Nights i spend being an owl
Doors i lock,windows i open
Stars,silence and my soul
Try to mend what is broken
Solitude has its own taste
Removes the burden of what, when, but,if and why
Makes the soul purified and chaste
Peace dominate and worries fly
you are to me as moon to night
Difficult it is to ignore beauty
Even in chilling darkness everything seems bright
Praise and acknowledgement is lovers duty
Stop being wise and try insanity
To be filled with delight you need to be empty
Absorbtion of beauty is all vanity
Calmness you get and love in plenty

Who am I and for that matter who are you?
This is a good question to explore for neither of us are the same person who we were the day before.
As we enjoy another 24 hours living on this orb we are changed both you and I by the experiences we absorb.
Everything we feel…every person we meet throughout our days
we absorb…and that changes who we are in vast or subtle ways.
Whatever good or bad happens to us…it’s all a part of our growth.
And if we’re lucky once absorbed we’ve learned a little bit from both.
And if we’re truly blessed from the experiences we’ve had…
at the end of the day we’ve absorbed more good…even from the bad.
So when asked the question, Who am I…I guess the best that we can do is to answer who we are right now for in one minute we’ll be somebody new.
Because who we are in the next minute…or tomorrow as we live another day upon this orb depends not only on who we were…
but on all the new things we’ll absorb.

Weakened by the illnesses of life my body required
assistance to breath. It progressed to the machine
totally doing all the work.
Life can wear you out to the point of a wringed out
towel at times that does not allow anymore
absorbtion. Then another has to sponge up the
moistures of your daily life.
Incredible are the healing abilities of our creative
bodies. But in the space of time lost could it be
possible to forget something one was never
taught to do?
Time to breath on my own now but strangely I needed
a reminder every couple of seconds as the machine
was slowly turned off.
And for the briefest half second there was a moment
of panic in not knowing how. But then it returned.
As the sunlight of healings clarity shinned the
appreciation of the necessity to unfold that towel, wash it, jo
hang it up to dry and dry off my daily mist of
life's responsibility's.
Valuing the ability to breath. .

The record's set.
Let it spin the room.
The light is already out.
Pouring down the window
on us, on the vinyl.
We'll listen
and plant.
Inhale
and dream.
Shimmer.
With words and sounds.
Light and thoughts.
With people.

Slip away for a moment
Into yourself
Listen to life’s sounds fade into fog
Kin to a hawk sighting possible prey
Awareness sliding into focus
Gaining momentum as you sink
Aspirations of creation
Inspiration raising neck hairs
Such is the way of selfish
Transferring feelings to thought
Making believe for the joy
Younger and older at once
Can this be held for the nonce
Held in contentment lazily lax
Even as sweet Summer rain
Ever adance on smoky glass pane
Ken ye the source of my pain?
