Best Deuteronomy Poems
The Farmer woke,
Before break of day,
And for a little rain did pray.
Then hitched his team,
And plowed the land,
Given him by the Master’s hand.
The Cowboy awoke,
And a prayer he sighed,
“Please give us rain, for the prairie is dry.”
Then in the heat,
He did rope and brand,
The cattle given him by the Master’s hand.
At night, before sleep,
The Farmer read,
The words from the Bible that God had said,
“If you’ll keep my Commandments,
In it’s season I’ll make it rain,
And you shall eat,
And your land shall fill with grain.”
The Cowboy fell asleep remembering,
A verse his Ma had read,
A promise God made and the words he said,
“Love and serve the Lord God,
And it shall come to pass,
That I shall make it rain,
And for the cattle, there shall be grass.”
So each resolved, in his own way,
To be a better man,
And follow closely the Commandments,
And there-fore save the land.
And though they never met,
They prayed for the same thing,
And watched the sky for the clouds,
And the rain that they would bring.
And though it was long in coming,
The drops fell upon the land,
And revived and refreshed these special places,
Given by the Master’s hand.
The Farmer and the Cowboy,
Each prayed for the land of which they were fond,
And through their belief, they saved the Earth,
Through the Lord’s Common Bond.

The word of God is our teacher
coming down just like the rain
watering our crop over it all
evenly spread never being in vain
God speaks from heaven above
seeking to distil it as the dew
through His authorative inspired word
drinking all His truth His people grew
We are like grass being so tender
receive the rain so gently spread
just like God’s living active truth
affecting our heart tenderly read
Showers pour upon the herbs
watering deeply down at it’s root
all for God’s glory to be shown
so it’ll sprout forth with good fruit
(‘May my teaching drop as the crain, my speech distil as the dew, like gentle rain upon the tender grass and like showers upon the herb.’ Deuteronomy ch. 32 v.2)

Field mouse woke up. Asleep for many years. It had grown a moustache and side burns. Oh how dreadful cried sally spider peering into the mouse house. How terribly unbecoming and unsuitable for holding the silver goblet at the halibut harlequin hall. Field mouse responded. In mind. In thoughts. Looking into the can that had been dropped into his hole by a two legged fiend. At least it made a good mirror. Although he was grateful that he was out at the time of delivery. The bars above. With the sun. Oh up there. No friend. Oh well. And proceeded to cut customise and shave. With other dropped prizes. Plus thefts. Spider grinned. And manicured herself. Silvery bed. Oh how wonderful. Field mouse in a suit. Spider in gown. Halibut hall. Dance. Supper. Stupors'. And nonsense talk of trapped tapered topiary's traditional traders. Good good good good good. next week new news. Great. DEUTERONOMY 11:1
I must love my Lord
For He's my God
Always
I should do what He tells me
For He's my God
As I should and shall keep His commandments
I should do what He tells me
Keep the laws of His words Jesus is the living word
As I should and shall keep His commandments
Always
Keep the laws of His words Jesus is the living word
I must love my Lord

The Lord God has profound truths
things secret to His majesty divine
for the Lord knows all things
in His eternal place, the living vine
This God has all divine authority
in heaven above and earth below
He is the one true ruler and King
all must bow before His throne, you know
To His own elect and saved people
He has revealed the truth of His own
for God, our heavenly father, loves us
as His son came our sins to atone
God's will is to reveal all His word
that His children know it, so to obey
this ever-living oracle brings life
to revive and sustain each day
Be thankful always to our God
praise Him for His eternal word
bo sure to obey this mighty Lord
take it in so your heart and soul stirred
(" The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.")

Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God
giving Him reverence and holy fear
for He is God alone final and fully
the one we should always hold dear
Him thou shalt serve
seeking to do His will
with all your heart and soul
keeping faithfully true forever still
To Him shalt thou cleave
holding ever near to abide
making sure of His guidance
all the way to heaven's side
And swear by His name
that you never will deny
holding fast to it always
right until the day you die
Then to heaven, you'll go
to receive your eternal crown
singing praise to your God
echoing the heavenly sound
('Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God; him shalt thou serve, and to him shalt thou cleave, and swear by his name.' )Deuteronomy ch. 10 v. 20 (KJV)

'And now Israel', so let's pay attention
for God calls His people to listen
with God's authority comes His word
everything's important for nothing is missing
His first requirement is to fear the Lord
live with holy reverence to God alone
be holy yourself obeying His word
listen well for He is your chief cornerstone
Next, learn to walk in all His ways
this means all that God says to do
take heed to obey Him at all times
be fully committed to God as brand-new
Loving God is so essential
learn well all He's done for you
see afresh how Jesus died in your place
taking your sin at the cross the Bible says
Finally, serve God with all you have
giving your full heart and soul
use your God-given gifts for Him alone
making His pleasure your heavenly goal
(“And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul,)

Moses declares here the Lord is God
for what great things God has done
since He created man on the earth
ask all of heaven's host God is one!
In the midst of fire did any hear?
God's voice has been heard and is alive
surely not for God is the Lord
the only one that can revive
The mighty works God done in Egypt
seen clearly before Israel's eyes
who heard God's voice in their ears
to be disciplined by the Lord on high
Through this means God showed His power
by bringing them out of Egypt so great
so they received an inheritance to this day
leading them through to heaven's gate
In heaven above and earth below
God reigns supreme there's no other
obey His commands and life will be well
with Jesus HIs son your elder brother
(The Lord Alone Is God)
“For ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and ask from one end of heaven to the other, whether such a great thing as this has ever happened or was ever heard of. Did any people ever hear the voice of a god speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and still live? Or has any god ever attempted to go and take a nation for himself from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, and by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, and by great deeds of terror, all of which the Lord your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes? To you it was shown, that you might know that the Lord is God; there is no other besides him. Out of heaven, he let you hear his voice, that he might discipline you. And on earth he let you see his great fire, and you heard his words out of the midst of the fire. And because he loved your fathers and chose their offspring after them[c] and brought you out of Egypt with his own presence, by his great power, driving out before you nations greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as it is this day, know therefore today, and lay it to your heart, that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other. Therefore you shall keep his statutes and his commandments, which I command you today, that it may go well with you and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land that the Lord your God is giving you for all time.”)

My Friends, Hear the words of the Lord
He's on your side always and forever
have your heart open always to receive
words of love, perfect love to deliver
Be very strong and so courageous
hold on to God's words with a full grip
never let go of His precious promises
following Jesus is a wonderful trip
The Lord your God is ever near
He goes wherever you do go
you have His presence ever near
with His sword to fight your foe
God gives you a very special promise
He will not leave you or forsake you
words that bring hope to one's heart
for God is able to bless you so to do
( Deuteronomy 31: 6
''Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”)

Many things he’d said carelessly,
The dumb are safe with made gestures
Not easy grudging their postures…
With words he’d just planted hatred
In the mind of Schuller Alfred,
Whom he said had gone to Rwanda
Only to come back with Panda…

In Rwanda no more anomy:
Who won’t try Brave Agronomy?
One should guess the whole picture:
The glib-tongued need a mute’s lecture,
Also, Eunuch’s Vasectomy
Or, best, God’s Deuteronomy.
