Yours To Hold

Do you need me
I'm sorry, it's a bit abrupt
but I don't have much time
I'm in need of saving but without a savior
Will you rescue me
but wait how can you if you're hours away
but wait how can you if you barely know me anyway
Do you need me
if so, rush to come get me
the water is rising and I'm just stranded on an island
I'm covered, showered with scars, my angel
please turn your gaze
I hate for you to see me this way
My angel, I'm sorry
I am a demon inside, a good kid cursed with bad tendencies
How could you understand if you're not me
Do you need me, I can see it now
I won't make you happy, I'm so numb inside
You're beautiful, loved by everyone
you'll move on just fine
Do you need me
I hate the world but I love you...
yet I can't stay alive anymore
Do me one thing: just remember I was always yours to hold
Do you need me, I'd never make things better
Do you even care...do you even care..
