Premium Member Curled In Grandmother's Arms

As I lay curled in grandmother’s arms;
dreaming intently of butterflies fluttering.
Scented fields bestowing pungent charms;
where I envision honey bee wings a puttering.

Dreaming intently of butterflies fluttering;
weaving amid long blades of green grass.
Where I envision honey bee wings a puttering;
in the soft breeze that blows abruptly pass.

Weaving amid long blades of green grass;
I stalk a lumbering caterpillar marching by.
In the soft breeze that blows abruptly pass;
suddenly I am aroused by a doting sigh.

I stalk a lumbering caterpillar marching by;
scented fields bestowing pungent charms.
Suddenly I am aroused by a doting sigh;
as I lay curled in grandmother’s arms.

Curled Up With Shakespeare

I was curled up
with Shakespeare
on frayed pages
with dog ears

marveling
at the depth of words
nuances read
between lines

knowing that
many hands
had turned
the same pages

reaching
different conclusions
and evoking
myriads of emotion

my fingers
touched the spine
shivering
with history
connected
through thought
and with imagination
running wild

and I mourned
for the children
in todays world
who's Shakespeare visits
on flashing lights
and computer bites

lost is
the old world charm
such as Elizabeth wrote
and Robert devoured
ferociously

my tears fell
upon parched pages
leaving

an indelible stain
that would be seen
and felt by others
who reached and touched
the words

I realized that
tears on a screen
would only be
wiped away
without memory
of the emotion
that was elicited

leaving nothing at all
for history

to record...

Premium Member My Toes Are Curled

Today's a good one as I chuckle to myself
What could go wrong, am loved and in good health
On top of the world
My toes are curled
They point to the skies and my happiness swells

Curled Up

Her skin white, drained
Her expression dark, pained
Eyes staring out, completely blank
Hair lifeless, dank
Her fingers curled, still
In her mouth, a cyanide pill

Curled

Curling keys . A fork of bees. Pan out to the thoughts of temperature. Radius unforeseen. Ten laughing giggling elves on a trout trampoline. Policing the avenues of river and stream. While external energies arrive on a moon beam.

Twenty-six copper kettles sit on a shelf in a line. A horizontal view is never ideal in a cavernous vault of a dinning hall. One should not sip nectar of pea. Nor shout at onions. Tempt you not by the snow orbs melting on chocolate soup? Grateful to dishes are we? Great wisdom of cup.

Take no heed to jaded sperms of fallen ogres. Meaning is lost in an internal jelly of a plasma time. So go ride the tree then.

PHILANDERING. PICKING. PICKLE. PLACING. PLACE. PACE. PLUM.

the fleeting glance of Billy
old, but still handsome

Premium Member Curled Around Love

in the sweet echo of love,
       these moments in between,
feel the melody of me . .
let me slowly cradle around your song

- come, and get lost in my depth -

close your eyes as i whisper,
this is where you belong

Me and My Cove Curled Phantom

We race through the night
Our minds intertwined
Brazen abandon
Our only design

We swoop through the air
Her fine feelers quiver
A shooting star flares
We gracefully whirl

My hands on her back
I feel her deep purr
Tingling my skin
And stirring her fur

I feel her thoughts
As she feels mine too
Full of mischief and warmth
As excitement breaks through

Encouraging each other
Temptation is bliss
Daring to continue
We dive through the mist

Skim over the lake
Fresh liquid so cold
Reflecting our grace
Wild and uncontrolled

The stars light our path
Like a million fireflies
Melting into eternity
As we glide through the skies

The Cat

The Cat

??Licking, Licking?
Grooming himself
?Licking licking
?Scratching himself
?Licking licking?
Pampering himself
?Licking, Licking
?Biting Himself?
Yeah, How Gorgeous!?
All curled Up?
On the purple velvety mink blanket

Curled and Dead

I gaze into familar eyes
Washed they were in living lies

A lover's touch to blind the mind
Naive to one so inclined

Keys to heart all bent and broke
Weighted words that choke the throat

Flippant in fidelity
Bourban drink and stranger's fees

A love I thought we kept well fed
Lies at my feet, curled and dead

Lashes Curled Up

Masculine female
with little splats of femme
I like the boy in you
It's what got my attention
but your heart beats
purely feminine
your so unique
I I think I need a vitamin
to handle a dose of you and me
such intensity rarely exists
in the heterosexual world
I'll be your girl if you'll be
my girl.
you have little distinct features
that makes you irresistible
Cap on backwards
but your lashes are curled up
It's like the best of both worlds
and I am a sucker
she let you go
so now it's me you
should pucker up for.
