If you can't accept who I am,
I can't accept you know what's best for me.
I am who I am and I don't plan on changing.
Yes change is beautiful,
But what if you're beautiful before you change?
I'm fine with who I am right now
And nothing's going to change *that*.
If you've got a problem with that,
Then I don't want to know you.
It cost too much to live
it cost too much to die
the struggle is somewhere in between
High taxes
loss of jobs
no health insurance
The rich has become my tormentor
working me as a slave
my load is designed for ten men
My tears are without color
politics are without emotion
seeking their own interests
The road to change is injuring many
the rich wade war
the poor lay down their lives
Hoping children will never see
the pain of this life
the lies we tell them, they no longer believe
Weigh my soul against the weight of gold
many would change for the price
selling their soul
Impossible to ignor
but many look away
refusing to feel
Giving up before they try
going on living this lie
prepared to die for it
A life that benefit the few
they bathe with my tears
dry themselves with my shame
Afraid to look at themselves
but so quick to condemn strangers
for their road to the top
To change the world
With a single word
With a single brush stroke
To change the world
With a single thought
With a single photo
To change the world
With a single glance
With a single pen
To change the world
Is not as hard,
As you may think.
Quote 1:
Life is far to short to let the little things get to you. Don't be ashamed of your past, but
learn from it. Don't be afraid of the present, but embrace it. Don't fear the future, but
welcome it.
Quote 2:
When you lean on someone else, then you, yourself, are learning nothing. However,
when you lean on yourself then, and only then, will you see that only you can change
who you are and who you will become.
Quote 3:
The world is like a treasure chest, when you look around you never know what you'll
find. You could find a treasure that only you can cherish or you could find a treasure
that will change your life as well as those around you.
I cannot change the course of history,
Though I find within to try.
Nor can I build of steel and stone,
Great buildings into the sky.
I'm unable to feed the masses,
Existing in some far off land.
Nor put an end to crime and drugs,
Though found so close at hand.
I cannot change the worldly trends,
Or cause strange attitudes to adjust.
Nor can I take advice from others,
In whom I've little trust.
I cannot stop abortion,
And I've not the cure for Aids.
Nor do I possess solutions,
To killings with guns and blades.
I cannot save a world that's lost,
So, In my ability put no stock.
But God hasn't required of me these things,
I'm just to witness, for Him, on my block.
to change is the demon of life
the words of unappreciated people
the life that has to be created society or an image
blink once, and the lines of art will change
blink twice, and the toungue of others will bridge together forced words
your soul , heart, and passion is the vision of your path
never let anyone change your way of path
no path equals no blueprint for success
listen, write, and express the language of your binded thoughts
change for you, change for your soul, not for the voices of others!!!
Change
As I try to change myself
To be the best I can
Seems I always come up short
I just don’t understand
That doesn’t mean that I wont try
To change myself again
Because I know if I give up
I have no chance to win
I'll try each day to do my best
With hope I don’t give in
For the heart of all my pleasure
Is found within my sin
So I seek strength upon the cross
Trust in his greater plan
To lead me not to the temptation
That made me who I am

What if I’m past the past now
What if I’m now, just done with it all
Do I get a break and get to change everyone’s mind
About what I’d done before I asked
What if I’m past
the past now
How come all the memories around me are longer than mine
How come there ain’t no distance between the last time
I did right and wrong
That I couldn’t fair myself right for measurement
Don’t they all have bad steps too
Ain’t they got some day they can’t take away
What if I’m past the past now
What if I, somehow, just moved on
Shouldn’t everyone have to hang on
Just kind’a move along
Without worrying ‘bout what ball I threw to begin with
Where would it go anyway
Did it fall in some yard. . . or on some roof. . . that I don’t ever get to retrieve it from
It can’t be that. . . I can't be that done
What if I’m past that now
What if my, ‘what if it’s’ are all just simply done now
Do I get a break and get to change everyone’s mind
