No need to look good to others
What good is not necessarily good
Just remain true and honest to yourself
Others who have heart and eyes knows what's good
Be a good person not a pretender
For those in Pawnshop knows fake from good
Life is a good experience when you do goodness
For good things beget good things.

I woke up this morning
To behold an adorable Angel
Lying beside me in deep sleep
In total surrender to the call of nature
Goddess of beauty
Sleep on my darling
For you are deserving of every rest
To rejuvenate God’s delicate creation
If I could express how I feel about you
Millions of words would be inadequate
If I could show gratitude
For care and love through the years
I would melt in avalanche of emotions
If I could choose again
Who to spend the rest of my life with
I would choose you
Over and over again
If I could beget more children
You would continue to be
The beautiful vessel of creation
For I love you eternally

How fast is a shooting star?
Meteor showers are amazing.
I saw one the other day.
Some meteors collide with us at a hundred miles per hour.
Aren’t you glad when the reach earth they are the size of a grain of sand?
It makes me wonder though
What happens if they come in at that speed
And hit your skull?
Do they become part of your brain?
Does your body ingest them?
Do you spit them out in gaseous form?
Inquiring mind wants to know.....

My regrets lie hidden below the murky surface
of my emotional seascape,
threatening to pull me down,
like wet woollen wet weather gear
drowns a sailor who falls overboard in a storm.
For regrets are arcane debts never to be repaid.
For the done, cannot be unpicked re-done, nor undone,
and getting over it, needs an account transaction,
to balance the debt, with savings from the good times.
I seldom count my regrets, nor mention them in balance sheet.
For many are too painful to bear, even one at a time.
Going back, reliving the prologue, is a bitter aperitif
to the main course of 'What ifs' dished up with 'If Only' sauce.

Shall I beget a memoir of your fairness?
Shall I compose words about you?
Shall I beget a poem that will live through
Centuries and sculpt your history in the poem?
