Yours Are You

We have them, we own them.
To us they’re the same but to you and me they’re different
Some say that they make us
Some say that they break us

See them, feel them, they can heal us.
Guard them, control them, they can bleed us.

Appreciate your life and what celebrates you
Never underestimate the power of the drive of what makes you.
Take time to listen to your mind reflecting the real you.

No other living being can take them.

Memories.

Yours are you.
