If I Could

If I could write a poem now
A lonely cloud, this page I’d fill
With Wordsworth or a word’s worth
I’d fill this page with daffodils

Now the words, they don’t come easy
The great ones tell you it’s a skill
But I would rather be a fool
And fill my head with daffodils

There is no rhyme or reason
No belles lettres, no fancy frills
That, like a dewdrop, glistens
Upon the yellow daffodils

If I could write a poem now
Neither would my pen nor soul sit still
But would twirl and spiral to a tune
Dancing with the daffodils.

In Vogue

Hermetics heirs presumptives of, harum-scarum....
Speculum's mist beyound the threshold paints this night
With colours dipped in oils vibrant shadows of avatar's
Soothsayers spring tide canvas' framed by
Buteos zenith ~
Vantaged splashings from upon, the avant-garde's
Separtist spaces amid such, moments; tembres these
Belles-lettres', artesians wells of euphemisms eulogies towards this
Hexagon's phoenix now vivified from yesteryears
Bittersweet nightshade personified; segues seignior!? Renaissonic refurbs.

When Love, Is All That Remains

Kissing her gently a dayspring, Daphne, in streams of light....
Chromatic chiffon curtains; their greating be this dawn ? Ornamental
Stitchery time's storybook soft, lashes fluttering while she dreams so, lovely
Tranquillity greeting his dawn silk cocoons; baroque, love's palette panacea's brush
A picture's window framing these strokes oscilloscope, paschal tides ? Scholastic waves
Embracing her shores palatial's mistress; free verse chrysanthemums, with gossamer wings
Belles-lettres, this beautiful damsel ? Novem she sleeps cascading locks a prophetess; silverish hues.
