Light My Path

I lie desperate as a plant, planted in darkness, searching for light! Twisting, bending and stretching Through this strife of life, Searching for the eternal light. I know that You know me my LORD, Look at my suffering, Look at my wounds and scars, Inflicted upon me as I search and long for You. Have mercy and shine the light upon me Direct my blind self to the path of eternal life To a life full of love, peace and serenity. And even though i mature as a shapeless tree I will rejoice for I have found the light- The Light of Eternity.
