When social upheaval brews chaos of nihilism,
Forfeiting moral values, embracing skepticism;
Instability ensues, clamoring in emptiness,
Believing world is futile, life is meaningless,
As broken norms shout, voicing nothingness
From souls alienated by misplaced intellect,
Mislaid by thoughts, vacuous and mindless.

Barren is the landscape of infertile minds
Dislocated in grip of meltdown and melancholy,
Preferring to host anarchy, disharmony,
Abandoning the virtues of reason, and logic,
Rejecting bliss and benevolence of empathy,
As gloomy clouds of disengagements form
Roiling hearts in intense emotional storms.

When disorder harbors indignity, incivility,
Misery and despair lead to destructive society,
As lost, worn-out souls wander unfulfilled,
Rudderless, in angst of hollowness within,
Aching for love-lost in fractured relationships
Navigating purposeless-digressions adrift,
Going nowhere, hovering over pit of abyss;

Until from consciousness cogent voice speaks,
Enlightened by guidance of wisdom satori,
Harkening back to yore, of inspiring dawns,
Blossoming-seasons of resplendent bygones,
Reminding~ back then, how tranquil life was;

Empowering now to banish reign of anomie,
Exiting tenebrous clouds, shrouding sanity,
Traversing back to abode of grace and unity,
With compass-benevolent of love, and divinity.

Pretension To Omnipotence

Beyond all those particular existences
Such illusions of meaningless digressions
from what's humble and noble
Decimated to nothing other than
eternal oblivion
A fallacy to one's own finitude
A pretension to omnipotence
An undue adulation
To such negations
Of knowing evil by infection........

When Night Had Veiled My Foe

Like a great parodied indolent
Such illusions of meaningless digressions
Compliant with a game of chance
Purred for the sun to pass
And built a twilight barricade
Till hunger drew slack
Then like a flack of mottled light
Round beneath it
Time in hours
It moved the world..

Elegy For a Poet

(Dedicated to Carlos Bousono)

Without digressions and steadily
You grew old like a river reaching the sea.

As one who reaches the sea and the sand,
you let go off the safety of the land.

You fought the storms battling with age.
Your spirit overcame. You turned a page.

Your words became salty and filled with shells,
drifting in light and drafted in spells.

Young in its fervour, brother of the waves,
your heart carried weight, wherever it braved.

Wherever it braved, you came into being
as when morning dawns and night is fleeing

in the slimmest of lights, and you suddenly know
a new day is born and you feel aglow.

You reached old age undisturbed by chance
with time for reflection and eager for balance,

with a gift to listen, repent and find peace,
as the sea waves receive, hold on and release.

As the sea winds play with an errant dove
may the Great Spirit enfold you with love,

carry you, written in wind, salt and sea
to Elysium’s infinite harmony.

Fondling the Secret Parts of Your Body

I can't stop believing in the flip-flop
digressions of your lies. They wrap me
in hot and cold emotions. I like the
distance I feel from you. It caresses me
like a warm blanket used to cover
the cold of winter snows.

"You disgust me" you moan as I
fondle the secret parts of your body.
"Not as much as I disgust myself" I reply
as I push my assertiveness into
your waiting crevice of delight.

We seem to enjoy the gripping nature
of our hallucinations. Pretending we
are this or that makes us strong. I
like to toss your clothes into the
dryer and pretend I have smashed in
your brain.

Still, I handle your lying with pleasure.
Your words a never-ending cycle
of different points of view. Most people
prefer not to hear the truth and I am no
different. Your spectrum of lies promises
me a pot of deceit at the end of the rainbow.

"You don't excite me" you proclaim. Your
face an interesting mask of resentment.
"Ah, but I don't excite myself anymore"
I answer, with the proper level of
disdain peppering my vocalization.

I leave you to go to the store.
In my mind I go to purchase some
sort of toxic liquid to pour into
your coffee. I think I would find
it in myself to laugh if your
face bloated as you gasped for air.

We are the death. We are the beginning
and the end of one another.

Why can't I just stop reading your book?
Why can't I just walk back to the hole
I emerged from?

It must be the need, the longing.
We scream to everyone that we
are independent, solitary beings.
Yet, we are all afraid of
of being alone.

Moving Pieces

you spill into my life
i flood into yours
cool water
and
occasionally warm
h2o
waiting for a shower
to cleanse the days'
digressions
to build last nights'
feelings of bondage
away
as the new emotions
come to shore
singing
dancing
moving
through this life
as i sit on Einstein
and his voice is muffled
did i say an overboard
statement
whilst
waiting for fruit
and waffles
waiting for lovely human
contact
had someone said
"it's o.k."
well,
i heard that part
so,
i just move like a piece
of energy
and i
just move like a piece of
everybody
that moves in times of volcanism
and new turf
despite the fact that
we hear our ears
found by the day dreamers
of looking glass
persuasion
always
looking for the new thought
through microscopic eyes
hitting
the ground running
and spinning out
360
i personally enjoy
180
-
it makes me react
it makes
the dreams start
to love
and react
finally

Digressions On Billboard Haiku

DIGRESSIONS ON BILLBOARD HAIKU

Sick of the commute?

Early morning pavement gray as masticated
	breakfast sprinkled with broken glass.

Brakelights driving you crazy?

Blinking red Morse with its Monday
	bad news: Accident Ahead.

Take the train and dream.

And off beyond the shoulder, fields of grasses
growing free, whatever the mind can see.

Guess Who?

GUESS WHO?

I’m a spit this like a thesis

No one speak everyone just listen

The question put forth is not what but who

How and why

People in this cynical insensitive reality please only one need

Want only one thing, what it is

Is not what it seems

Greed is the topic yet ya’ll like to drop it

Drop it like rotten fruit from an un-healthy tree hidden behind

And disguised by a mountain of lies

Hide! Why? because greed is gluttony a sin

That you commit, that you can’t stand to admit

Admit to yourselves, to your seeds that you plant in this reality in which you create and
always seem to manipulate

Wait, let me guess is this becoming stress

Do you not want to hear the rest?

I guess what they say is true

 The truth hurts

But guess what really hurts

The cadaverous countries that fall like that fruit on that hidden tree

That deserves nothing more nothing less then prosperity

Those countries where in reality helped you with your greed your need

 Your strive to succeed

Bewildered by the thought of karma

Y’all bring nothing but drama

Nothing but profound profuse and open faced lies

And still you try to deny, hide and multiply

Increasing the number of enemies

You guide them so blindly, yet so knowingly

Your greed, your ruthlessness, the irony

It all will catch up, it will come from behind

Will it be too late?

Time can only tell, time stops for no one

To bad, cause soon you gonna wish you could rewind the time

Undo the brutal and unjust progressions,

Just merely digressions of a high powered manipulating hypocritical giant

Known no better than the U. S. of A.

Go figure.

Premium Member Into the Void

More vacuous verse to the void:
abysmal, of meaning devoid.
A reflexive spasm
sends more to the chasm
where anemic arts are destroyed.

Escaping, strange thoughts from my head
go written but largely unread.
Another deposit
to add to the closet
of words that are better unsaid.

So, in the crevasse this now lurks
with woefully wonderless works:
discursive digressions
regarding obsessions
with muses and quixotic quirks.

Songs of Power Let It Be

Songs of Power Let it be.

When the dark moments get unclear,
I feel lonely ,lost and directionless,
Mother, my guiding light is there to whisper,
Words of wisdom like diamonds that are priceless.

Ups and downs are a part and parcel,
Dear ones depart for some reason,
Hard times you should not bundle,
Each life has its own different season.

Feed your faith with those in problem,
And see nature answer your questions,
Converse with the silence of tulips that blossom,
To your worries you will get digressions.

When I wake up in the middle of the night,
Words of wisdom flow and tune in me,
My bones strike the music chord right,
Move on in life,LET IT BE.

The Hour

Dearest sol
Father of all
Greatest love of our mother
Grieving heart so somber

Our children are suffering
Extreme cold so crippling
Extend your reach
Your elemental hands should so breach.

Reach out for them as they clamor
To breath the air of your light
Beautiful sun, life giving wonder
King of all beings, you are our Father.

The light after the night so dark
The guide that points to rest
The source of fire igniting essence
The calm in cold and dire.

Strongest of all above
Powerful in your every rise
Omnipotent and innumerable are your works
Bold to become, to fulfill, to behold.

We live to wait for you to direct us
Each sign of your word enlightens us
We stand our ground as our mother told us
Sleeping under your eyes and waking to the dark.

We live it out till you come back with your heat
Come the hour of rest we are bestowed with such zest
Your soldiers with us look after us in the dark
And we praise you for your protection.

You lift us out of all digressions
You take good care of us with no limitations
Ours is a life fulfilled by your affections

Praise you almighty one
On days on end without your light
We fight the dark in fear of such vehemence
The red sparks that threatens our black sky.

Your arms envelop it and disperse it away from us
Bless you one who gives us life
Our hands stretches out daily for your fire
Bringer of heat after a day in the mist

Premium Member Dragons Fire

I Gezelda, goddess of the dragons,
bestow upon you, young one, this fire.
Use it to warm yourself. never do harm;
remember, you are a dragon.
Your dragon oath, you mustn’t take lightly;
for you were created by the greatest god.
Your duty to your people is
to keep them safe from wyvern winds.
Once Wyvern’s had the power of fire;
utilize it rightly, they did not.
Dragon-kind was given to Gaia;
to dragon-kind, was given fire.
Go forth my blessed, dragon-child
and slay the wyvern hoards tonight;
for they do harm for which, you’re blamed;
they will pay for their evil digressions.

Digressions From the Torrent : Take Fast Vitamine D Part 3

Take Fast vitamin D,
To get the head out of the water,
Stop the images process asks reason,
The images, in general, think of the TV, attack us,
One must know how to escape often,
To meditate in every possible silence,
In all the divine lights, enligthning lights,
Lights whose soul is strengthened, like a wild animal,
Let’s sort it out, get away,
We deserve the song of the rivers,
The song of mountains, thick forests,
That song where our voice echoes,
Above the valleys and busy men,
Above the dangerous chimes,
Deo gracias! Deo Gracias! Say these precious songs!

The Dying Is Sometimes Genius

From clearly worried shaky lips
Much surprising confident tips,
Less and less notice of sure death;
Moving her remains to a heath.
The Dying is, sometimes Genius
Digressions,can see,are ruinous...

A few minutes it'll be over
From then, as a fresh ghost,Rover;
She would first on her own roof perch
Next,on far-away Britain's Birch
"Son,peace make with whom you've wounded
But it must be body, not heart
Close friendship with whom you've hounded.
But disfigured not with your cart...

"I've heard you Ghost-In-The Making
Maurice shall his time be Taking".

Continental Drift, An Old Song

Unsuppression
Exact wild convoluted digressions
Dispatched rap to re ramp tan
Hide all important novelties
As I confuse the vile
Stagnations the ball sawed dust till
Legends found tall
Ballerina indignant
The definition that wouldn't kiss
She wanted rules in verbs
Out of poison
Longing for idiom
We played out a sunlight
So I could pass on to heaven
What he might
A long a line in times
Well righting zincs
Wipe after wipe
I built a heart she never lept

Four cloves to the heart did grow
And removed her shucks from my lies
