Mourning Night

At dusk the amber eye begins to close
Our dusty anthills fading from its sight
The midnight moonfright black-lit aura grows

Entrenching us in hollow, fiend-filled night
We lose ourselves and lose all sense of sense
We lose the light and then lose sight of sight

The baying wolves with daytime’s sun dispense
Their basest instincts echo through the sky
The praying men seek divine vigilance

And nighttime’s hooded chaos leads to sin
And hide the compass from humanity
And so the fearful seek the light within

Yet know they need the sun at reveille
The light and dark in order intertwine
Just like a rosary, a rosary

Mysterious Forest

Many things appear lost and hidden
but a certain light gives them life.
Twilight gives everything an opaque
glow making it appear solid like stone.
Many sounds, both imaginary and genuine,
ricochet around the darkness creating
fear and a sense of being gone astray.
Forests are found on either side,
both black and dead; all the
trees deformed into eerie formations,
each one seems to strangle another.
The owl holes seem to possess jagged teeth,
like a wild animal beholds.
Suddenly, the only light is provided by
a whole and bright moon; a wolf howls
in the distance.
Twilight has gone, everything appears
dead, even the moon is surrounded by
a few spine-chilling clouds.
Everything has gone silent; something
appears to move; leaves rustle raising
one’s hair.
Without warning, everything has gone black,
like a great darkness has engulfed one’s soul.
Sadly this is not so for one has become part
of the surrounding land, both dead and living.

Hidden Splendor

True life
Designed by love
Descended from heaven
Bright light that shines deep in the soul
Splendor.

Just like
The rarest pearl
Found after ample search
At the bottom of the ocean
Splendor.

It waits
For the great day
Of liberation when
You finally connect with its
Splendor.

Elate
Will your heart be
When that rare pearl is found
No longer locked, but free to glean
Splendor.

That day
You will know hope
For you will know, all souls
Shine with that bright light deep inside
Splendor.

A Light So Bright

To the world one can be seen to be as small as an ant but it is a mountain spirit which one
will see through words of truth and right, good over evil, one will see the light and brightness
in one soul, not matched even by 4 of the earth’s sun. A light so bright it allows every other
candle flame to become a forest fire to shine bright. A light so bright it will awaken the mind
to the fight for Truth and Right, Good over evil, Love over war, Spirit over material things, a
light with the power to unite, a light of understanding and righteousness.

The Light of Our Lives

Jesus,
You alone who are our life
are the Light of our lives.
Why would we want anything else
when, through even
the darkest moments of our lives,
You have proven Yourself
to be there for us,
time and again.
Time and again You have said that You
would never leave nor forsake us
and so, we trust You,
the Light of our lives.

A Big Step To Heaven

Dreaming of the day when I reach my heaven,
I've just taken the first big step forward.
I've decided not to look away from a reality like a heat haze.
Even if I can't find any light anywhere.
Do I have a promising future?
Only fighting is what pushes me forward.
I know that's a weird way to live, although that's all I can do.
I'm always struggling.
Dreaming of the day when I reach my heaven,
I've just taken the first big step forward.
I've decided not to look away from a reality like a heat haze.
Even if I can't find any light anywhere.

Last Wish

bring withered purple roses to my grave
when I’ll be gone...
and light a candle too...
I’ll know the light is there because of you...
don't cry, my friend, we die just once...
be brave...
and when my grave in roses scent will lave,
I’ll know you'll weep upon it...
and it's true,
I’ll miss this world, and more, I will miss you...
but then, my friend, we die just once...
be brave...
I’ll still be watching, as a windy wave,
upon your soul, from heavens, hoping you
will find somehow a way to say "adieu",
because, my friend, we die just once...
be brave...
so when you'll come to see my earthly grave,
remember me how I remember you...
just with a loving smile, as I’ll have, too,
up-ther', wher'I’ll be gone, my friend so brave...

Bright Light, Small City

Bright light, small city.

People here are filled with pity.

People here have false hopes.

People here are hooked on dope.

People here are believing in false teaching.

People here are worshipping any and everything.

The pagans are huger than the one's in Vegas.

Whatever is said and done here doesn't stay.

The bright light wants to shine, but not many,

In this small city is wanting to walk or walking

In the bright light divine.

Accompany of Gray

I have held it all
I have taken the fall
I know the pain
Of life’s domain
The endless rapture
Of its pointless capture
It seems so mundane
And all efforts appear vain

I thought I was upon the bottom
This end of endless existence
I thought I was forgotten
All out of resistance
I just lived as though everything was gone
And when I die
I will finally belong
But at the bottom I sat
Gazing with envy
At the lives others had
Seemingly free

At one point I saw you
At far you seemed true
And light shined out
As if to shout
That all was good
And nothing ever would
Hurt, harm, or sting
Just you, just being

I stared with amazement
I stared with awe
This feeling was constant
The break to this law
So I started to move
I walked forward
To try and disprove
That you don’t have to hurt
There is no need for pain
But the answer was curt
Like a forsaken bane

All the light there is
In this world of twists
Couldn’t stop the shadows
That always follows
From casting down
Its light and darkness upon the ground

We will always have bad
Accompanied by the good
And something seem sad
This is how it should
Be, and is not quite
Just the black
Or just the white
But a jumble
Of extraordinary dismay
Everything and anything
Is really gray

Today Gone Wrong

Life is lived by innovation
We can't be original but we can be different
So let's light up the night with golden opportunities
Let the light that is our future, cast the shadow of our pass
As we stand in today
But today is far off from the day before
Now innovate our way of thinking and way of moving
Til we cannot see ourselves as God's creation
No need for miracles.. We have power
No need for enlightenment.. We have therapy
No need for love.. We have money
Were lost....
In fact so much to the point that we accept the presents
In the present
So long they present us with something new
And since original is extinct
Life is lived by innovation

The I

Before I was
I was
Before I became
Became I
Before I journeyed
I journeyed
Before I had root
I had root
Before the Light manifested
Light was
Before light became light
I became?
While I journey through life
Life taught
While growing I became
Who am I
While I found the reason why
Why I
When I knew all lessons well
Why?
When last breath leaves the I
Ah life!

Light My Path

I lie desperate as a plant, planted in darkness,
searching for light!
Twisting, bending and stretching
Through this strife of life,
Searching for the eternal light.
I know that You know me my LORD,
Look at my suffering,
Look at my wounds and scars,
Inflicted upon me as I search and long for You.
Have mercy and shine the light upon me
Direct my blind self to the path of eternal life
To a life full of love, peace and serenity.
And even though i mature as a shapeless tree
I will rejoice for I have found the light-
The Light of Eternity.

What Now

You have been living your life in a box,
I see how it’s filled with broken glass.
So much has come forth to haunt you,
From living such a jaded past.
You already have my forgiveness,
I’m not the one you have to worry about.
So many other’s they want a piece of you,
You have many reasons to show fear and doubt.

So what now?
Pain has a firm grip on you.
Tell me what now?
What are the excuses’ for what you put so many through.
What now?
The names I see are carved into your skin.
Oh I can see your growing weak.
The light in your eyes now growing dim.
What now?

You’re looking so conflicted,
Has life now passed you by?
I can’t figure how to help you with your past.
I see how you suffer now inside.
You need to break away from your past handiwork.
To be free of living in a box with broken glass.
An admission to how you had been living,
May just put forgiveness within your grasp.
Or you can go on living jaded,
In the end I hope you find all that you seek.
Keep on adding names to that list of yours,
The glass in the end will cut you deep.

So what now?
Pain has a firm grip on you.
Tell me what now?
What are the excuses’ for what you put so many through.
What now?
The names I see are carved into your skin.
Oh I can see your growing weak.
The light in your eyes now growing dim.
What now?

Prose : Bathroom of Fantasy

Walking into the unlit bathroom, faded light sneaking in from down the hallway; I stare into
reflected shadows in the cold mirror.

Dark tint of blue glass, frozen feeling like the ghostly eyes of winter in a puddle or pond.

Reality seems to give way to fantasy: unstable darkness blurs to beyond the walls, beyond
the doorway that separates our worlds.

Panic seeps into my brain, dripping into my blood, one droplet at a time like a leaky faucet.
Feeling my imaginary foes breathing more life with each wondering thought of mine. I stand
in-between an ambivalent fork in the road.

But before I let my bathroom become transformed into another world, I hold my breath as I
flip the light switch. Quickly my reality flows back to me, realizing the world is once again
round and not flat, that I won't fall off of it.

Caution

tread lightly forward with caution---
making a way is often exhausting---
a light to my foot---
a lamp to my roadway---
to take me through the light of day--
