Just By These Words

The effects the event the horizon the before and then the after the
miracle of life the hatred of death the

armor of military ensemble the unstoppable the plague the cure the
smiling down on a child frowning down on idleness

The lake the shore the hunger for more the rivers the streams the
sun that beams down on black white and

everything that walks and sings the lighter the flame the bridge over
troubled waters the fathers with no

daughters no the daughters with no supporters the poor that's
getting poorer the people that's out of order the

beginning the ending don't tell the ending the blabber mouth the
seduction the animal instincts the people that

dont think that's on the brink of disaster the boredom the
excitement the juror the indictment the irresponsible

the irreplaceable lawyer the war hero also known as the warrior the
God in me the energy the synergy

He is your majesty He's in me actively the creator the jealous one
The only one  the only begotten son the
God of Israel the God that heals so therefore I conclude that I am
healed just by These words

I Am

i am jacquelynn bloomfield
i feel depressed, guilty, happy, mad, and sad all at the same time
i say mean things but i dont really mean it

i am jacquelynn bloomfield
i see dead people and i go "crazy"
i dream about whats going to happen in my future which is college and everything else god
has in store for me

i hear things and people think im crazy but im not
i try my hardest to live the right way which is Gods way but life is so hard and satan makes
you do things you will later regret

Mr. Chocolate President

Dear, Mr. Chocolate President-elect...one half chocolate and the other half vanilla smooth.
America can now truly take pride in her name, the great mixing bowl of the world. Were the
descendant of an African immigrant and white female American could become the Forty
fourth President of the USA. One mans dreams once deferred now comes true...Were one
woman’s refusal to get up that lit a fuse.

Where once hatred made some people blow up a church and killed innocent children in
attempt to shatter that dream of equality for all of us. Where once upon a time a black man
would have died, just because of the color of his skin and not the content of his heart. Now
some forty years plus later...we all stand together united as one nation and prepare to
inaugurate our first Chocolate President!

We all now stand proud in knowing we all managed to get through the division that once kept
us so far apart and all have arose to the occasion were we can now truly look past the color
of ones skin and judge each other by the content of what’s in one's heart and words. Lady
Liberty take off your veil that does covers your eyes and take a look at what America has
done! Mr. Constitution take a break, no need for anyone else to debate your words...For
America’s people have spoken and delivered on those very words that were written! All are
created equally and now let freedom ring!

One Giant Leap For Black People

It was one giant leap when we landed on the moon.
It will be one giant leap for black people soon.
Over the years black people have come a long way.
They'll come even farther when Obama becomes President on inauguration day.
It was wonderful when Barack Obama won on election day.
It will be one giant leap for black people when he becomes President of the USA.

Way Back In the Day

Why back in the Day,
When Black people didn’t get there way
Sitting out in the field
Waiting on somebody to get us healed
White folks just relaxing
Waiting on them to take some action
Now I’m sitting here in the present
Still some things is not that pleasant
People getting raped and beat
Children and Adults walking with nothing to eat
Some kids going to school
Some THINK THAT’S NOT COOL
SOME ARE TAKING ACTION
Others are just relaxing
Some people just don’t realize
What’s in front of us we need to visualize?
With all those white presidents and know one black
Plenty of us don’t know how to act
It’s they history they need to know
When blacks folks didn’t have no where to go
Now I’m sitting here in the future
Waiting on a new life to begin
With Barack obama change has come to America
We just got to ask our self
Did change come to our plans?
