Best Confusiontruth Poems

Jaded

Shall I hide here in plain sight
Or spread my wings and take to flight

In the darkest corner of my soul
I dare my being to become whole

To know the truth may drive me mad
Am I evil or only sad

The truth eludes in every way
Should I survive another day

Alone and confused in my jaded mind
I look too deep what will I find

Fear of the truth inside of me
Alas it is but the truth that sets us free

Hidden Lies

Tell them what they want to hear never fear say it with good cheer,
Won’t hurt their heart if they see you smile; keep inside what
in light of day you really want to say.

Friend’s mates and all who care won’t shed a drop not a single tear,
You think they’ll never know cos you'll not  show the deceit you hold close;
Know them as those you hold dear always thinking they’ll always be near.

Laughing for if they knew you’ll soon be alone,
Stories you say hoping never to repeat for if you do
The truth be no longer kept.

Forever fearing will it be you or them that turn and walk; for by those words
You’ve been caught.

Shameful scorn truth less deceit yet the claim is made,
“Friends we are till the end.”

Unacknowledged

you're only young once

this isn't just some repetitive cliche

because it's done in my way

life can just portray

it's best and the worst

qualities, memories

delivering messages through loved ones

when really, the answers lie within

its only a goddamn sin

it's only about to win

nothing but pain, and endurance

hope and failure

life cannot be presumed

it cannot be expected

life is

what life is,

it's whats worth fighting for

and who you chose to fight for

who would you rather listen to?

A stranger or your best friend

lie about the truth in the end

or tell the truth without ever pressing send

life is just

this.

Poison Lies

the secret between truth and lies
gripping at the edge of our deaths
the truth hidden behind close eyes
eyes that wept with repent and sorrow
her,e lays the tombstone of our life
questions that will never be answered
the secret that could ruin our ties to our birth name
so lay me down to sleep, because the secret that dissolved between hidden tounges , is the
truths to lies!!!!
