Notes About The Poem

This poem, text only, is included in my latest Book/eBook ‘Clive’s Uni-Verse – A Cornishman’s take on life’.  ISBN13: 9781800743342 published by Olympia Publishers in Jan 2022.

Zebra

The zebra:
An optical illusion
That tricks your sight,
Not colour, not HD ready,
But just in black and white.

An African sales success,
Of great pride it’s the source,
Cleverly marketed as …
A bar-coded horse.

What a wonderful write. The humour and visuals are so vivid. So cleverly conceived. A favourite, and a joy to read. Pete.
