Best Familyworld Poems
So tiny with delicate features
Bald on top like an older man with a ring of dark hair on the sides and back
Long thin fingers which are very cold even turned blue
There lies a surgeon or psychiatrist
Not a bomber pilot
Maybe a modern farmer who feeds humanity
Within this child I see hope
Where at times I don't feel that there is any
Left in this world of lost causes
Hope for a world filled with love
A world with tolerance, understanding
A world so different from what is in the here and now
Dark into its den submissively shrinking
Twinkle came in triumphantly invading
Long waited glister the world tendering
There comes at last the blissful morning
The big tree just in front so far sleeping
With melodious sounds now pullulating
Joining the chorals in the new day praising
‘Robbie’ and ‘Tweetie’,up there, happily singing.
A kiss, a hug then ‘Robbie’ is away flying
Over the tree, the sky for a while roaming
To distant plains, remote streams heading
Food for their newborn nestlings seeking.
‘Tweetie’ out of the tree never venturing
Her homey , cosy nest beautifully trimming
Against winds and dangers dutifully fortifying
Her progeny in the cradle peacefully snuggling.
One day ‘Tweetie’ heard of a world, bewitching.
Wonder in her heart was slowly prevailing
Her existence looks now pitifully unavailing
For change and exemption unprecedentedly longing.
She leaves the next morning, all perils dwarfing
From above, she can see where she was dwelling.
A tremor along her spine painfully repelling
Freedom spell all her being controlling.
In the world ‘Tweetie’ went on wandering and feeling
More and more magic her innocence discovering
Unaware of predators in the hide lurking
Until they attacked all the charm shattering.
Remorse, fear over her mind gaining
‘Tweetie’ returned to her fledglings
The nest now empty in parts falling
She waited and waits and waiting
Parents
How my mother raised me, in pain and pleasure
How my father bring forth my wishes thereof
How many nights they spend sleepless
How many nights they endure in prayers
Long live my child, in safety and health
How I grow in their lap, and in their arms
Its not humble, it was feebleness in me
That their worries tuned into my strength
Its not food, vitamin or calcium, but
Their courage and prayers that fed me
Little of my illness, brought in tears of worry
Little of my cries, brought world at stand still
Little of my tantrums, world was purchased
How can I pay back, with what can I pay them
Not in Gold, not it diamonds, not in heaven or earth
For everything has a price, parents are priceless

So hard to pick among my friends
for all of them are true.
My world is small, my world is large
and all here in the Soup.
There’s Andy sweet, with writing neat,
and dear heart Connie too!
They’re my support, they’re my comfort,
a spicy mixed up stew.
Now, Dane Ann tells me when I’m tart
and Connie when I’m strong.
Yet, Linda, my sweet heart Linda
delights me on and on.
My world is small, my world is large
mon cher lives in the south
Tim’s his name of Cajun fame
a charming, silly youth ;).
I’ve new friends too they come to me
silver so Un-Canny …
I treasure them as I do my Jim
my Jamie, my Soup family!
Grandmama,
Mama,
Aunt,
sister,
cousin,
niece,
friend.
More precious than the air that I breathe.
When there was doubt,
in any amount,
you provide the clout,
the belief.
Emotional and spiritual, that nothing else could compare,
true angels without wings,
pulling blessings and hopes right out of thin air.
Passing them on, sacraficing, never worse for wear.
Whenever I call you, you answer,
with answers that makes the world itself lend its ear.
Consummed by your wisdom, you make it all very clear.
Beauty and finesse is not enough to explain,
you make the world go round,
nuturing us,extraordinary contained.
I am eternally grateful.
Grandpoppa,
Daddy,
Uncle,
cousin,
brother,
nephew,
friend.
You stood by me through thick and thin,
giving street knowledge,
Faith, understand???
When some folks sew doubt,
you said you can do it,
shock the world, turn it out.
While all the while you made me humble,
setting examples, behind the scences,
content with fufilling all my dreams.
Sometimes I can't but believe that you are heavan
sent.
With strength upon shoulders,
you all just hold us,
never faltering,
never giving up,
no never quitting or with relent.
I am eternally thankful.
Family, May God Bless.
Tomorrow is another day
For now just shut the world away
It's time to rest sitting and swinging
No need to worry if the phone is ringing.
For tonight come home to stay.
Time to put the day to bed.
Little girls laugh and wiggle.
Jump on the bed and start to giggle.
Hug them tight and kiss their head.
Tuck them snuggly into bed
Night has come to end today.
Our little ones dreams are underway.
The rest of the world can wait
Hold me tight as it gets late.
Tomorrow is another day.
There they are
living within our hearts while
coloring our world like rainbows over the sky
they seem like bits of fluff blowing whilly nilly in the wind
pausing now and again
to take in moments of bliss, laughter and playfulness-
We love them
gently and firmly guiding these
tiny humans that live with our blood flowing through
their veins reminding us of our young lives formerly spent
reminding us of how the world
appears like a huge unknown
I smiled yesterday
when Rishi said he wanted to watch a dvd with all of us
on the chesterfield with a blanket over us
and then eating popcorn
Leela immediately agreed and we hunkered down
after dinner
grandparents and grandchildren
together again.
moments caught in arms of love, beauty poised with directness of purpose,
reaching out to a world in need, searching below the surface,
friendships rise with honor and truth, a solid faith to believe in gods healing,
not basing our truth on what the world has conceived, but believing in receiving,
holding hands in triumph we conquer, we override down feelings of remorse,
for when we share our flaws no matter how big or how small, you always place us back on
course.
Family comes to gather
And the rest of the world seems to matter little
We eat and laugh
And play old games
We talk about everything
And the rest of the world seems to melt away
People know not what family is
Untill you are all together as one
And all your problems melt away
Because you are surounded by great people
Who will love you no matter what
(It's not like they have a choice)
But either way
They are yours to keep
And you love then just as much
And no matter how many pranks to be played
They are still there when you need them
Families are just that annoying
Spare change in your pocket
That will come in handy one day when you really need it...
