Today is my parents 60th Anniversary! I wrote a different poem just for them but to celebrate on Soup...this one.
Do you feel the air today? Your breath as diamonds fill the space. The jewels cascading, twirling, romancing. Did you notice your feet no longer touch the floor? Floating, in disbelief; gratitude at the forever after spice of life. Your wrists ribbon’d together — It’s been a pleasure. Time moves so fast but it’s so full. Paradise could be so sweet underneath the moon and stars. Thursday of your dreams. Diamond Jubilation — Fills the trenches of your cheeks Young at heart and awfully sweet. 1/9/2020
