Zorro's Revenge

There once was a naïve Southern lassie
who believed some politicians classy.
She swallowed all of their guff
like an Emp'ror in the buff.
and soon found out there was NO guarantee.

She soon hired a civil rights GO team
who championed not one of the fine cream
They got lots of work
for ladies named Dirk,
but that was not what she wanted it seems?

Thanks for sharing with us this witty n intelligent write describing the present universal situation of corruption n disappointment...one man's loss is another man's gain...it is so true! n thanks for your gracious comment on life, it's hard to say if i meant "live" or "leave"? although i pacify myself by not stressing on the letter "i" of the word "live"...

No offense taken. Had a great laugh! I like this one a lot. By the way, I'm a lifelong Democrat -- just disenchanted with the current group in D.C. Sort of middle of the road, really, voting for candidates, not parties. This is really funny, Deborah. Sorry for the confusion -- only John has the entries now. He hasn't sent them to me yet. Love, Carolyn
