A Blessing From The Sea

Buy fish directly
Ship from the sea
It's clean and cheaper
Raw and crispy sea fresh
You can immediately cook
Make sushi or ceviche
Do fish soup with veggies
Directly process dried fish
Make fish adobo or smoke fish
Creativity is an urgent right away.

The Wonders Of Spinach

My favorite vegetable
It's nutritious and delicious
Used in sinigang and adobo
Good to make for soup too
It's easy to farm and produce
Less maintenance and less work
A short crop but has long harvest
A sustainable source of business too.

Adobo

this is your recipe for adobo:
a portion of brain --- yours.
don't have one?
take mine.
a piece of your lungs --- no wait.
here's a cigarette: spice.
take a teaspoon of tears ---
yes, yours.
turn it into stone --- this my
teacher told me.
your concoction is ready: stir,
stir hard.
now try it --- just try.
you'll need it later.
when you break your heart,
it will come in handy.
by then you will need that portion
of brain: think,
think good things.
that piece of smoked lung --- breathe,
slowly.
that tear that is stone: melt it
into tears again: cry
