Zeal To Serve God
To serve the Lord God with my utmost best…
Such gives me wondrous zeal*
Driven by grace for divine quest
Bearing love’s seal.
Vanquishing boredom midst slothfulness’ blight
My faith strives to work well
Beseeching Holy Spirit’s might
As I excel.
Propelled to continue despite hardship
Braced by Almighty’s hand
My heart seeks for blissful worship
Oh, blest demand.
Joyful in fulfilling ministry roles
I’m a yielded steward
Thanking the Saviour for great roles
In His safeguard.
