Best Ferocious Poems
The blood- so much of it upon the floor
of that small cell - was all that remained
of fury in a prison hell.
The guards could find no weapons,
for what they'd missed was this:
the slaughter had been
wrought simply by
a female
inmate's
fists.

I crossed the path,
To meet your gaze.
Such a ferocious gaze.
It bore anger down upon your prey.
Curious horror came across my face.
I pulled you aside and,
Far, far away.
To find out why
You were after that prey.
I wanted to cry,
For the pain that showed in your eyes.
I grasped you close,
Oh so close to my breast.
To shush the beast inside.
The beast raged and roared,
To stay high above your best.
I hoped to clam him,
At least just a little.
To my surprise,
The beast I did sooth.
Back came you.
Your soul came flying free.
To finish taming thy beast.
Away went the beast,
Away went the ferocious gaze,
Away went the look of curious horror from my face.
Came falling down, the invisible tears of yours.
And mine did follow, as visible as day,
Because of the pain I sought,
In Your Ferocious Gaze.

Anyone who thought that I follishly picked a rabbit, a cat,
a sheep, a bird or frog as an animal for my impersonating:
must have the wrong assumption...it would be a big insult!
How would anyone see me becoming one of those?
Has anyone thought of me as a ferocious lion instead?
I would be the king of the jungle, but it could get worse!
I will be demanding obedience and loyalty from every small and big animal
that I have recorded in this book and as their leader I'll be just and pliant,
but wouldn't they envy me for my pretty lioness queen so gentle and beautiful?
Only lions have the ability to lead, solving the issues of justice, equality and fairness;
others may not seek the powerful ivory scepter I'll be holding in my claws,
and from this throne made of straw...they'll admire my sovereignty and mighteness!
Who's laughing in the noisy trees, where lots of monkees devour ripe bananas?
Who's shaking the brenches to make them fall and and land where I stand?
Don't they see the crown I'm wearing which intimitates the elephants and giraffes?
Nobody should be afraid of a docile lion that would turn ferocious...
if the jealous ones continued to ignore me and flashed looks of contention,
and although I am a self-appointed king, I can be kind, not atrocious!

I ache to grasp ferocious time
Past, present and future escape me
I lean into the moment
Ah, but it has passed
Like a plane’s jet stream
Whose flotsam announces not what is but what was
Or a train whose whistle echoes
Without the beast’s presence
Am I the stationary one?
A scarecrow’s arms wired and stretched
As time disappears into nothingness
Or am I the boomerang
Careening, spinning clashing
Yet always returning
Time is an empty construct
A theorem that can’t be engineered
Hands that hold black digits
Squares that run up, down and sideways
Man’s attempt to pinpoint God’s universality
Permanence evades me
Mountains sway
Rocks decompose
Stars blast from nothingness
Fire arises from earth’s mantle
I find stability in nature’s rotation
Dead limbs green and sprout buds
Silky blossoms wither and rot
Leaves turn color inside out
Change alone unlocks
The weather inside my heart

I didn’t get on with my neighbour next
Door, he didn’t like me being happy
I’ll turn you into a mouse he said or a rat
Or perhaps a dog, or a skunk or a cat,
Fancy that, he is no magician, just a man.
I looked up at the clouds, rain came down
Landed on my lawn,
Each drop
Went plop!
I obviously drifted, I want to be an ant
I shouted at the neighbour,
And then I awoke
Well my neighbour turned me into an ant,
This is what happened.
Hey, watch out with that shoe whatever
You do, my neighbour walked around
with an ant spray,
Better not get in his way,
Horrible ant, he muttered, you are a pest
Sprays me, puts garden poison
Near my favorite rose
Not minding me,
And continues to water the garden
With his hose
I will drown, I’ll die,
I felt tiny, vulnerable and angry,
Made friends with the ant army general
Hear this he said in an authoritarian voice,
Our revenge will show
Ants will backfire at your evil sprays
And careless human ways,
We will multiply and grow big,
So big, that over man we will tower,
And expose our intelligent ant super-power,
Ants will run this planet,
And we will eat our own weak kind,
Engrave that in your mind.
Our anti human army, is organized,
Intelligent and fearless, and there
Are masses of us, never ending,
Ferocious and unbending.
We will be so huge,
Soldiers and more army ant soldiers.
And delightedly let off our fuse.
I froze.
I crawled to the grumpy old man
I begged him to make me human
Again, and promised him
And that I would refrain
And never deign
To show a happy face, and so
Once more human, I told him
Of the evil intention of
Billions of soldier ants,
Who would eradicate man and plants.
Not at this time, in this millennium,
Said grumpy, I kind of like you now,
Great job, you know their plot
Together we’ll eradicate the lot!

We didn't make it through this ferocious world.
Somehow, some way, we are no longer friends.
It bears great malice towards our single hearts,
And hovers over our intimacy.
We conceal the life within our thoughts,
And feign at nothing with our inactions.
Such is the atrocity of ourselves:
To neglect and throw away those we love.
We then turn our heads with disgust and angst
thinking with the knowledge of impotence.
This is the nature what is real,
Friends, you and I may never, ever, be.
What breaks my insides, and twists at my core,
What destroys my heart and tortures my soul,
What saddens me more than anything else,
Is that all this ended the way it should.

SHIPWRECK
Along the shore lies shallow shoals,
beneath the waves and not exposed.
Laying in wait to seal the fate,
of some unsuspecting captain.
Then comes the sound of scraping sand,
upon the boards beneath the water.
The boat rounds up on her quarter,
and the captain sees flashes of his wife and daughter.
Orders are shouted sailors are ousted
The boat soon to flounder
They must work to save or end in their grave
Some to young for this to be done
Then up comes the swell,
like waves out of hell.
Their power is tremendous,
and their destruction is endless.
Horrid the sound as the waves pound,
splintering the timber from deep within her.
Up comes the shout we’ve done our bought,
No more time to fight just to turn and flight.
Take to the water and swim for your lives,
We have wives at home not wanting to be alone.
Let the waves have no quarter,
Swim for the shore, strife for your life.
But the sea shows no mercy,
With the roaring of waves,
As she carries men to their graves.
Not one to be saved.
The morning sun rises and with seas subsided.
Now nothing to show of the fear and the fright.
No one will know how the men fought their fight,
going toe to toe with an unbeatable foe.
I’m a man of the sea god please take care of me.

Having to undertake my journey through life
I face unusual situations...This time with animals...
In the lagoon the alligator opens its huge mouth and orders me:
-Swim.
.. In the field, the sibylline serpent hisses:
- Walk...
. !In the cold white snow the scary wolf looks at me and howls:
- Pass.
.. On the prairie the fierce buffalo roars
- Ride..
.. At the top of the rock, cunning menacing lion studies me and snores: -
Come here,,,
I almost calmly admonish:
- I'm not stupid or anything else I tell them: "I don't obey your orders" ..
This is how I continue my journey. Being able to tell this story alive,,,! ...!

Prose Poetry
Feeling flirty yet feral, Felicity ferociously and fearlessly defended
her fellow, Felix Feldman’s felines against the feministic feline haters.
Splendiferously if the female felons who were fixated on the fight are to be believed.
Felicity fed Felix’s fervent feelings of faith by defending his felines,
and his right to have them in addition to their own formidable fellowship.
She was the fervent queen of the festivities and the fine, fancy, festival that fine
flavored evening.
Felicity in no way let anyone defile or defeat the felines or her faith.
Fact is, Felicity ferociously fought for fickleness and fecklessness
on Felix Feldman’s part.
She was his favorite female, and he was her famous fancy fellow. Felix's felines were fascinated by Felicity's faithfulness to Felix, and favored the ferocious feral way she felled the feministic feline haters.

Alliteration
It was the most ferocious time of my life,
I was angry all the time.
Angry at breakfast.
Angry during lunch.
Angry at supper.
I was angry because my teacher had a pact with my mom.
I was to wear a mitt on my left hand for the year at school,
so I could not use that "wrong hand".
In the 50's that's how we "cured" left-handedness.
That was sixty years ago, and I still remember that
ugly gray mitt with the white strings that I could
not take off.
My mother made it, at
Miss Kneefriend's urging.
Miss Kneefriend indeed.
Let me show Miss Kneefriend a knee.
Anger takes away happy.
Anger takes away reason.
Anger takes away everything that makes a kid human.
And I was never a human child in the first place.
I was always ready to kill after first grade.
Because I remember, and I knew myself,
and I liked my left hand, and she was
angry too.

Fury and Ferocious
Fury will end up finding ferocious;
At same time becoming atrocious,
Trump alluded;
Badly deluded;
Apparently appears to be precious.
And supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
