Premium Member Covid 19 the Day After Or There About

I wrote two terrible poems last night.
Will this one be another?
I am looking at the clock.
It is time to leave and get the oil changed.
I read the sign as I pull in.
No Shirt, No Shoes, No Mask, No Service.
I don my mask before entering.

I greet the girl behind the counter.
Do I need an appointment?
I do not know all the rules.
She replies, walk-ins welcomed.

Politely takes my keys.
Just an oil change JC, I nod.
She knows me by name.
Not because of my Poetry.
It is just that I have been here before.

The service starts promptly.
Three now toil on my vehicle.
It used just to be one.
I am the lone customer in the reception area.

Tv still playing the same station.
No more free coffee.
My soul smiles, anyway.
I guess I should have expected it.

I start to listen to Janine Jansen, Vivaldi.
My earbuds are a no-name brand.
I wish I had my Audiophile headset.
But that would be rude.

The technician approaches me.
I was expecting this.
It is not a cabin filter this time.
That would only cost me an extra twenty bucks.

He explains I need my transmission fluid changed.
That is another One Hundred and Eighty bucks.
Shows me the samples he took.
I agree, and he says it will take a little while longer.

As I sit here listening to music.
My keys arrive twenty minutes later.
Drat, I still need a little more hope.
I was looking for one more concerto.

Time to pay as panic sets.
Did I forget my wallet?
No, it is here in my back pocket.
A wave of relief washes over me.

I am slowly returning to normalcy.
On the way home, I am thinking, Metallica.

Battered Shattered and Scattered

Mrs Gladys Wackjob:
“What the goodness is wrong with this hospital,
I receive better service in a restaurant.
You nurses sit there doing nothing while my
Husband is dying. Why isn’t anyone talking to me.
And you little miss perky nurse, Yes you,
With the 80’s hair style. Are you actually old enough
To be a nurse. What the heck is going on..”

Nurse Rachel:
“I worked very hard at Medical School I gave up
everything. I didn’t have a social life. Yes I am old enough to be nurse.
We are doing everything we can but your husband
is very ill. Instead of yelling at me you might go and hold his hand.

Mr Jason Rightbrain,
“What is this crap. I ordered eggplant parmesiana.
This looks like cow manure. If I want to throw up I would
eat my x-wife’s crap. What is wrong with this place.
Are you really a Chef or just grabbing boxes from the
supermarket and heating them in the microwave.
I can’t believe this. And you think I’m going to pay
for this rubbish.
Chef Greg.
I gave up a good job working in accounting for this.
I loved the idea of serving people food. Three years
at College and I tried so hard. I think I’ll give up now.
Mrs Jane Wiseacre,
Are you Mrs Watson my daughter’s Teacher. This report says
my little Felicity is an underachiever. What on God’s green Earth
does that mean? I help her with her homework.
She wanted to go to ballet. No No No Not on my watch.
She works harder than any of these loser kids why isn’t
she doing well at school. Are you even a real teacher you look like
a waitress.
Janine Watson:
I tried my best with Felicity. I gave her extra attention
but sometimes you just can’t reach some kids.
They have shut off from the world. I can’t imagined why.
I have to go for a long walk now.

Half Cocked

Half Cocked

If life was sweet as buttercups
we wouldna have to say wassup
and as I slipped into your room
your figure shining with the moon
you gasped with seeming utter shock
as i smoked a pipe of havelock.............(old tobacco)
we came together neath the stars
and Jupiter he belted Mars
they put me in the JPs dock
said johnson had gone off half cocked

Don Johnson ....

Thank you sultry sweet Janine
your comments sweet, i'll lay between
and love will flow serenely not
steam and passion hot hot hot...
love Don

White America hates me (as well as most of the world)...BUT JANINE HOOPS
(TURNER) HAS ALWAYS LOVED ME...like it or not...whether you believe it or
not...I WAS NOT BORN OF THIS WORLD...BUT I WAS 'DELIVERED' BY URSULA
THE WHITE WITCH...who came in the form of the actress...Ursula Andress! I was
'delivered' to Priscilla Lai ("Lily of the field") Fong ("Fairest of the land") Lam ("The Lamb of God")...who was wedded to Hwei ("The Devil")Yang ("Yellow")Hsi (FuHsi)...on April 23, 1959 at 1:01 am (Gena Rose Pahucki, as the 'delivering nurse'...the actual Gena Rose Pahucki died in a car accident on April 22, 1959...Gena ("For there will be an actress, Gena Davis")...Rose ("For your first girl-friend will be Rose Smead")...Pahucki ("For you will meet in law school as Pachefsky")...I was a glorious 'white' baby (Caucasoid)...with blue eyes...and hair with actual gold filaments! The Ancient Grimories picture the "Golden-Haired-Child of Destiny of China"...my posted internet photo! The fifty-five yearcurse broke on April 23, 2014...and I reached a height of five feet and eleven inches in the second week of (My final form will be six feet tall and I will weigh two-hundred-and-twenty-five lbs.!) July 2014...and 'beat' the 'Strongest Man in the World' at his 933 lbs. of bodyweight...I was 126 lbs...at Sam's Club (Honolulu, Hawaii)...involving a three-hundred-twenty-three lb. 'marine' battery! BUT...The Original...The Last...and...The Eternal Source of Life...HAS GIVEN ME THE HAND OF THE ROYAL WHITE WITCH RENATA...Princess Renata Andress Zeiss...of the Royal House of Zeiss...under the King and Queen of Germany! I AM STUNNED AND OVERJOYED BY YOUR SUCCESSES JANINE! In an 'alternate' universe? (COINCIDENTALLY, I WILL NEVER BE AN ADULTEROR!)

Premium Member Masters of the Violin

Beauty of sounds so majestic
comes as mastering the violin
these ladies have done so
sweet sounds they do bring

Nicola Benedetti plays with class
fulfilling her promise of this decade
Julia Fischer's masterful poeme
engrossing self never to fade

Hilary Hahn such outstanding craftsmanship
brings such a skilful tone
Janine Jansen so exciting a player
so astounding when playing alone

Anne-Sophie Mutter classiest of all
for decades the violin's queen
Vanessa-Mae willing to experiment
a real stormer had to be seen

The violin a beauty so rare
makes one to stand and stare

She Told Me What She Wanted Without the Head Game

"SHE TOLD ME WHAT SHE
WANTED WITHOUT THE HEAD GAME"

I poured myself a drink.
I lit my cigar and hit the machine.
after I finished with the poem,
I sent it over to Janine.
she read it and was direct:
“I feel like I should be in a lot
more of your poems.”
I pulled the last poem from the
typer and wrote about her.
she makes me think of all the
lovers I’ve had.
had they just told me what they
wanted, the bull-!@#$ would’ve been
less than it was.
it isn’t hard to figure out:
tell Eddie what you want and you’ll
get it.
leave that “guess the emotion,”
game for the immature.
to all the ladies of my past,
to all the women of my past,
to all the bitches of my past,
to all the whores of my past,
learn from Janine.
she accomplished what every whore
has failed at:
communication.
I would call up every female
from my past but would they
understand?
I think you know the answer.
