Horizon After Horizon

I welcome change
For I realize this life as a journey
Travelling insinuates progress
Progress means change
...of scenery, of events, of climate

Everyday I search
Treading one small step in front of yet another step
Travelling in a world of discovery and understanding
Today I see in me more than I did yesterday

The more I forge forward
The more I am enlightened
Hence the more I improve

I change and upgrade my goals out of newer acumen
I discard my old values like worn out tyres
Thankful to them for having brought me this far
For the journey to continue
I must swiftly replace the worn tyres of old values
With the newly retreaded ones
...of newer, higher, and better values

Yesterday, this day was only an imagination
Today it is a reality,
But since I have attained it, shall I stop travelling?
Nay, that is against Nature’s Law

This horizon has enabled me to perceive
... a far more beautiful end which I couldn’t yesterday perceive
Nor could I ever have perceived it any way had I not travelled this far
To it I feel drawn
To it I feel summoned with urgency
To it I must let my destiny flow
To it I must ensure my efforts guide me
For in it must be the clue for my next thrill

Such is the nature of travel
Such is the nature of humans
And I am only human

We are born into a Utopian world where everything lives and let lives
Politeness and manners exist as society never lets sieve

We learn to live with our neighbours amidst colours that nature has born
Living well into our tomorrows without the fear of being war-torn

Prejudice has never been heard whilst cussing never nears our ears
To walk our streets at whenever, over our shoulder you will never fear, fears

When we are born into a Utopian world where everything lives and let lives
The reason this can all come about, is purely because everyone gives

We are born from a fallopian world where reasons dictate how we live
Politeness and manner exist, sadly society has allowed them to sieve

Many learn to live with their neighbours amidst colours of nature born
Some live into their tomorrows, many enter the doors of war-torn

Prejudice appears to be worsening, cussing appears the norm
Many are scared to walk our streets as many out there have form

When we are born from the fallopian world where reasons dictate how we live
We don't enter what we hope is Utopia, many take and rarely give

I look around and see animals and children play what a joy beyond belief. I felt the
gentle breeze blow to soothe and mend and bind. I just wanted to rest my tire mind I
saw the all smoothed and tilled. Nature saw my studied gaze and said “ENJOY ask not
where they come, nor why.” I saw the gorgeous picture clouds grow up and broaden
many shapes. I looked wondering at nature and nature looked across the sky. “WEEP if
you must for the things that have gone but ask not where they’ve gone nor why.”

True Values

I’ve lived a full three score and ten and seen a thing or two,
of life and death and love and hurt and pleasure.
Is it just age or memory that now distorts my view
of things that I believe mankind should treasure?

I have seen technology transform the world I’ve known,
with mobile phone and aeroplane and car
People are now valued by the property they own,
and not by what their like, or who they are.

Our shops are now Cathedrals for materialistic greed,
as we strive to own the very latest trash.
We seem to be confusing what we want with what we need,
till even time itself converts to cash.

So what is this Utopia were trying to achieve,
why do we grasp at everything man made?
I feel mans not as clever as some of us believe,
for nature really leaves us in the shade

Who can build a butterfly, a flower or a bee
a sunset or the lightning from above?
Who can match the vastness of the lonely open sea
or the all consuming passion we call love?

We can organise a cricket match or grow a bumper crop,
these small tasks are well within our power,
Yet the second may be ruined and the first be made to stop,
when Mother Nature treats us to a shower.

I have walked the earth’s great continents, and sailed the mighty sea.
Seen the Pole Star and the wondrous Southern Cross.
Throughout these great adventures it was obvious to me,
that Mother Nature always was the boss.

I have no time for Religion and I don’t believe in God.
I'm for Darwin's "Origin of Species".
Nature struggles for survival in ways we think are odd.
Whilst we build bombs to blow mankind to pieces.

I believe our treasures are the people that we love,
and to natures diverse beauty we should bow.
For if I’m wrong and there is an Almighty up above,
I wonder what he thinks of us right now.

Desired Occurrence

Wind nobody will interferes,
             playing dance of leaves,
             birds of a talker speeches,
to rejoice the forest and flowers.
Comes true the nature its beauties-
why can not our destingy dreams?

Looks after the solar storm thrill,
             and afters the winter,spring revives,
             anly dead branches,leaves and burl
             and never ending nature raises.
Why the destingy balks us and looks,
and all desired dreams always beats?...

Forthcoming

I saw an Angel with golden silver wings.
My ears tingled from her voice as she sings.
Adorned in gown of pastel green with golden hair,
Delightful music played, as my soul had no care.

Between her lyrics she sat ever so still.
Though interludes of nature did humbly fill,
Creatures of nature captured the beauty she expelled.
Their communication showered the quiet, as I exhaled.

This Angel said no words though spoke so clear.
With a melodious voice she concluded all fear.
Let not you heart be troubled or even soul lost.
For soon he will be coming he gave over the cost.

Forget what mortals’ say; that they know of his time.
For theirs is temptation, to lure thou into crime.
No man whether Holy or evil shall ever know his time of coming.
Though always remember, his return is truly forthcoming.

Perception of Perfection

PERCEPTION OF PERFECTION
A PERFECT LINE DOES NOT EXIST IN NATURE
THERE IS NO PERFECT SHAPE
YET NATURE IN ITSELF IS FLAWLESS
HOW CAN THIS BE WHEN OUR PERCEPTIONS
OF PERFECTION IS BASED ON STRAIGHT LINES, SMOOTH EDGES, AND CLOUDLESS
SKIES?
WHAT MAKES NATURE SO BEAUTIFUL
SO GENUINE AND TRUE
ARE THE CROOKED LINES, JAGGED EDGES, AND FLUFFLY CLOUDS THAT LINGER ABOVE
RIVERS HAVE DESTINATIONS
BUT THEY DON’T HESITATE TO TRICKLE DOWN INTO STREAMS ALONG THEIR WAY.
AS RIVERS JOURNEY TO THE SEA, SO DO THE WINDS JOURNEY THROUGH THE AIR
CARVING MOUNTAINS, CREATING SCULPTURES SO GRAND THAT NO DUPLICATION
COULD EVER BE MADE
NATURE’S CREATION
FLAWLESS RERALLY
THE WIND HAS NO DESTINATION, ONLY PURPOSE.
AS WE SPEND MOST OF OUR LIVES MOVING FROM POINT “A” TO POINT “B”
TO POINT “A” AGAIN, IT ALMOST SEEMS…POINTLESS
WE ARE EITHER LIKE THE RIVER OR LIKE THE WIND
EITHER WAY…WE HAVE A PURPOSE ©
