The personal is boring
as are my ruminations on the war.
What I need to do I can't try:
wander without shelter in the backcountry.
Or go deeper into the polity,
join a committee or a party.

Minute by minute and season to season
I like my life but what does it add up to, what reason
to go on? No better than a squirrel
or a spider. Spreadsheets, fake books, girls
I want too mildly, modestly or morally to have.
Can the economy and community be called love?

You can be killed and buried in gravel
Your children can be failed at school and marched to war
You can be taxed and sent to gaol for the honor of it
And there's nothing you can do about it.
Will we find the universe not large enough to hold us?
Will planet after planet be too old for us?

If you were president, what would your program be?
What one question is the key
to another's truth. How do you spend your money?
Do you believe in a god who can see
all and understand? Or is he
unable to care, a different species.

We take the long view
that as individuals drop
from sight, new enthusiasts
will associate. Legs
give out, lungs collapse,
but we do not let the circle lapse.

For every Aristotle
there are a million toddlers
who will advance no memorable
theories. But the mist
on trees and mountains,
sunrise over desert, are for

every merchant, traveler.
My sons will take on cares,
which toys are theirs,
as their parents grow
older. Slowness brings us
to our goal: do one thing well.

By that what is meant?
Don't be a dilettante.
Not having found the greatness
of a single, clear description,
definition, the greatness comes in
doing everyday what's known.

Glistening Gokarna

GLISTENING GOKARNA

This scenic beauty, a grand temple town
Seated in the Arabian Sea like a golden crown
Bedecked on its bosom the blue beaches festoon
To name a few- Kudle, Paradise,Om and Half moon

Plays host to a galore of global tourists
Adventure enthusiasts and also motorists
Its a Sanskrit hub; has temples ancient opulent
Spirituality, Vedic chants have sprayed its sweet scent

The gracious mountains line the beaches pristine
Verdant vegetation like emerald has draped it green
Coconut fronds along the shores sway in gentle breeze
Colourful narrow streets and shacks to you please with ease

Savoring the magic of Sunrise and Sunset on the yellow sand
Makes you get lost in trance attaining bliss with its magic wand
In the twilight’s crimson red a natural painting of the retreating birds…
And fishing boats dancing with waves cannot be explained with words!

Notes:
Gokarna is a small temple town on the western coast of India in Uttara Kannada district of the state of Karnataka. Gokarna in Kannada language (my mother tongue) means Cow's ear.

Vedic chant-The oral tradition of the Vedas (Srauta) consists of several pathas, "recitations" or ways of chanting the Vedic mantras. Such traditions of Vedic chant are often considered the oldest unbroken oral tradition in existence, the fixation of the Vedic texts (samhitas) as preserved dating to roughly the time of Homer (early Iron Age).UNESCO proclaimed the tradition of Vedic chant a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity on November 7, 2003.

Spanish moss draping old oaks
Sea bird sanctuaries with lookout platforms
Storks, pelicans and seagulls cry for attention
Hammerhead sharks cruise the Gulf Stream

Hurricane-vulnerable, small cottages
Home to stock car races, bikers
Antique auto enthusiasts

Surfers line the east horizon
Unpredictable waves
Undertow, sand crabs and sea turtle eggs

Let's leave our footprints
In fine, white sand
Collect angel-wing shells
Listen to beach-side church bells
When we visit

Internet-Doc

Welcome to the internet,
Where basic freedoms are embedded into the hard drives.
Where the memes help you through life.
Where Socially Awkward Penguin holds the door open too long, while Socially Awesome Penguin opens it for a lovely girl.
Where Scumbag Steve shows us the scumbag in all of us, and Good Guy Greg shows us our goodness.
The memes may describe the human actions, but not always the human thoughts.

Wordpress and blogger anger people, yet pushes them to protest.
Twitter, allowing little snippets from your brain escape, all in 140 characters or less of course.
Friendster, the hipsters’ domain of range.
Facebook being fought over by teenagers and adults since 2005.
YouTube, the keeper of memories, keeper of pain, keeper of anger, keeper of happiness, keeper of love.
Vevo, the music video enthusiasts’ devil, and God.
Welcome to the internet, It’s just a world fashioned by 0’s and 1’s that seems too real...

 Tarek Hassan

I saw in Kathmandu in Nepal

Hand-crafted paintings of the city, aesthetic artistry

She did like him forgot

Suddenly the door sound memory.

I went to the Indonesian island of buttam

Filled eyes saw, the sea shore

I wrote the name of the plane splitting book

Baluchar got to bed rest.

I saw the sea waves Malay

A long line of rows in the garden of the plume,

Malekkara arranged the scene, to me,

It was really fascinating, bhuleni mind.

I saw the Maldives, around the island city

Travel enthusiasts spend hours in the parlor

Small passenger plane shuttled everyone

No it does not flying and landing airport.

I've lived long, the city of dreams

Eternal spring in the country, the love

Took her as his workers,

He went to the city, I saw how much

Are there to touch hands

luxury lifetime pass in Palace.

I traveled in China in technology

Many people say to me they don't understand

I was impressed to see the love of their homeland,

How many state alleges the new angirase

lightning at night I have seen in Beijing.

I went to Hong Kong on the way

He also saw how the people

I am surprised the external mix, fascinating behaviors,

I have no one to tell details.

I have seen skilled people in the Philippines exercises

Again I saw something there to look dirty,

I was shocked to see their culture

Girl brutalized the country.

I went to India, to heal the mind

How many scenes have been unknowingly plunge

I have seen the Taj Mahal in Agra, I thought again and again

Why do we need so much love.

I bent down and touched the high mountains of Bhutan

I shook with fear of their lives when the plane varies

I'm going down through the mountains.

I went to Australia, on the ground

I could not keep my feet,

The fate did not respond to me, warning that day

dream is still chasing me.

I love to this day, do not see the city

I did it in the hope chest, one night,

This is a dream I have traveled on the fog

Logo luxury streets.

I Speak Speeches

Alicia altered my life attachments!
All I say, all I see, all just happen!
Errors exist in English!
Emotive enable enthusiasts explore!
Even the early come to an end!
Fate finds fortune!
Fortitude foretells the future!
Hypocrites hibernate in church!
In joy, Joyce jubilates!
Ice cream conversations intensify romance!
Join Jesus but not Judas with jinx!
Knacks are known and renowned!
Lend a hand to the lentitude lass!
Misogamists and misogynists mix well!
Moths multiply at night!
Ministers minister ministry of politics!
Politics are never pellucid!
Practice and praise the present!
Signs and symptoms aren’t similar!
Sweat or not smile!
Some people aren’t sought after!
Sink or swim in a swimming-pool!
Save a sinking ship from the rats!
Talent is never taught twice! no
Twins are taught twice the same way! yes
Times of troubles torment!
The devil dares in the darkest moments!
I say words I say!
I speak speeches!

Orioles with mellow melodies
I consider each a mighty king,
A peaceful of old-time remedies,
In an enchanted wood, herald spring.

Seasonal birds blessed with mild weather,
Attract bird watching enthusiasts,
Come from far, lone by lone, together.
Time is perfect, good weather forecasts.

Angels

Angels! ! !
Pristine they are,
Angels are our aegis.
Angels are our confidants,
Confidants who know what we want!
Angels are sidekicks!

Angels! ! !
Legends they are,
Who work around the clock?
I prefer calling them enthusiasts.
Angels are our seekers.

Angels! ! !
Heroes they are,
In tragedy, angels consume us to keep heart and have hope!
Angels are victors!
Angels are noble!
Let's accolade angels.

Premium Member Road Kill

A day with the family to enjoy lunch in a town close by..Heavy gray clouds, wind, and threat of tornados leaving thoughts questioning whether to go or stay..A day to do the unusual wins..The gun enthusiasts go to a gun show while the ladies shop..On the way the gray clouds seem weighty...

buzzards eat noon meal
road kill thrown in open field..
bradford pear death wreath

Sun emerges for a few seconds somber weigh lifts..

Premium Member My Exposure To Fifa Women's World Cup

“Fédération Internationale de Football Association”… that’s FIFA’s whole name
“International Federation of Association Football” is its English translation claim
“F" in FIFA Women’s Cup can stand for “Females” who play the sport-game
“Achievements” of ladies are highlighted midst acceptance issues’ flame.

Women’s Football as Women’s Game of victory, wows me along its history
Opening me to gender-reality concerns, subjugated by resilience-glory…
Meeting marginalization-struggles, moving despite global ban’s misery
Empowered energetic lady football enthusiasts exhibited mastery
Nurtured with zealous trainings to become exemplary…
Savoring triumph while influencing others by their determination-story.

World now watches the lady football warriors of women’s dignity-height
Oh, to me, an avenue to celebrate accomplishments with delight
Recognizing and respecting athletes in their own right
Learning from them as they do their best with all their might
Determined to succeed and persevere, despite pain, in the fight*.

Called to be a soccer champion in life’s football field through faith’s gesture
Upheld am I by God, my Sovereign Coach, upon His cup of service-venture…
Playing, praying, performing well with my team to win for His exalted posture.

*2 Timothy 4:7 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”

Universal Consciousness

I think we should have a
World Sex Day
A universal energy release to
cure Mother Earth
All we do is probe her
private parts
With drilling machines,
bombs and nuclear waste
And leave her on heat
Dissatisfied
Unloved
We leave her oozing with
acidic rain and lava eruptions
And untamed violent
orgasms:
Earthquakes, hurricanes and
storms.

Every woman deserves good
sex
Mother Nature is horny and
lonely
Let's all bow our heads and
kiss the ground she walks
Let's all hug trees and dance
naked at river banks
Let's have a World Smiles Day
Let's hug everyone we meet
Let's feed every yawning
street urchin

Let's resign and give these
jobless enthusiasts a chance
How else are they going to
pay back
HELB loans, marry, raise
children and build decent
houses for their poor
parents?

Let's close Bibles and Qurans
for one day
And realize this world is our
home
Our Earth
Our Heaven

Let's stub out cigarettes and
clear our lungs
Let's switch off phones and
TVs
And de-bunk our conscience
of these fairy tales about
modernism
Let's all walk bear-footed and
eat wild berries for lunch
Let's bend all laws of nature
Let's burn the constitutions
Tell all refugees to come back
home
Tell them the truth now
reigns supreme

Let's fear not the man with
the gun or bomb or pen
Let's go back to Eden

Let's all go broke and see
how meaningless money is
Let's all fart and deflate our
bowels of GMO gases and
barley and ulcers

(Imagine a World Farting Day
I bet the sky will turn sooty
and then it will rain ****)

Let's ambush libraries and
scramble for knowledge and
truth

Let's all fall in love today
With everyone and anyone
With everything
Let's dance to the music of
the wind
And chirping of crickets and
birds
And silence of the stones

Let's all be selfish today and
truly love ourselves

Let's all be poets!

Phil the Tech Enthusiast

There once was a tech enthusiast,
Name of Phil, and in him an obsession did persist.
It was with his laptop that he couldn't part
And so he took it, truly, everywhere he'd start.

In meetings, at school, and even in the loo
The laptop never went off, no matter what he'd do.
He called it his wife, with love and a smile
Said it kept him going, every day a new mile.

Late at night, you'd see Phil's face aglow
As he worked on his laptop, with no desire to go
To bed or to rest, for work was all he'd know
As he typed away, letting his ideas flow.

But it wasn't just work, it was about knowledge too
He surfed the web, acquiring new skills in all he'd do
From cooking to carpentry, he wanted to learn
All while maintaining his core tech focus with every turn.

People close to him, they knew him well
And they knew, wherever he went, his laptop he'd sell
His devoted companion, his trusty friend
On whom he could always rely in the end.

And yet, in his mind, it was more than mere attachment
It was a tool, a means for his advancement
In the world of tech, and in life as a whole
He longed for success, to reach his aspirational goal.

In one hand Phil held his laptop tight,
In the other, a hot cup of coffee for the night.
They were the perfect companions, through thick and thin
Simply inseparable, like a twin.

People often wondered, would he ever break away?
From the glimmering screen, that kept the world at bay
But Phil knew what he needed, and it wasn't far
Reaching new heights, reaching for the star.

Here's to the tech enthusiasts, out there in the world
With their laptops by their sides, always unfurled
For passion and drive are what make us who we are
So let's keep typing away, reach for the next bar.

let's remember, as we type away each day,
That our laptops are more than just screens in a way
They're part of our journey, what makes us unique
A reflection of our drive, our purpose, our mystique.

So let us salute Phil, for his drive and his heart
To chase his dreams and let his obsession play a central part
For in this digital age, and in all that we pursue
Our laptops are not mere gadgets, but a part of our soul too.

2015 British Open Squash

2015 British Open for Woman Squash will be best remembered for its semifinals...
As one where a qualifier player had a blistering run into the semifinals....

Unannounced, after 2 rounds of tough qualifying matches, came the unexpected..
World no.29 Delia Arnold from Malaysia, she came, she saw and she conquered..

Shoving aside higher ranked players without breaking her strides, form or look.....
Delia delivered, defied all predictions and topsy turvied the formbook...

Greatest of all her feats was when she went into court and stood toe to toe...
Against Raneem El Weleily, the sublime Egyptian player who was world number 2..

When the chips were down, Delia Arnold came alive, presevered and survived...
Against all odds, spectators were awed as the world no.29 stayed alive..

Delia Arnold world no.29 tenaciously outfought the sublime skills of Raneem..
Quicksilver speed, silky skills and immaculate courtcraft failed to save Raneem...

Next in her cross-sights was Carmille Serme of France, the world number 6...
Being world no.29, can Delia go one further and take out the world no.6....

Ardent squash enthusiasts held their breath when on the next day they fight...
Will the fairy tale run of Delia again run true after 4 days of dogged fights..

If you would like to know the outcome of how Delia perform the next day...
You'll have to check out yourself on the internet for the outcome of that fray..

Staring Into a Window Pane Space Full of Quadrilaterals

sandpaper savage today
buttermilk wavelength tomorrow
directions are like buffets in multidirectional earthquakes
yet and still i cherish the day

downward spiral clouded pepper today
scallops dipped in butter sauce tomorrow
arrows are like indecisive enthusiasts continuously banging their heads
yet and still i cherish the day

driving off of an embankment today
sucking nipples carelessly on a pillowtop mattress tomorrow
pathways are like emotional guessing games defiant to antiquated rules
yet and still i cherish the day

Premium Member Everybody Likes To Paint

An art party! Hooray! The second grade teacher tells her class.
You have earned it for good behavior. Everyone likes to color, right?
Everybody likes to paint. It is relaxing!

“I don’t like to,” says Bobby.
“I hate it,” says Em.

“You will love this art party,” the teacher tells them.
This one will be different. It will be wonderful.”

“What about a bowling party?” Bobby asks.
The other children start shrieking that they want to go bowling.

“Or a snowball party?” Em suggests.
She has almost as many enthusiasts.

“This is a REWARD party,” something you have EARNED, for good behavior,”
The teacher tells them. “I have already ordered the supplies. This is an art party.”

“What if I take some of them outside and have a snowball party?”
the student teacher asks.
“They would hurt each other,“ the teacher says.

“What about a bowling party?” the student teacher asks.
But when she sees the teacher’s mean face, she backs off.

An art party it was. A huge success for all but two.
Normal day in second grade where they are once again the odd ducks.
