towards drugs
To relieve this pain
No matter what I do
This heartache won't go away
When we were together
Everything seemed so right
I truly believed you were the one
But you were the one
To break my heart beyond repair
When I was with you
My days were filled with love
Now it's filled with emptiness
I take a hit from this crystal pipe
Perhaps tomorrow I will do a few lines
Everyday smoke a bowl to mellow out
Snort a few pills every now and then
Once you were my rock, my anchor
That kept me grounded
Now I'm free to float wherever
If you were to pass me on the street
You would only see a shell
Of the woman I once was
For you took the best of me
The day you said good-bye
Poet's note: I had written this poem about 5 years ago
How do you tell the woman that you love?
The woman that always fitted you like a glove
Your lover, your friend and your confident
How do you tell her of your discontent?
How do you tell the woman for whom you care?
That you are no longer in love with her
The woman you love but no longer desire
Kind and caring but unable to light your fire
How do you tell the woman that you love?
The woman that always fitted you like a glove
Where do you begin? Where do you start?
How do you tell her and not break her heart?
