Premium Member Lemon Tree Lime

Yellow green citrus clean lemon tree lime
In the meadow of sublime
Too easy to change your mind

Open the door to shut your heart
Being dumb to outsmart
Smile the smile finish to start

Green yellow sunny fellow
Sweetly sour girl mellows
Show your quivering spine of Jell-o

Crying out loud to laugh inside
Dancing beneath a citrus sky
Lemon tree lime with wings to fly

Lemon tree lime with wings to fly
Soaring, soaring through the citrus sky
Waving, waving bye bye bye

Waving, waving bye bye bye
Close my mind by opening my eyes
With her leaves I to shall fly
With her leaves I to shall fly

Stump Attracting Me First and More Than Flowers

Flowers, grass, bushes, trees, attracted me in garden
In centre, a tree stump seemed to have complain
Stump was sobbing, none was caring
Moved by tears, I moved closer to stump
Stump bit in solace, narrated nostalgia bit by bit

“ Was once gardens fame tree, grew lovers favorite flowers,
Lovers plucked flowers, friends wish came true for sure
On Valentine day, seeking wish fulfilling flower
Lovers thronged, broke stem as they hysterically lunged,
Lovers got flowers, their love life flowered
A child could not get flower, wept on failure
Queried, you are a child, flowers are for lovers
Child wept louder said he too was a lover
Flower he wanted to present it to his Mother
Tears kept trickling , as if stump it was watering
Since then, every day child devotedly kept watering
Waiting for flower, be first one to pluck fresh flower
And present it to his dear Mother "

Deeply moved by childs love for stump,
I felt ashamed for mad urge of plucking flower
Flowers, thereafter, never plucked, left on tree to adore
Not wanting to be sinned for depriving any child's present for mother
Now all stumps attracting me first and more than flowers

Fruit of the Night

Last night exhausted from the day I slept.
Through my subconscious the following crept:
From the chasms of my mind sprang forth a tree.
Its branches droop, as it is filled with absurdity:
kites, games,sharks and more;
Children climb where redtail soar.
Bishops and Pawns sit in its shade.
Queens and snapdragons promenade.
Rattlesnakes slither under skies of blue.
These hang out in my tree too.
Tall branches scrape the edge of space.
My tree’s branches sprawl all over the place.
Other things are in it as well:
trucks and rockets and oysters on the shell,
tigers, trash and fishing lines,
dogs, cats and bottles of wines.
Far from the edges of its center
The wind blows cold like the air of winter.
My branches hold a bath of bubbly water,
where splashes a gulfside otter.
A Doctor drives a tractor with a chain,
pulling up the roots from my brain.
All of a sudden a knight sounded an alarm.
I woke with a sense of dread and harm.
From my shabby bed I leapt.
The fruit of my tree I safely kept.

Another Acorn Falls

A acorn has fallen from the tree beside me
Squirrels are playing
Ignorant to life that surrounds them
In such a joy as to be painted
In such a way to capture the essence of happiness.
I stare in awe, these creatures in playful contemplation
One perches to strike out to the other
Even as the other holds the same compliment
And strike they do as gravity is debated
Twirling squirrels in the sky.
One has missed the branch of impedance
As it tumbles downward to the earth
And still the other chases in contemplation
Capturing it's playful adversary in mid fall
As the two clamber up again.
Into the heights of fear they sway
Climbing the branches to the peak
With a leap and the hug of friendship they float
A swirling tornado of furry ecstasy
Drifting downward yet again.
And downward they go
A mid air-wrestling ring as gravity shows its strength
To the ground they bounced and lie still
As I thought they were dead their heads shook
And together they chased up the branches of the tree.
Another match they attempt
Further up the branches as far as the tree could extend
And as I watch
This moving event of natural pleasure
Another acorn falls.

The Willow Tree

Everyone has that special place
Where they can disappear
A place to count your blessings
Or hide from all your fear

Mine was a magical willow tree
A place I often hid
To me, that tree was many things
When I was just a kid

It sometimes was my fortress
That kept me safe from harm
I never lost a single battle
Under my good luck charm

Sometimes, it was my castle
With many dragons to slay
A kinght in shining armor
While searching for my prey

Sometimes, it was my spaceship
Exploring near and far
Master of the universe
Chasing that distant star

To me, that tree was everything
I ever wanted to pretend
And whenever I was lonely
That tree was my best friend

Sometimes, I really miss it
It was a special place to me
The time I spent was magical
Underneath my willow tree
