My mind is fuelled by the pain I trust
My fingers turn everything into dust
My heart avenges loss through use of lust

Fear will forget it took my mind away

Why when I bleed
I ran out of bandages?
But I was the one who
bought them in the first place?
Can’t I be allowed to cover up
my own wounds just once?
It’s overflowing now.
They took all the bandages
I’d bought.
I’m left with nothing
but the cut on my toe.
