Best Angstpeople Poems

People Like You.

People like you win people over with your smile & big brown eyes.

People like you know how to make people like me, fall in love.

People like you can’t stay in one spot too long.

People like you don’t wait around for people like me.

People like you don’t get their heart broken.

People like you just find someone new to win over.

People like you are too afraid to really let someone in

Seasons of Her Time

Yesterday

Found her isolated, abandoned, a whirlpool of pain and lies

Cold nights, she surrendered to the darkness, rainy skies

A sea of emotion built up in her heart, she suffocates almost dies

She let it invade and dominate, broken family ties

It was her but it's not her, no one heard her silent cries

Today

Finds her quiet, content and in control

Emotions held tight but the scared feeling never goes,

Fragile like glass it could shatter in folds

Of dirty anger, it seeps, cause unknown,

She's at a point with opportunities blessed

Yet the people disorientate the Happiness

Make her hate, burn, cry and confess

Confess ultimate knowledge she should suppress

It's out now, to destroy and distress

Tomorrow

Lies uncertain, she doesn't follow

Yet should she wish for love or expect sorrow

So undetermined, unhinged this Time is borrowed

Wise games are played; distorted and new ones are made

Everyday everyone falls in love and hate

Someday somebody always will retaliate

To this senseless situation, those that struggle will suffocate

So She continues to live and pretend

Seeks affiliation from lovers and friends

Yet the people disorientate the Happiness

Make her hate, burn, cry and confess

Confess ultimate knowledge she should suppress

It's out now to destroy and distress

But She lives on sinning, does she repent?

Time moves forward, Time is now content.

Why Lie?

Liar, liar that no one likes,
Lie, lie thats what people do the most,
The reasons why, no one know.
This world is full of lies,
Why God people lie?
The answers that I cannot find,
I don't like this world,
With passion God.
I wish you would take me,
Some where were I can have peace.

Of Thee I Wing By Phree

some people claim that i am free
now ain't that a god-damned gas
i assure you being as restricted as me
is a predominant pain in the ass

this isn't right
restricting my flight
And I'll tell you upon whom I place the blame for having grounded my wings
I hold accountable people like you who pluck my strongest and proudest feathers
one by one
so I may never again near the sun
every feather gone with another shackle and chain
but why, for what have you to gain?
yes
i blame you for hindering my plight,
because this just ain't right
you not only block my path
but you blind me to the brightness with your wrath
and so I fear
that orb is one this bird is never again to near
and the pertinent particulars are predicated on a predictable preponderane of the evidence
and the fact that I bother no one once I take flight
no, this just ain't right
alas, to me the time between the sun and moon is diminishing
as if, should I fly once more, it will cause some kind of astronmical catastrophe
without an apostrophe
while I await my fate
so guard well my path of quarried slate
and make certain to lock the gate
yeah yeah I know you think i'm errent in some capacity or other
and that hoard includes my mother
yet I still doubt your veracity
and am aware that you all think I'm wrong spelled out in neon lights at night
But remember, you can clip my wings
but you can't deafen your ears when this flightless bluebird of sorrow sings
            (c) 2011.....Phreepoetry

shoot, you can talk ad infinitum
yet I will always suspect your veracity

What the Hell Happens If Chicken Little Is Right

NOT MY LITTLE JOY

Everyone who knows knows it shouldn’t have gone this way
A friend I’ve had for eons knows this isn’t the way it should be
That such a threat be handed unto me
My ex-girlfriend Peggy will say the same
That such a strengthened opponent would summon my name
Just three years out of high school
Thought I was cool because those guys seemed cool
Only to be confronted and finally tormented by such a ghoul
Without question my parents would tell you “not my boy
Not my boy who blessed this earth with his birth
And oh how cute at only ten days old he could get up on one knee
Things like this don’t happen to him, my husband or me”
And they would say those exact same words only maybe paraphrased a bit
I feel like yelling loud enough for people for miles around to hear me scream “Holy S**t
This isn’t fair and I can’t bear the thought of such a callous end
After his doing things one such as myself could never defend
Looking back at all the people a hurt badly enough for their blood to run
And every single act of selfishness I have ever done
So now, as my every dream, plan and prayer fades
Maybe it’s righteously right that I would contact aids

I Got This Straight From Abe Lincolc Who Confirms That God Is, Indeed, Dead

WHOOF!
We are not all chasing our tails in the very same way
We are not all praying for the same thing every day
We are all just hopeful that he or she will come along
And we will find the embrace in which we belong

She’s chasing her tail with cockiness and guile
He’s using his witticisms and cogent smile
Other people use some subliminal style
While that one over there uses her tail to defile

There are people chasing their tails all around
And it’s discouraging not being aware to where you are bound
So we spin in circles getting to a place called “nowhere” with speed
All trying to get the satisfaction from someone else to fill our need

Our needs are invisible inside us but you can still see our tails
And some even resort to lies and deception when all else fails
As for me I’ve stopped chasing my tail and now simply chase peace
and if you ask me the cyber-deception should be sequestered and cease

Moan Voyage, Have a Nice Trip and See You Next Fall

MOAN VOYAGE

I see a great deal of people who smile
And say things such as “I’m going away for awhile”
Hell, I find these people vile

Now why would I use such a nasty word such as vile?
Perhaps because, as well, I am revolted by their style
I’ll give one of these people my shoes and let one walk in them for a mile

Oh but they’re so well quaffed and his clothes are fresh and clean
But man, I’ll tell you, he needs to see some of the things I’ve seen
You know, from the other side of the tracks where the grass is Kelly green

“Oh yes, she loudly whispers, we are going on a cruise”
S**t, alert the f*****g news
And I’d like to leave multi-marks of black and blues

So bon voyage you vile and vociferous crowd
And why must saying good bye on a ship be so loud?
Oh, because as they pull away from the dock they all feel so god damned proud

And I know it made a promise and to me took a vow
Yet the universe knows that I ain’t going no place no how
Not ever, and certainly not now
So I hope a huge tanker rams into their stately ship’s bow

The Knocker B

KNOCKER.B

Yes here we are in the great south land, (Australia)
right amongst the knockers be.
Don't stick your nose up or be grand,
they'll stomp yer like a flea.
In the land of knockers they take joy,
the newsmen shout it loud.
The business people they'll annoy,
if you died they'd steal yer shroud.
These up jumped yokels never were a cut above the rest,
the politicians know and hate the awful bloody pest.
But if you stand a little tall or stand out with the best,
they'll cut you down and paint you black put feathers in your vest.
Perhaps the country'd go ahead with out the knocker be.
if our monied people had the guts to back a prodigy.
Our inventors must go overseas to get a backer, gee?
no one to back the under dog, not cricket, do you see.

Our Word

Now participate in the rage
We collaborate in the riot
We can break free from this cage
The revolution cant keep quiet

Lose the loss and in particular love
For there is no room for this is the cold
We are what the fire beneath is made of
Through the future its our message thats told

Get them to give in to our tremendous force
Let them retreat while we fight until we're dead
Because straight to the underground is our course
Its for the people behind us that we have bled

And the riot is only to speak for the unheard
A comfortable gathering for a similar cause
Its the prayers that my people have answered
The prayers of freedom from these oppressive laws

And we will bring this nation ultimately to its knees
We can make this oppression and corruption cease
And our word will travel to all lands over foreign seas
But that word is not of war because we speak of peace

Please---Cancel---That---Meet----And----Greet

PLEASE CANCEL THAT MEET AND GREET

Instant insanity insinuates itself repeatedly but not on me
You know who they are because of their unconventional thinking
It’s the paranoid pathetic people as per that which I see
And those are the ones I blame for my drinking

Craziness comes crawling and calling too many times for me
And these people walk around saying “poor me-- this ain’t no fun”
Lunatics lay in wait for me to prove that which I see
Well these people ain’t sane so pour me, pour me, pour me another one

I cannot escape the inescapable
My time ain’t worth their’s or anyone
Especially not with the mentally incapable
And then these people try to get a license for a handgun

No, they want to argue to demonstrate what they are
In front of an audience on my home, the street
So I run to the nearest liquor store or bar
And these are the kind of folk you never want to meet

My Left Thumb Is Getting Tired

WHILE THE OTHERS………….

People are traversing Kilimanjaro
Others have important things to borrow
Still others are rafting in Colorado
And all of them looking forward to tomorrow

There are groups of people going down the Grand Canyon on mules
They are all filled with the verve and penchant yet I dub them all a bunch of fools
Some men and women are swimming with sharks for experimentation
While still others stand up and enlist for his country and nation

I hear tell of people who do good deeds just for the sake of doing good
While they patrol, guard, take pride in and clean up their neighborhood
A friend of mine has a Piper Cub and flies it high in sky
Then with nylon, rope, confidence and bravery he bails out to fly

People who are sympathetic and have the expertise to save a child
And all the ones who have the inclination to just act childlike and wild
Someone in this world is helping a woman who had a bloody trauma to her head
And while these people are doing those exhilarating things I’m using a remote
control in a comfy vibrating bed

Angry Am I Because Made Angry She Me

Now seriously I want one person to comment that this insults poetry the way many of you
boring, mundane and narrow minded people write who comment simply so that person will
comment back, it’s kind of like “Pay It Backward!
I AM ANGRY BECAUSE SHE MADE ME ANGRY

Do you know how difficult it is to stare at an empty chair?
Knowing all the while that never again will you be there
It’s a seat the passion of your soul used to fill
And now the room I sit within has an ever present chill

It’s cold in here without the warmth your bosom would provide
And when I walked at your side I felt a sense of pride
I’d stroll the streets proud that you were mine
And I’d swear you’re beauty had been grown upon a vine

Grown like royal roses in a Pasteur pure
And the sight of your empty chair is difficult to endure
I recall how you’d sit upon that chair and we’d simply chat
But now there are only my tear stain’s where upon you sat

So you may think it no difficult a task
But I have only one thing to ask
Do you know what it’s like to suffer such a view?
And how would you feel if that empty chair sat across from you?

ANY OF YOU MEDIOCRE, BANAL AND "HOW WAS THE CARIAR'S AT MARGE'S PARTY LAST
NIGHT" WRITING PEOPLE WANT TO TAKE UP THE DARE?!

The American Way

People try to tell me how to talk and it's damn irritating.
They cram political correctness down my throat and it's aggravating.
Even preachers are getting politically correct when they preach.
I guess people have forgot that we have freedom of speech.
I'll talk the way I want because that's supposed to be the American way.
I know for a fact that the world has seen better days.
I don't say Native Americam or African American; I say Indian and black.
I will have freedom of speech so people better cut me some slack.
Talk any way you want and don't worry what people have to say.
You have the freedom of speech because it's the American way.
