Jaded

Shall I hide here in plain sight Or spread my wings and take to flight In the darkest corner of my soul I dare my being to become whole To know the truth may drive me mad Am I evil or only sad The truth eludes in every way Should I survive another day Alone and confused in my jaded mind I look too deep what will I find Fear of the truth inside of me Alas it is but the truth that sets us free
