If God had to write a poem
Being the best divine writer
Ever
This poem
Would have been very simple
No words
No swords
Writing on the parchment
No, this is not a sample
Of his mysterious accoutrement
Just blank pages
For the ages.

SAY CHEESE
A block of blue with some scrumptious salad veins.
White american melted over my toasted hot philly
and wizz creatively squirted on crackers entertain.
Stinky limburger a treat — a clothespin-nose silly.
Shredded, sliced or block —
I’ll hide cheese in my sock!
Cheddar logs, mild and sharp, on holiday platter,
I’d eat til sneak-Santa swaps for cookies and milk.
Boursin smoothed out over snackable treats and chatter.
When the kids go to bed - white wine and saanin silk.
Ooh the smooth and yummy
melt and grilled in my tummy!
A fondue pot with skewered vegetables and bread,
so gooey warm and stringy strung around my tongue.
Weighed out in ounces, yellow and white wed —
marbleized, or a brie wedge for the old or young.
Peeled and spread with
accoutrement blithe!

Cinnabar sentinels stand swaying in the mist of morning
through whispered hush and gentle breeze, like jewels , the leaves adorning.
Cool the streams in cresting waves float laurel barques of prizm hues,
washed past bulrush and fading ferns, through the bows of bending yews.
The fields of amber swaying grain, like dancing partners, svelte and lithe
as harvest time leaves nature's tithe, when cut with sickle and scythe
Too soon the cold of winter comes as frazil chokes the meadow brook,
and crushed vermilion petals fall in seasons ever bending crook.
Yet, now the dancing rainbows glide from crown to bough to lowly earth
where Autumn's fashion runway show, awaits next season's rebirth.

All right, I admit it.
It's hopeless, and I have no shame.
Fact is that I may say what ever I wish,
listen back without a reddened countenance,
shed all compunction, even modesty
if my accoutrement begins to interfere.
Yes, I am smitten; the hours disappear
when we are face to face.
I'm lavish when the passion flows;
heat best serves emotion as it cools.
Manipulation with my fingers only shows
that I'm aware of all the tools
progressive schools of thought may teach
the tender-aged as well as touch
the ones of aged tenderness.
And of my lips?
Well, not so much; they cannot
perfectly express my ardor now.
This autocratic ancient lover finds himself
content to have technology supply
the object of his worldly desire--
this computer is his one and only
paramour, inamorata, fire.

A wife in each tent
My hearth a tenement
Fecund grove lofty sentiment
Cultivating each manicured accoutrement
Family tree planted in oasis of wine
Fertile sprouts a fruitful sign
Pristine shoots pure genetic thread to enshrine
Concubines to further seed family line
Pods proliferating in an ocean of brine
Hybrid progeny status will assign
Grafted branches of patriarchal vine
Strong arm, domesticated wings to align
Sinewy twine to encumber free-flowing bine

The man had many things
aye?
Purple hearts and wings
ecouter?
His gold bars were just amazing
aye?
Once dressed he was simply dazzling!
