Jealousy

She lays awake searching, for her dormant
Reality.
While his battle with jealousy is wicked,
A surreal brutality
Her heart crusted in deep sorrow,
As she drowns in despair.
He is plagued with negative thoughts of
Jealousy, evil and truly unfair.

while she is broken and torn she roams her
Home seeking sanity and relief.
Cold jealousy forced her into a place of grief.
Echoes of jealous filled words sting, she moves
Around in fear.
Whorls of gloom and hurt encapsulates her heart,
She cries longing for cheer.

Still You

I want to write about something...
Anything, that is not you
About you
Feelings for you
Or anything remotely close to you
But try as I may, you still become that 'thing'

There must be something I need to say
Or maybe something I need to do
I can't say or do it though
Because I can't figure it out either way

I feel emotionless
My face stares blankly at my page as I twirl my pen
Inside I know there are words longing to be freed
I try to shake you from me so I can focus
But it's hopeless

Maybe I do just feel nothing...
I doubt it though
But maybe I doubt too much
Stuck on looking for the pattern I know to repeat
But maybe the pattern has changed
Or something...

Since when did feeling fine become so odd?
Like I expect to feel pain
I guess we have reached a new path
A new pattern
The rocky road now paved makes walking easier
Not hand in hand, but side by side
Like friends... with no strings

"waiting On You"

The breeze passes through me on this hot afternoon....
Waiting and searching for some gems of words from a spoon....
The passing flies seem to know their way, a lasting impression
with still not much to say....
These lost souls make their way around,
like unfocused mirrors of a sadly worn clown....
My head peaks up to see if you are there,
I'm trying to write but I need your air...
No clouds in the sky as I find shade under a tree,
little glows of hope but I still stay free...
The conversations are faint as my longing starts to overtake,
off in the distance she walks to me as my yearning starts to bake....
Closer and closer till I hear your sweet voice,
to take this time and run with it is our only choice...
