Premium Member Wake Up Oh Africa

With the heavy load you suffer
a substance not needed
yet drags you
cushioning your efforts
and deterring your pace, forgetting that
the Train is already moving
with passengers determined
for this journey.

Why get so distracted
by passers-by focused to catch up?
Why are you tossed side to side,
putting you each time,
a step backwards?
Can't you realize that
the Train is already moving
with passengers determined for this journey?

It seems you are the only one left
and this is solely your doing
with no one to blame
and the rest,
definitely have no added advantage over you.
So stop acting weak
cos the Train
is already moving
with passengers determined for this journey.

Wake up oh Africa!
you get your independence
just to become a volunteer slave.
You live in a Mansion
yet have no place to sleep.

Stop acting like a bucket of Crabs
killing each other
just to get out
and copy the ants
united and networking
for a common cause.

You fight for just a coin
underneath the Table.
When on it is a box
full of this same treasure.
Despite knowing how to reach out
to its top,
you neglect such knowledge
and accept conflicts, violence and wars.

Settling for good enough
is worst than being bad
you blow your trumpet
when you make a step
out of a thousand more.
You show unbelievable contentment
to mediocrity and under-achievements,
but remember this!
Half a giant is no giant at all.

You have the breast plate
of protection
and all the arsenals to battle
yet you dine with the helms of poverty
and embrace the ambassadors
of all kinds of infirmities.
You walk around naked
and seem not to bother
oh Africa!
Do you exist to actualize all these negativity?

An expert of imitation
and a professional in copying
no wonder no matter your trys
you end up as number 2 at best.
Because you've neglected
the sweetness of your originality.

You milk your cattle
to nourish the west
you harvest your crops
to feed foreign stomachs
you stand on abundant humus
yet your leaves are yellow and dry.

Exactly what will happen to the ants
if their Queen puts
their fate on the lizards
is what will befall you
not until you wake up oh Africa!

Premium Member Harris Tweed

Look deep within these loosely-woven layers to find
primeval land with ocean, sky and wind entwined,
skilled hands and eyes of generations gone before
and peat smoke mingling with a sea mist on the shore.

In old and intricate design you may well sense
a solitary piper skirling a lament,
or view the purple heather blowing on the hill,
or hear soft-spoken memories echoing still.

Some bold and joyful as a vibrant summer’s day,
and others tinted as an autumn bride’s bouquet,
some speak of wilderness and yet untrodden ways,
some melancholic strangers to the sun’s sweet rays.

With insight woven and a clarity of mind,
the rhythmic textures of the land we see defined.
With colours of the seasons, each piece of cloth unique,
of planet Earth and nature’s harmony does speak.

Revered now far beyond its island home,
a homespun cloth of gold it has become.
Ambassadors for Scotland, yes indeed,
that’s whisky, Robert Burns and Harris Tweed.

Premium Member Villanelle: If You Haven'T Had That, What Have You Had

Villanelle : If you haven't had that, what have you had*

If you haven't had your life, what have you had
In fear of what lies beyond the locked safe-door
Live you now the moment, not for what's ahead

Fear of what others may think, nothing's more sad
Yet if you abandoned all care, who'll forbear
If you haven't had your life, what have you had

Since James*, Mottram*, Barrau* live not a day dead
Yet don't they live safe as Confucian State's heir
Live you now the moment, not for what's ahead

Or do they live safe to be thought Reason-bred
The best of all the Worlds where Time's a mere snare
If you haven't had your life, what have you had

Walk Eternity back to Big-Bang zero-bed
What has no Beginning cannot End-fruit bear
Live you now the moment, not for what's ahead

No Future's secret the Yi Jing* has not read
Don't ephemeral hordes breed the Jün Tzu* to bear
If you haven't had your life, what have you had
Live you now the moment, not for what's ahead

Resources/Notes

"	Quotation from Henry James' Ambassadors : " If you haven't had that (your life), what have you had "
"	Henry James (American novelist), Eric Mottram (British poet, professor, critic), Aurélien Barrau (French astro-physicist, philosopher, poet)
"	Yi Jing : the ancient Chinese Classic of Change
"	Jün Tzu : the Noble or Superior Man, the advice given in the Yi Jing is meant primarily to distinguish the Superior Being, all the rest are mutatis mutandi " ephemeral beings " which makes one wonder if Life on Earth is not a mere breeding-ground experiment to produce the " Superior Being ", the rest - if you believe in " samsara " or reincarnation - condemned to be born again and again until they make the grade.

Copy Cat

6/8/17

Coming in faster than speed racer
Heart colder than a glacier

Trying to duplicate the flavor
Another clout chaser
With or without a pace maker
And bracers
Soft as a wafer

Yet another copy cat
You're wrong for that
Going to one up you chumps, with or without a hockey mask

For ages I've been at the bottom, reaching for the top
More than a lot
Attempting to plot and stir up the pot
Whether the temperature cold or hot
Like it or not
They'll get caught
And put on the spot
Having to pay the cost
For such foolish talk

Regarding any parameters
Days and nights may or may have not been spectacular
I guess there's always been scavengers
And bandwagoners
As well as opposition and challengers
Whether or not their ambassadors
During any date on the calendar
It was either solved or obscure, by any medical examiner
Above and below any fields with or without lavender

I Am Sure Because Jesus Said So

Someone asked me this question:
How sure are you that you'll go to heaven?
I said I believe in the Word of the Son,
Eternal life to all who believe in Him are given.

Jesus said it - that I will never perish,
That I have been bought with a Price,
The words of Christ is what I cherish,
I know He saved me by His Sacrifice.

Set free from sin and from judgment,
Brought out of darkness into His light.
From death to life -what Jesus meant,
No one can snatch me from His Hand..

I am of a chosen people, a royal priesthood.
Ambassador of the Gospel, a saint of God.
His Spirit works in me to do all good-
I'm sealed and paid for by His precious Blood.

Cynthia Buhain-Baello~~ ~~~03.03.16

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life." (John 5:24)

" I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand." (John 10:28)

"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a Price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." (1 Peter 2:9)

"We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God."
(2 Corinthians 5:20)

The Blossoms From the Tree of Life

When blossoms fall
From the tree of life
Their ash will feed its roots
And bloom away the strife
These ambassadors of hearts and smiles
And handshakes
These caretakers of souls
Theses brothers and sisters
And mothers and fathers
And husbands and wives
And grandmothers and grandfathers
And friends of friends of friends
Who hugged life with happiness
And white orchids
Who embraced the sick without fear
Who opened homes to students
Who joined faiths
Who shared humor
Who laughed with gentle spirit
Who cooked meals for neighbors
Who knew community
These blossoms from the tree of life
Of life
Of life
Blooming again and again and again
No evil shall stop these blossoms
More life will prevail
More trees will bloom
Like vines on hills blooming in the sun
Like wild flowers in fields
And rose bushes in gardens
Sweet roses, blooming for 97 years
Nothing will stop the multiflora rose
Or honeysuckle or wisteria or lantana
They will bloom in spite of prejudice
In spite of bias
In spite of hostility
In spite of this drought of kindness
These blossoms
Of Irving
Of Melvin
Of Rose
Of Bernice and Sylvan
Of Jerry
Of Joyce
Of Richard
Of Daniel
Of Cecil and David
Will come back year after year after year
And our Trees of Lives
Will grow taller and stronger
And beneath their shade
We all will rest in peace.

A Chosen Generation

A Chosen Generation

“9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; ” 1 Peter 2:9 NKJV

We’re all God’s children;
A Chosen Generation;
A royal priesthood for the Father—
A holy and special relation.
God has gifted us the talents
To represent Him here;
He’s called us out of darkness;
His marvelous light to share.

We are all equipped for ministry;
We’re God’s ambassadors.
The Devil would like you to believe differently;
It tells us in God’s scriptures.
We are here to serve others—
This Chosen Generation.
When we’re connected to the Lord,
We’ll gladly join His ministration.

By serving God and others
Our blessings will abound.
Great satisfaction and joy,
In such serving can be found.
Whether you preach a sermon
Or bake a pie for a stranger,
Both are important to God,
And considered His ministerial labor.

This Chosen Generation is important
In the finishing of God’s harvest.
Complex or simple labor,
By all must be confessed.
We must all work together—
Both the young and old.
It’s through us God reaches others,
To bring forth saints of gold.

Deacons and Funerals

Bringing spiritual togetherness
Congregation being the witness
Heaven’s call to soul’s come home
A place of rejoicing of an everlasting roam
The congregation giving a reflection journey
Deacons conducting the services as true ambassadors of the church
The ministry from the internal heart to being external in a rising mark
The home going of one’s life
Days on Earth being Heaven’s advice
Songs of redemption
Words of encouragement from God’s resurrection
A stainless glass church shade
These are the things reminding us Heaven has made
Deacons who keep the flow moving around the church
A finale established for while
A royalty send off being glorious style
The human soul all spread out
The praise surrounding is what Christianity is all about
A moment in the soul coming home
Deacons who are ministry in spreading the word alone
Flesh back to dust and the soul lifted up being a must”.

Family of God

Each person who makes the confession
That Jesus is Lord and God raised Him from the dead
And they are truly sincere and they seek God to live holy
Are all members of God’s family

All members of God’s family who are truly dedicated to God
All members of God’s family who are serious about being ambassadors for Christ have callings on their lives and one or more gifts they can use for the great commission

People make a big deal about the wrong things in churches outside of their own or even think their home church or churches within their denomination are the only good churches when the reality is anyone living by the Bible and have experienced new birth and at least have a strong desire to fulfill their duties to God are righteous

It’s not the churches that make the Christians; it’s the Christians that make the churches and leadership should always stay in tune with the Lord because they have double accountability.

Some of are Baptist, some Methodist, some Apostolic, some Presbyterian, some Church of Christ, some Church of God in Christ and many people in today’s time worship in non-denominational churches. And that’s just a few.

But, those of us who obey and have a true relationship with the Lord are part of God’s family and as far as the anointing only being in certain churches, that’s only true when we as Christians fail to bring the anointing to the table every time we go to church; it is our duty to help set the atmosphere and take our gifts outside of church walls.

Some of all preachers, some teachers, some speakers, some creative writers, some singers, some musicians, and some of us can do nothing more than cook or do hair and nails. All of this can used to build God’s kingdom and makes all believers fit into the family of God.

Remember, the family of God consists of the entire body of Christ and instead of all this division, we should screaming out to those outside of the family of God “There’s room at the cross; get saved today!”

Princess

I recall it was just the other day
Featured in the daily for which we pay
Your blown-up photo splashed across
The front page for all to gloss
Your background and your virtues extolled
For your wedding bells were soon to toll
With a king-in-waiting as the groom
You would wilt or you would bloom
For marriage makes or marriage breaks
And happiness, it gives or takes.

Demure and with dimpled smile
With an innocent heart, free of guile
The press was exuberant, so were we
You were the most charming in the royal family.
Welcomed all across the globe
The royal couple widely roved
Ambassadors of all things good
Displaying virtues like royalty would
You touched hearts wherever you went
Concern and compassion were your strength.

You were blessed in due course
With two sons that God had chose
Then differences with the prince surfaced
And you lost face, where you once graced
And while your marriage began to flounder
Your man, the prince continued to blunder
On the treacherous rocks of marital infidelity
You were shattered – your happiness was the casualty.

You decided to go your separate ways
Those were also the wishes of the palace
The trauma of separation was sheer hell
The ways of royalty were beginning to tell.
Now, hordes of newsmen invaded your privacy
In your land and beyond, you became a refugee
The air was also rife with rumours
Of liaisons and friendships and misdemeanours
Your saddest day though, was the divorce
Of you, whose touch was like the kiss of a rose.

And alone, sweet Princess, you forged along
Your grace, in adversity, inspired many a song
Of worthy causes, you were still a crusader
And you remained ever, a loving mother.
It is said, you had found love at last
And the leech like lensmen went wild with thirst
For photos which augment tabloid sales
They chased you in cars and astride motorcycles.
For you, a Parisian tunnel was the end of the road
You didn’t reap in life, what you had sowed
And while your life ebbed within the wreck
The paparazzi zoomed in, to make hay off the break
Your blood-spattered close-ups drove them to frenzy
As you lay helpless, unattended and in agony.
And later in the night, mercifully all was darkness
The world woke to a tragedy caused by sheer madness

The Last Kick of a Flying Horse, Not the Last Kick of a Dying Horse

- matric dance 2017

We are Ambassadors,
We are Ambassadors Embarking on a new journey,
Reaching out, towards the future
That is glittering like the sun
Its warmth melts resolutions of today
We could mold awards for tomorrow
Walking on a new track
Leaving better tracks for our brothers and sisters
The first 3 laps we've ran with fears
Now let's pause and oil up the gears,
Before hitting the lap that is the last
Destiny is not a precast
We kiss no frogs,
Excellence's delegates
We bite a bunch of disposals
2017 is ours or the hard way
Flocking for the future,
Becoming a rainbow on the color grey
Becoming the delight of the day
Sweeping the dreams in one place,
Not forgeting to keep more sweat on the face
Bitterness fading, eating sweetness, I call that being fruitful
It is in our hands to make the future beautiful
We only got one chance,
But before we can - let's have a dance!

16th November: Bodo Literary Day

Still winter season today
We don't tolerate cold, take today
Hard more than warm sunny has too be
We didn't bore still today
We shall hoist the flag in public.
Literature has escaped from the gust
Literature of the new agreement, both floor
All language culture show.
Legs then gave out the grass we bend
A small drop of dew from water to revived,
Today our hope has an open heaven
Where the narrow range won't expect.
O greet persons
O bore can't ambassadors
O heroes
O martyrs
Today we are the only flight leg to bend grass
From Grass bend water sprinkle peace to you today.
You people's soul has been happy
You people's learned philosophy
Ever lasting for live.
Bodo goes live
Bodo culture live
Bodo literature be open
Win would be the mother of the bodos.

YEAR 2024

What I said
last year,
I can still saying it
next year.
Year " 2024 " may be
an excellent year
to all ambassadors
of love
and peaceful
poets
in the entire
World.

A year of change
of some criminals
in the entire
World.
Oh! Yahweh Lord
Let me witness
The change of more
evil forks
In 2024

I will glorify You
At the end of the Year.
