Best Hand Out Poems
Boogety, boogety, boogety shoo;
Some for me, but none for you.
That’s the way it has to be;
If we share, there’s
Simply not enough for me.
Boogety, boogety, boogety shoo;
Uncle Sam wants his piece too.
It should be plain enough to see;
All that remains is
Just enough for me.
Boogety, boogety, boogety shoo;
It’s not that I lack sympathy for you;
But I have my family's bills to pay.
Corporate America stays quite busy,
Charging interest with no holiday.
Boogety, boogety, boogety shoo;
I know you feel this all untrue,
It doesn’t have to be this way;
But “You must share”
Is all I really hear you say.
Boogety, boogety, boogety shoo;
Perhaps you could get a job too.
Then you might understand
The aggravation of someone
Always holding out their hand.

THE
HAND OUT BUMS
What would you do?
If I held my hand out;
And in my hand;
I would be holding a small smelly trout;
Goldfish dying in the seas;
People eating things that shouldn’t be
And they all pretend that they didn’t see;
My hand out;
I’m just a peasant boy;
Lost and all alone in this unpleasant world;
Ah! , lonely, so lonely me;
What will the future hold for me?
I can’t wait to see the Aquarius;
The astrological signs I’m not curious;
To see the future for me;
It’s not laid down by the trees;
Lookin for a pleasant place to be;
Whom shall write my history?
Shall I live my life in full misery?
Where will I be?
To see the future for me;
Babies’ crying in their cribs;
Prisoners of War still missin in action;
Whom am I to print a retraction?
I’m just a peasant child you see;
Looking for a pleasant place to be
My hand out;
I’m a peasant boy;
Lost and all alone in a peasant world;
Lookin for my peasant girl;
You see this future held for me
Now astrological signs got me somewhat curious;
You see I was birth under the sign of Aquarius;
So am I asking you..
I am asking you what you would do;
If I held my hand out;

HAND OUT
Her spirit lives within her words
Although you may not understand
But look between the lines she offers
You’ll see her holding out her hand
If not for holding you when needed
Then for you, to hold her, very tight
Just take it then, it’s there for you
To give her strength when there’s a blight
Her friendship given is a blessing
For smiles she’ll leave upon your face
A treasured friend unlike another
One in fact you can’t replace
So, when you see her hand for holding
Take it fast before it’s gone
You’ll find her friendship is worth having
And will remain forever strong
