Pay No Attention To the Man Behind the Curtain

Blissfully ignorant and supine,
Lost in the economy line,
voters don’t have a clue
that liberty is through.
Apathy dictates all else is fine.
People keep telling me how foolish I am,
but frankly I don’t give a dam.
I’m going to tell you what I see.
You don’t have to agree with me.
In hatred’s name Moslems prayed at the mosque,
boarded planes and three thousand we lost,
Soon we elected a Moslem president,
his books words and actions self evident.
To prove he was islam’s extremist hero,
He allowed a triumphant mosque at ground zero,
Freedom of religion is what they subtly called it,
by a government that continues to overhaul it.
The American people look on as if still numb,
singing his praises as if deaf and dumb,
while a pseudo democratic uncle Sam,
in a forced health care plan,
continues to turn out liberty’s lights
by destroying other religion’s rights.
Thus the American people’s democracy,
is morphed into a dictatorial hypocrisy.
While blindsided by a frantic economy,
we apathetically lose our autonomy.
Allowed by deaf and blind voters in a loud voice,
Fooled by not freedom but license they call choice,
sly appointment of people who fulfill the plan,
A long range one by the “new” Uncle Sam.
a champion of abortion, killing future contenders
him and Herod; another of the great pretenders.
“Enlightened Americans have one point two children per family,
because of abortion, birth control and contraception
Moslems have seven; which is the anomaly?
We Americans treat babies as an infection.
Laugh if you wish; I’m just exposing the path,
You “enlightened” Americans: you do the math.

Life Is What You Make It

I've been around a lotta years!
I've traveled the road of life!
I've had many, many, ups and downs,
times of joy, and grief, and strife!

I've tried my best, to keep looking ahead,
but on occassion, I'd pause to reflect!
I call upon, hard lessons learned,
to attain the results, that I expect!

I tried to shape my future,
from transgressions, I've endured.
I kept my "best foot forward",
in hopes my success, would be assured!

Mistakes are part of living,
they're part of who we are.
Yes, life can be bewildering
and sometimes quite bizarre!

It's how we react when troubled!
How we handle times of stress,
that determines what will happen
and if we will, attain success!

The Power of Positive Thinking
is the key to getting thru!
Wheather or not, you attain your goal,
is strictly up to you!

Intestional Fortitude, is what it takes,
to help create your aspirations!
It will give the courage and strength you need,
to reach your long-range expectations!

So, be assertive and determined!
Don't let doubt, get in your way!
Life is what you make it,
what more is there to say!

Tiptoe

Tiptoe, tiptoe, what they say is not what they say it is . . .

Cameras rolling, take one, action!
“How stupid can you be? You’re fired!”
He told a judge quite candidly.

In take two, from his office on Fifth Avenue,
He tweeted, “Nobody has more respect
For women than I do.”

On take three
During a press conference,
“We’ll blow terrorist Al-Baghdadi
Out of existence.”

Then he stood, saluted the flag, and
Ordered General “Mad Dog” to protect the land.

Tiptoe, tiptoe, what they say is not what they say it is . . .

They say Doomsday is coming,
Polar caps are melting,
An asteroid just missed us today
Iranians want a bomb
To explode in Armageddon,
And North Korea tested
A long-range missile yesterday.

Both sides are wrong...

Beware, or pay dearly,
To the victor belongs the spoils,
For in the land of the free and
Home of the braves,
A new boss man's in town

Fake news on display...bad men raining down

Tiptoe, tiptoe, what they say is not what they say it is . . .

The boss is riding, guns ablaze, shooting at the sun,
Stirring up flames all across America, Russia, and China—
The whole world’s wondering, who's this character?

Wake up and smell the coffee!

Republicans say,
“He's the forty-fifth President today,
Top dog in Washington,
Who can activate the nuclear bomb.”

With the greatest memory around... A double negative caused the problem

He says America will be great again
Then placed a ban on Muslims coming in.
He made it clear to Peña Nieto,
Bad hombres must go,
That a wall on the border
Will stop the illegal immigrant flow

Where is the server and 50,000 emails~ Russia do you know?

Tiptoe, tiptoe, what they say is not what they say it is…

My Hero

He feared not his death,
because he came to know well,
Him who gave us all life’s breath.
He worked at his goal,
taking life’s problems in stride,
Humility was in him.

I remember him
smiling, laughing and patient,
as generous as could be,
adoring his wife,
happy for her attention,
Respectful of his children.

I was glad to be,
a part of that family,
even though for a short time.
I was too young then
to understand what Love is.
He showed me, I’m glad to say.

A real team player,
encouraging and docile,
Bedtime found him on his knees.
Joe knew his business,
and set reachable short goals,
His long range goal was heaven.

Premium Member Revisiting the Rock

I have always felt myself extremely blessed to have found myself a wife
who believes very little is needed to make a happy life.

Before you think she doesn’t mean it, that it’s just idle talk
she has it perched upon our kitchen counter…painted on a rock.

After 25 (now 35) years of marriage…a marriage not at all routine
let me take a minute to show you what she means.

It’s listening when the other person talks and hearing what they say.
It’s a card to say I love you at the end of a bad day.

It’s a little gift that’s given when there’s no reason for a gift.
just to say the words I love you or to give her day a lift.

It’s a drive through the countryside with a picnic in the back.
It’s making pancakes for dinner and sharing one large stack.

It’s reaching something on the top shelf when Deborah is unable
It’s the family gathered for a short time around the kitchen table.

It’s sharing laughter, stories and joy with our children and grandchildren too
and smiling in contentment when the evening’s joy is through.

It’s enjoying our family together and creating new memories…new heirlooms
It’s holding hands, stealing a kiss or a smile across a room.

It’s the sharing of our deepest fears, our long range hopes and wishes
It’s one person doing the cooking while the other does the dishes

It’s a surprise call in the middle of the day just to hear her voice
It’s being together when you’re both sorrowful or when you both rejoice

It’s watching a romantic movie with a little popcorn on the side
It’s remembering all the reasons you chose her as your bride.

It’s that feeling of falling in love for the first time…then
falling in love with that same person…over and over again

Yes very little is needed to make a happy life is not just idle talk
It’s the little things that make life…and love….as solid as a rock.

Strike

"The Industrial Revolution!"
It is the workers' cry,
Who'd rather earn their bread each day
And plan their lives and save their pay,
Than lie and steal and die.

"The Industrial Revolution!"
It is the bosses' song,
Who'd rather teach the willing man
To shape the world with his own hand,
Than 'plain of social wrong.

"The Industrial Revolution!"
Consumers lively shout,
When they can buy what greets their eye---
A sovereign wing that sweeps them high---
Than trudge along and pout.

"O Industrial Revolution,"
Great poets glad declaim,
"You've put man into motion,
You've moved him up to fame,
And Poetry is happier
With lightbulb than with flame."

"The Industrial Revolution!"
The politicians chime,
"Makes honesty a virtue now,
No kings around to hurt you now;
In fact, a king's a crime!"

"The Industrial Revolution!"
Proud businessmen declare,
"Means longer health and greater wealth,
And finer chance of high romance,
Than only low-life 'share'."

The Industrial revolution
Made industry a smile,
That men who think and do their best,
And send their thoughts on long-range quest,
May wear a long long while.

The Industrial revolution!
Now, everybody, cheer!
Strike fires in you for all things new!
Strike truth to where you're going to!
Strike! for your life is here!

Premium Member Putins Blackmail

Grain, oil and gas from Russia; we must find other ways
To ensure that the unhinged war criminal, Vladimar Putin pays
They want sanctions lifted and they'll free up grain from Ukraine
Seems like the sanctions are at last working and inflicting pain.

Many poorer countries in the world rely on the exported grains
But it's stuck in ports because of mines, in the shipping lanes
The whole civilised world, and the United nations need to act
Or people in poor countries will die of hunger, and that is a fact.

Vladimar Putins empty threat is nothing more than a lie
He tells the west to jump up and the west asks how high
The west's response to Vlad Putin needs to move up a gear
Or he and his cronies will be thinking, we're cowering in fear.

I urge the civilised world leaders to send weapons at any cost
Or the Ukrainians will be overrun and their territory lost
Zelensky is pleading for long range rockets, to defend his land
To help drive out the invaders and give Ukraine the upper hand.

Russia is desperately recruiting men at home, to join their army
And have upped the age limit to enlist, to claim some sort of victory
Pensioners with guns you'll soon see who are ready to croak
The once thought invincible Russian army, is nothing but a joke.

Darkfall Posts a New Preview of the Battle-Brand Role

Fire School is in session! Aventurine has released a new video that shows off the skills of one aspect of Darkfall Unholy Wars' Elementalist role, and casters and and pyros-at-heart will enjoy a look into the Fire Mage. Feel like swimming through a bubbling lake of lava? Cast a self-buff and dive right in! Like to lob flaming balls at others and watch them catch fire? Then Fire Mage is the class for you!

Like its name implies, this particular mage uses an arsenal of fiery tricks to best opponents. The class focuses on medium- to long-range combat and incorporates knockbacks and area effects into many of the spells. For a demonstration of Dragonbreath, Magma Bomb, Heat Stroke, and other skills, check out the sizzling video after the break.

You should know your role in Darkfall Unholy Wars. After all, your role determines a lot of what you're capable of doing at any given time, so it's pretty important. The newest development blog on the game gives a preview of one of the updated re-release's new roles for the Warrior, the defensive school known as the Battle-Brand. This is not a role for going out and making people miserable; this is a role for ruining the days of those trying to make you miserable.

The Battle-Brand's abilities include two self-buffs to reduce magical damage taken and reflect a portion of damage taken back to the source. It also features Foebringer, an AoE pull for all nearby enemies, and Bandage, a self-healing spell to keep the Warrior up longer. Last but not least is the ultimate ability, Stoic Defense, which makes the Warrior entirely immune to damage for a short time while consuming mana and stamina. Take a look at the role's abilities in action in a preview video just past the cut.

Fallen Heroes

You remember fallen heroes who died in
the first and second world wars
Fighters were united and fought above
 political, tribal and racial grounds
Brought forth peace and freedom
 which we enjoy
Hence, do not water down their efforts
 and encourage unneccessary wars
Preserve peace and pray against
 rumours of wars
Caananites were conquered
 due to their undesirable mentality
To the Almighty and surrounding
  nations
Israelites were engaged into battlefieLd
 to get rid of enemies
Israelites acted well in repelling enemies
and did not sit with hands crossed when faced
 by attacks
and enemies that came within range
  were slain
Actually ISRAEL of old defended civilians and their
 property from harm and danger
Nowadays appetite for new disputes have
 sparked latest surge in violence
Mostly the essence of war is over
 trivial matters
Escalation in tensions among nations is
 an going phenomena

DAILY:In military labs creating various kinds
 of fixed, mobile, tactical
 long-range radars and roadside bombs,
automatic rifles and airborne electronic surveillance
 systems,unmanned aircraft, missiles
and artillery systems, mortars and rockets;
FOR MASS DESTRUCTION-KILLING INNOCENT PEOPLE:
killing civilians in aerial and ground bombardments__
and luck ones fleeing the most appalling persecutions
    and bloodshed!

The Coming Invasion

Contemplating world condition
  seems like a science fiction.

Putin playing Dr. Strangelove
  long range bombers above.

Even America has a role
  some long ago foretold.

Now, Mars seems nice
  better than Earth's ice.

Nations rebuilding their military
  coming invasions look scary.

Even ISIL rapidly popped up
  causing more chaos to erupt.

The world stage is being set
  these catastrophic threats.

So, who is he
  we all hear to be?

Premium Member The Maple Tree

Cruel life that goes in diurnal circles,
Never a rest from the inexorable
Events that are flung onto our souls,
No one is ready to defy the unacceptable.

Still we bear the jabs, the tests, the surgery
Hoping to live a better and easy life,
Till better days arrive and we will sweat
As summer heats scorch and wish an end to strife.

A year I spent bedridden full of pain
And saw the sturdy maple tree change
Spring brings out its leaves, summer its fruit,
As seeds disperse in quite a long range
New saplings grow but the tree begins its death
Leaves take new color, an exquisite exchange,
But in the end death is inevitable as it is to all.
So I stay in my bed till time takes its toll.

Premium Member The Defeat of Shan Yu

The guards patrolled the Chinese wall
As they did every day
They did not pay much attention
Seems to be the usual way

A clink disturbs ones peaceful stroll
A three armed hook appears
Catches on the parapet
With one of its ears

The guards are so outnumbered
There is just one thing to do
Set alight the warning fires
For the coming of Shan Yu

In the Palace of the Emperor
Panic reigns supreme
The calm tones of the Emperor
Voice of reason it would seem

Send messengers out far and wide
Conscript or volunteer
Take one from each family
Then bring them all back here

One old decorated hero
Zhou from the clan of Fa
He was one could hardly walk
For sure below his par

His daughter Mulan took him home
She has another Fa in mind
Her father asks no questions
He is sure she's being kind

She goes alone into her room
Her tresses start to fall
She continues cutting til
There's not much left at all

Then dressing up in rough male clothes
The palace to attend
I am the volunteer from Fa
The only one they send

Mulan is not a boy's name
That will have to change
Ping is one she thinks of
From a quite restricted range

Li Shang leads them into battle
Takes them head on to the fray
Against the army of the Hun
That has got bigger every day

The small defending army
Uses rockets for long range
The advancing Hun just pours along
With very little change

Now Ping espies a mountain
With quite an overhang
She sends a rocket to explode
Start a landslide with the bang

Buries the attacking Hun
It seems the job is done
Then the worst thing happens as
They climb out one by one

First the horde attacks the Palace
Takes the Emperor in hand
Kill him and his leaders
Then spread throughout the land

There is only one can stop them
It is the girl Mulan
She needs to kill the great Shan Yu
In any way she can

She faces him with threat of sword
But just when she seems beat
A friend that has been helping her
Sends fireworks and heat

And so Mulan she saves the day
Everyone bows down
The Emperor gives her Shan Yu's sword
And his own medal of renown

She takes them to her father
After shock he feels at peace
The worry and frustration
He was buried in can cease

Five Arab Men

Five Arab Men

In the dead of night, asleep in my bed
Suddenly, upon a hill as bright as day
A vision before me, or am I misled

On this asphalt road,to the left, a tractor trailer stands
Waiting as if impatient
Cloisters, old fort on the right, playing of the bands

Down below, a city of black glass skyscrapers rise
As if by an artist hand, shooting into the sky
To stand beside this scene may not be wise

The front of the vehicle, watches over the city
And midway beside the machine, I stand
A lamb to the slaughter, do not pity

I must go, it is my destiny
Walk to cab of vehicle, five Arab sitting
As if waiting for a sign

Uneasy feeling taking hold of me
Hurry back some distance, still close
Step out , two men coming

Men look intensely in my direction
Overcome with fear, I stand my ground
Cannot see me, as a spirit in the night

Walk right through me, as if blind
Climb in vehicle, remove tarpaulin
A long-range ballistic missile, so unkind

Unhurried action, missile moves
Pointing to the sky
Must wake up, must not see what is yet to come

Premium Member Harbor Sludge Queen

Out of the bowels of Harrisburg
Comes a new woman on the scene
She's head of environmental pollution
She's known as the Harbor Sludge Queen
She's in charge of polluting our county
And putting the environment in a rut
While her boss, the infamous Mr. Ed
Has his nose buried in athlete's butt
It doesn't do any good to scream and holler
And our right to choose is naught
Please publish her picture in the newspaper
So we can see what corporate America just bought
We were told the sludge is beneficial
But no matter what you call it
The only place it's beneficial
Is to our politician's wallet
When your child asks you
Daddy, why is the grass so green
Tell him it won't be green for long
Thanks to the Harbor Sludge Queen
Their long range plan is simple
Pollute the mountains and all in between
Then buy the properties for nothing
Courtesy of the Harbor Sludge Queen.

Dedicated to the Department of Environmental Protection Who is allowing the
dumping of fly ash mixed with dredging from the New York Harbors to be
dumped in the unlined mine pits in our area. They are already responsible for the
death of Troy Behun, an 11 year old child and Daniel Pennock a 17 year old.
They've already spent the almost unlimited super fund money in Pennsylvania.
As with most government agencies, total incompetence and gross negligence
prevails.

An Ocean of Print

A view of the ocean of print

On the night sky over Australia, among thousands of stars
the dog of hell appeared, killing the Aboriginal men
but a woman of the tribe slaughtered the dog, the men
were spared, as the legend says.
A beautiful story if not told right, but the dream is true.
Is London becoming a murder capital of the West?
The article had the face of black youth; surely an incident
or is the writer trying to tell us something?
The newspaper relates news from the Ukraine war and tells
of a new long-range rocket capable of killing many Russians
A war blended with facts and downright lies to be expected
as we take sides in this conflict.
On a lighter note, the European Song Contest is upon us
I will continue not watching this colossal embarrassment
over this gay parade.
A sad note from the USA, where school shooting has become
A new war zone where the mad has the right to wear arms.
