Soldier
They march as one as a unit
With discipline they stand lucid
Into battle, they are ready
On a narrow path feel their furry
As bullets fly by
In combat they are brave in the sky
With courage in green they protect
For we will never forget
War is upon us all
All four branches in the military stand tall
In the desert there is difficulty
On the front lines it is bloody
With honor they protect with their lives
Silver in hand is sharp like a knife
For they are so far away from home
We acknowledge the sacrifices you made, you are not alone
Camouflage painted in green and black
We thank our soldiers for coming back
While the plains fly high in the sky
Our military troops fight, we will never say goodby
A lonely road is unforgiven
As Americans, we will lift your burdens
In closing I write this letter for you
In testimony I can’t thank you enough for what you do
Our enemies drew first blood
With armer and guns, we’ve all had enough
To all those who have fallen hard
We give back with honor a purple heart.
It has been a long journey under the sun
Lay down the violence for it is done.

Bring a character to life.
I bring a character to life
Like video games hard core and might
Her eyes is white a glowing
Like mutant with all her glory
In dark leather from head to toe
Her armer grow every second she glow
Defeating enemies from every angle
Her powers grow like mother nature with every flow
Call in the elements of air, earth, fire, water.
They all obey for she a earth sign which they know
Resurrect all the ancient warriors and on the go
Her anger grew even from her chant it show.
I bring the character to life. And make it grow
Like a video game that we all know.

Awoken by sunlight, drifting in
through the shades, out of the warmth,
towards the light.
Heart accelerating with each step.
Draw back the curtains and splashed
with blinding light.
A sparkling wonderland,
a world to conquer.
Now outside bundled up,
in armer,
movement restricted,
frolicking along my dog,
with armer of her own,
follows pursuit.
Hours pass and the wonderland is almost conquered,
the sun begins to die
and my dad calls my name,
my conquest has to end.
Bounding up the steps
along with my dog racing to the door, face frozen,
nose red, enter into the house.
Warmth wraps around me,
encasing me,
peeling off layer after layer of clothed armer,
my dog is next to lose a coat
and then bounding together towards the kitchen where
chocolate fills the air.
Now besides a roaring fire,
on my dad's lap, snuggling
with my dog and hot chocolate in hand a contented
sigh...
sweet dreams are sure to follow
