Channels

“Channels”

Such a production
this forum of
gods, musicians
and poets
large feelings
orchestrated
for rapture play
through lofty
other,

opens,
channels.

Changing Channels

"Changing Channels"

We are all
drawn to the light
the silent voices
call us in
like we are
their addiction
components
waived
in the weighting
we swim in
our daily medication
like transparent vespers
We are all
drawn to the light
simultaneously
magnetised
and in our singularity
we consume our
unique polarity
solitary figures
dancing across
the stepping stones
strange keys
connected
inside us
the child...

Premium Member Five Hundred Channels

Five hundred channels and nothing to watch
Remember back when, we'd watch diddly squat
Didn't really matter
If the language was a clatter
We'd watch foreign movies not knowing the plot

Premium Member "three Million" Channels and Nothing To Watch

As I turn on my Plasma TV, right here in front of me.

This is what I find first:

 A Shopping Channel (so rehearsed)

The weather Channel (oh great, snow)

Cable channel music (Christmas music~slow)

Decorating Channel (oh, gee)

Discovery Channel (lots to see)

Spanish Channel (What?)

Infomercials (shut up!)

Food Channel (try and ignore)

Rerun Channels (such a bore)

News Channels (negativity)

Game Channels...

A Witty Moment

Month December had brought paddy harvest too. Father was busy in the field for harvesting. I was...

Channels

A stone castle in solitude
adorned with darkness and silver scratches in this night sky
a foggy atmosphere is felt
were you to take this path to never land
sound of insanity
heartbeat splinters through the silence
like hide and seek i am still dreaming
walking on roses like wine
ever flowing through the clouds
winding up the staircase as petals dance down...

Lots of Channels

Television sure has changed a lot
Since the days of just three channels
We didn't even have a remote
Now they have fourteen panels!

A channel shows what's on the others
It's a channel of channels of sorts
Channels for cooking, and movies
Lots of channels for lots of sports

Reports of the sports that are over
Music if you're over a sport
Watch...

Flipping Through the Channels
By Franklin Price
3/11/2018

Flipping through the channels
On this, time changed, Sunday morn
The network commentators
Politically committing ****

Presenting their agenda
Spouting their one sided view
To degrade the opposition
To see who they can screw

We participate as voyeurs
Watch the honored guests they slam
The truth is secondary
For the hosts don't give a damn

Asking very pointed questions
Elicit...

A Correction Like Victimization

Voices pitied her exposed bust.
In it few could see what was just.
Disgracing A Symbol of Lust?
Daughter of Adam: Plain Bare Dust!
Wearer of jewels which shall rust!
But does it warrant baring bust?
A wise correction is A Must,
Yet not through channels that disgust
Of wisdom wearing not a crust…

Wishes she were blown away by Gust,
Forever she’d...

Premium Member When the Channels Are Open

Distant strains of piano music
dance into my ears;
colors of vibrancy waiting
to take away my sorrows.

Somewhere black and white keys,
are laughing to the tickle
of nimble fingers;
that tickle my artistic fancies.

A canvas of Beethoven, Bach
or Mendelssohn fills my imagination
and my brush dips, ever so carefully,
into a palette full of elation.

The ecstasy of the arts,
spiritual adventures abounding.
The eyes,...

Channels

History repeats it's self, the violence of the world don't change,
the same cycle all over again. Change the channel, it's time for
something new. It's time for a change.

A solution to the problem, I can't hide from the troubles in the
world today. No matter how far you get in life, they only see the
bad in...

Channels

God said nothing, wrote nothing,
this is how the mystery works;

the soul of mankind is a radio,
a quill, pen, a stylus, or tablet.

The eyes of the mind are a TV
through which God speaks and appears
as You.

Once though He did use a tablet,
a stone one....

Channels

Turn the channel
Click click static burns
Ghosts tumble through, lost voices echo
Old channels Humm
Something upon the airwaves
Messages from afar
Drifting through nights
Echoing voices forever in time
Turn the channel
Images swim
Faces blur
Something comes in
Click click faces dance
Something stumbles ghostly and old
Airwaves fold and sound mumble and buzz
Change the waves
Ghosts scream old echoes
Channels lost and...
