You'Re Fired

No disrespect to my American friends, Trump is your president, that’s totally whack. But ‘Leader of the Free World’ that madness ends. Such arrogance puts a target on your back. Democracy’s nose like news media bends North Korea’s a fraud, Gepetto’s a hack. Bombastic tweets, is this the new politics? Turn off the ego tones down rhetoric. If you read this, love it or hate it, please leave a comment. You don't have to agree with me, it's just my take on a delicate subject. This is a platform for dialogue and free speech; tell me what you think.

G'day Phil … for this bloke to be president, the American people must have voted him in. From the outside, do we see the U.S. infatuated by TV and Movie personalities, or was he the best of a bad lot of candidates - thanks Phil - Lindsay

Thanks for the visit, Lindsay; from the outside it looks like the American people were duped but now I think the Russians had a big impact on the election. Really is hard to believe they didn't know who they were getting. Anyway, have a great day.

I think the world is upside down and backwards, and I had never been more AWARE than now that we are no democracy at all, but a republic, ruled by overpaid republicans who represent themselves and their arrogant buddies, not the people who have elected them in any way. You are right, though, he-who-shall-not-be-named is a master media manipulator. I will give him that.

Totally! I, too, have never paid as much attention to politics as I do now. Its time we rise up and tell/show our leaders we are not accepting this type of government where officials have no moral compass to guide them ~ hence the sh*t flows downhill. Thanks for stopping by.

Unfortunately, it's not just Donald Kim, but a general malaise as America more justly takes its more reasonable place in the world of nations. We have done a lot to help level things pre-Trump but he and many others wish to make America an imperial power again. I suspect that "America First" is just a code phrase for "America Uber Alles" and Trump's implicit fascism. May God save us from the tyranny of our collective sin!

You are so right. I must admit I have not been a political pundit until Trump turned up in the Oval office and forced me into standing up for decency and moral ethics. Your comparisons are not wrong either and I fear for all of us. Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.

I've written several poems about Mr Trump (although i've not always called him that lol) Gee Phil it's a worry for the whole world with him at the helm - goodness only knows what he will tweet now twitter are expanding the number of characters he can use but he sure has a unique way of acting as President and it's not one i like:-( hugs jan xx

I love that you'll except all comments! Not the typical angry soul...phew! I think it's funny how we are paying so much attention to what is not as big of a deal as some make it out to be. Yes, there is some silliness...tweet tweet. But it is much more real then all the puppeteers out there! <3 Kim

There is an interesting Christian Book called "The People of the Lie" by Scott Peck. The book suggests that the greatest evil in the world is the lie and that liars are minions of Satan himself! Does Trump ever tell the truth? There is but one conclusion if Peck is right!

Thanks Kim for commenting, this is a platform for dialogue and free speech and my ego is not as large as Mr. Trump's, I do listen to what others say. He is a master manipulator of the media and public opinion. Have a great day :)
