Original poem:

The mountains that stood before me
Her creamy white breasts
I lay upon a belly you see
For the view of her summits are the best

Her belly moves up and down
As the waters on the seas
But the stillness of her mounds
And her nostrils blow between them a cool breeze

I know there are seven wonders
The world it proud to show
But the ones that I lay under
No one else will ever know

The Source

A light, a single warm glow shines in a world of dark decisions and ever present worries as we walk though the veil of mists from that which was once safe and towards a future cold and yet unknown. A rustle of wings, a shower of feathers a creator surveys all in his grasp on currents of magic and even as he paints on the surface of the wind his mind is drawn ells-were. Higher and higher till the atmosphere is but a faded dream whisked away by the beating of his wings and still his mind wanders farther and farther from him. To a shattered dream made whole, to a memory so warm it threatens to eclipse his brightest sun, and no matter what he creates or how many he knows this is one of a kind. Farther and faster his wings carry him through a place lit only by tiny motes of light like glitter in the wind towards a place he left long ago but can never forget. With a great flash the world around him is peeled away leaving only a trace in the eyes of a man whos wings are hidden, standing before a door to a simple house. The door opens and a smile spreads over his face as he says the words he could not bear to hold any longer....hi mom, how have you been?

The Break Up

They break up
His happy, while she’s crying
Eager to find someone ells he messes with other girls

Beneath her she wants to cry but she’s strong and holds it in
Revealing her true feelings to him, he laughs and walks away
Envy his new girl she does
Angry she walks away and finds someone ells
Kidding around she tells him she loves him

Uncomfortably he says it back she laughs and says
Perhaps you shouldn’t have laughed at me look at who’s laughing now

Ice

When I have ice skates on I feel like I belong,
I belong no where ells but on that ice,

The way you glide,
The way you slide on the wet smooth ice,

I love the things you can do,
You can jump,
with ump,

The way ice sounds when you jump,
And spin is to hard to enplane,
You would have to figure it out when it rains.

I Sold

I sold my stolen joy division box set
to go to a local show with a girl
how's name was in a popular song
on the radio
she had long curly blond hair
like the one from pink flamingo
we ran for coffee out of
the rain that was so cold it cud snow
when we started talking about
hows, whats, wares, whys and when's
her pretty face told me how her mom died
and explained a brain aneurism
baking cakes and cookies sounded perfect
but how would you feed cloth your self
and pay the bills
making furnisher at the university
ruff hands rubbing mine
she looked up in to my eyes
you havent worked a day in your life
half smiling she steal held mine
there wisent mutch ells I wanted to do
resting on top of me
say the right things or
be comfortable with silence
she was from baltimore
and I have pleasant memories of pittsburg.

Tropical Dreamer

Far away
Portray, many
Serine shadows
Blossoming and dancing
A watery romance
And before your eyes
Stretches an ocean buffet
That cries, and wails
In an unknown place
Lies water so clear
You can almost see your face
Coral riffs with vivid colored fish
Stroking by
Transcending their way
Content to sway
With the bends and bows
That sea grass brushes away
To the rhythms
Of the tide wide and abundant
Sea urchin’s feeding on hot pink
Coral
It’s as if God painted them a mural
Turquoise waters sigh foreverness
As the fish swim in together
Electric ells popping out of their hollows
As a passing blowfish happily swallows
Creatures of unimaginable shapes
Divide and hatch in a splendor of beauty
Drawn up on the land
Shells garnish the sands
Arching seagulls clattering in flight
Consuming bits and pieces
Here and there
You can hear
The
Crashing tides with a misty wash
Crawl up onto a posh
Seaside, ambition

Momentous Day of Birth

M-omentous day of birth
A-ttests to the ecstasy;
R-apture of the occasion
I-ntensifies the glory.
T-he momentous time of birth
E-levates the pleasure;
S-eptember sixth sunny day denies the hands of pressure.

A-n eventful day of birth
R-atifies the pure delight;
A-greeing to celebrate,
B-eginning after the night.
E-ventful day of birth
J-ells at the break of dawn;
O-mitting the dark from the sky, as the shadows are gone.

M-omentous day of birth
I-s truly thrilling to the heart;
R-egarding you as deserving
O-r worthy of a fresh start.
T-ime to greet the morn making you feel much mirth;
E-njoy and jubilate the momentous day of birth.
