Those subtle meanings
That draw the reader to
The heights or depths
Of emotion
A exhilirating ride
Along curves and dips of the letters
Those hidden messages
Waiting to be discovered
Those hints
And alluring peeks
Into someone’s mind
And what really resides
In the heart
Words
Those little messengers
That belie professed
meanings
And show
The real intention
At times
A select choice
Of delicious morsels
Of truth
Beautifully arranged
To appetize
And delight
The reader
And to satiate
Words
The little particles
Of the human
Soul
Exhaled onto the
Page
Carrying the essence
Of the spirit
And the heart
Living and beating
Separate entities
That captivate
In their simple
Yet profound
Beauty
Words
YOUR words
Have become
Explorers and have
Navigated their way
Into the inner sanctum
Of my soul
Where they are treasured
Venerated
And worshiped
Perfumed with the incense
Of my love.
