I wouldn’t mind my mind,
If I could get out of it for a while.
Just get away, and leave it all behind.
This would be my idea, and I think it would be fine.
I’d go to the shores of a sunny peak,
Or into a valley with gold paved streets.
I’d find a peaceful flock of people who,
Love the wind, the songs, the truth.
I’ve never witnessed ice cold melt,
In a kettle of surreal anthropopathy,
Or victoriously unraveled a stone,
Through extreme heat’s immense intensity.
Although my mind’s time is coming,
If it were now, I’d walk before I crawl,
Or be one step faster, than tall.
So what’s my chance, to be a gamer at a dance?
No, I would steal the show.
I must trust, that I’ll break down and cry, before I bust.
But what about Mickey, Mack, Mike and Jack?
Do they too get to play a round of hacky sac?
Leave it to them to lastly change their minds,
While I take some time to unwind.
I’d better leave a letter saying, “I’m dying!”
No, hang in, hang out, I’ll be fine.
I’m proud of it, and won’t sit,
But stand as a man, doing all I can,
Being stood by the ultimate Man,
Of the eternal plan, whom I can and will meet again.
