Oh, Dream Sweet Dreams

The touch of cold enters my life,
the hands of time move faster
than the speed of light;
the spinning of the world
takes on a new meaning
as I lie awake in the
pitch blackness of the night.
What was, will never be again,
what is to come, still a mystery;
the night pours out of me
in thick droplets of sweat,
covering my shivering body
in a glistening hue of black.
All around is the silence,
except for the pounding of
my bursting heart;
what was real is now gone,
vanished into the darkness...
into the deep, dark crevices of my mind.
The images now distorted
whirl by for the remainder of
the pitch blackness of the night;
surreal is the only word to describe
this trembling, awful night of terror.
"Dream sweet dreams" we tell our children,
but the night can bring horror instead of joy;
"Dream sweet dreams" we tell ourselves,
but we know better than the lie we verse...
much better than the night we curse.

Knight of the Night

Knight of the night,
Fair in every way was he, his might unmatched and known to be,
as the only knight for the king to ever see,
oh knight of the knight, when the hour came,
mounted his trusted steed,
began a quest in search of the key,
unknown to others but himself,

Oblivious of the dark pitch night,
Knight of the night braved the bite of the of the deadly cold night,
and the mockery of the gazing moon above his head,
and when fatigue beckoned,
knight of the night had only to accede,

Laying his head on the grass,
along with his shield and sword of brass,
looked at his scared body,
each having a story to tell,

Stories that told of how he saved his king,
the king to whom he'd sworn his loyalty,
the loyalty that bound him to his king
and from His Majesty the King he did receive,
fame and fortune, and above all a name,

At that moment,
to his horror,
realized that the priceless key,
had been in the hands of the one he served,

He had all along been a slave,
a slave who had everything yet had nothing,
the nothing that had existed the same day,
he bowed before the king

He gazed hard at his sword,
the same sword that had served his king,
shielding him from his premature demise, the sword that had given him,
all forms of gratifications known to men,
that would be the same sword that would drink his own blood,
the blood of the knight of the night...

A Night of Dashing

A Night of Dashing

Little round circles, circles of red,
Peering out those lonely lashes.

Two little suns waiting for setting,
Relieved to know…the bright lights stop flashing.

Tiny little cries…”Turn me on with endless sleep.
Just you and me I say, if not for long we will be clashing.

At last we awaken, red no more,
With a gleam of excitement, for tonight’s night of dashing!

Your Bright Skies Has Darkened Mine

I grieved while you triumph for this
procrastination of time overwhelmed me
The darkest night i dwell for your bliss
I mourned for myself as hopes flee..

You invited me to dance somewhere
wearing your suit of lies I've tasted
Amid of your spell I shed a tear
and savored the venom of phantasm.

We have walked through the fires,
We have fooled people's trust
It burned the faith I admire
emptiness has shaken me alone.

I carried memoirs of your smiles
I endured wounds from your tightness
I sailed on the darkest night and it seemed
that your bright skies has darkened mine.

When We Are Together

WHEN WE ARE TOGETHER THE TIME IS SPEND GOOD CAN I FALL INLOVE I WISH I COULD
I'LL HOLD YOU TIGHT ALTHROUGH THE NIGHT AS WE SLEEP THE NIGHT AWAY COMING
INTO A NEW DAY ALNIGHT WE WILL SHARE EACH OTHER WITH THE HEAT COMING FROM
THE COVER YOU AND I IS A GET DEAL SO COME ON BABY AND KEEP IT REAL AND TELL ME
HOW YOU REALLY FEEL .

The Nights Madness

The spell of the darkness soothes my mortal skin,
That I, a mere human feel immortal.
With a new found reasoning, my mind grows more cynical.
That Even deaths glooming portal,
Seems to affects me no more.

That now even I roam the night with madness,
With the rest of the abnormal.

Amusing and alarming it is to me,
What the night does to your mind.

Nature's Party

Nature's Party came to town,
with its host Stormy Cloud,
big, bad and boisterous he was,
the night resulted in a call to the "fuzz",
Ladies were uprooted and thrown everywhere,
some were coherent,
others shunned the glare,
Accusations were thrown
and miscontrued,
apparently Stormy Cloud
became a bit rude,
taking the fall for all the other dudes,
was he involved or was it just wild chicanery?
Someone had wild night with a lot of revelrie,
framing the host and leaving destruction and carnage,
the result of traveling with lots of baggage.........
