Safe place for the meaning — in couplets of rhyme
the words taking shelter in moments sublime
Their message unfurling — new harbor in sight
the tempest becalming in lines of delight

Homey Hiatus, Hiatus Homey
Noble nascent notice nature,
frequents features fertile favor,
charming colors cure complacent,
notice nature, noble nascent.
Subtle stages stylishly sort,
pledged perianths pleasures purport,
artless aiming accrue ages,
stylishly sort subtle stages.
Weeping Willows wigwag waters,
often ogles overt otters,
eaglet escapes easy expose,
wigwag waters, Weeping Willows.
Becalming boon blamed babbling brook,
lingering lulls laboring look,
saunters solely scenery strewn,
blamed babbling brook becalming boon.

Why would it matter,
why would you care
Voices becalming,
breathless unpaired
Freeing the Dharma,
released in the air
Transcending today
—immortality shared

Although my spirit wanders free
Across the hills, across the sea,
It does reflect a beauty’s glow
Within my soul’s eternal flow,
For precious is grace, bright as dew
Evermore we are always true,
That in moments lost in hours’ pain
Sweetened laughter comes back again.
To allow love I have inside
Keep blossoming, and never hide,
Through your devotion always known
Never could time leave me alone,
And feeling warmth becalming me
I close my eyes so I could see
Your face that waits along the way
Each smile gleaming, blessings we replay.

Fighter
Be a rebel be a fighter
end the darkness light a lighter
it is your time burn brighter
be bold take action not just a talker
much more of now never later
world is fast gotta be a catcher
don't look down it won't be better
it's all you be the trend setter
Independent
It's your life for goals to set
your opportunities past not to let
courage inside don't you fret
you'll make it big that I bet
standing on two take conquest
do wonders you're you're best
don't ponder looking at the rest
walk the path you never set foot
Strong
Fear not to ever be wrong
do not sing the same song
the road is windy and long
settle not never be becalming
move swiftly like poem rhyming
taking affirmative action headlong
strength is in action never prolong
do it now you are surely strong
True
Let not petty stories be your colleague
truth be a virtue that one should pursue
let not people cloud your view
in matters closer of higher value
many never seem to have a clue
matters commented views so vague
principles should stick hard as glue
truth is what will be your rescue

To let me rove just once again
To feel the silver sighing rain,
And let me wander one more time
To watch the heavens as they climb,
Is all that I can ask of you
For there is so much more to do,
So many things of treasured worth
Before I leave this precious earth.
To let my spirit wander free
Across the land, across the sea,
To let reflected beauty glow
Within my soul’s eternal flow,
Is all that I can want from you
For you and I were always true,
So many prayers lost in the rain
Until they wander back again.
To let the love I have inside
Keep blossoming, and never hide,
So many wondrous souls I’ve known
So often as I’ve been alone,
I felt their touch becalming me
And closed my eyes so I could see
Each face that waits along the way
Each smile that shines, each Prayer they say.
To wait until the sun goes down
Until the sunlit days all drown
In liquid golden evensong
Upon that hill where I belong,
Where faces wait in patient lines
For every feeling life defines,
Until they all meet up again
Beyond the realms of grief and pain…

EARTH:
Blossomed and beaten, then nurtured and tilled,
Burnished and buckled, soon blackened and chilled.
Partisan, personal, some conquered and fought for,
Torn down and built up, all bartered, yet paid more.
WIND:
From every corner they blow, shrill cadence and call,
The moist warmth of spring, the crisp cuddle of fall.
They will ravish the birds, they will ravage machines,
Wild whimsies of women who are caught in between.
FIRE:
He crackles orange glee what our passion remembers,
Popping scarlet orbs swiftly from footprints in embers.
All forms he has known from a cave mans' first shout,
He is quite lovely to look at, but truly deadly left out.
WATER:
Surging and crashing, cresting angry steel gray,
Receding and cleansing, churning vivid green spray.
Now becalming bright topaz, her skin liquid jewel,
She beckons the sailor and beguiles the brave fool.
All stood before time as steadfast witnesses would.
God creates, not abates. We can not. But HE could.

She, the golden shrine I worship at,
bedecked in satin white and stainless;
where windows torn by tearful rain,
dried and gleamed transparent. Painless
now my eyes, alighting doves becalming,
track their paths and their descent
depict their flight and feathered land
upon her soft magnetic hands. Charming
the birds down from the emerald wood,
for primal nerves sense beauty reverential,
singing songs of sky and cloud
and lullabies of twilight fall. Sentimental
fool I may well be, but grasp the truth
of her utmost worth and sacred feeling,
her chrysalis grains of mercy
bloomed to butterflies of purest love. Stealing
each glance and chance to be close
to her, the love of all my life;
she, the golden shrine I worship at;
she, the golden shrine. My...
